Juliette’s ready to leave the supernatural behind her. After living in a creepy circus, being killed by a vampire, and living as a ghost for several months, she’s had enough. She scores a scholarship at a small school on an island in Lake Superior. She’s not sure about the whole island thing, but figures the world is only big enough for one ghost island. Boy was she wrong. She finds that the supernatural has followed her and Samuel—the old circus ringmaster, who she thought was dead—is right in the middle of it all.
Kimberly Loth can’t decide where she wants to settle down. She’s lived in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Utah, California, Oregon, and South Carolina. She finally decided to make the leap and leave the U.S. behind for a few years. Currently, she lives in Cairo, Egypt with her husband and two kids.
She is a high school math teacher by day (please don’t hold that against her) and YA author by night. She loves romantic movies, chocolate, roses, and crazy adventures. Kissed is her first novel.
As a continuation of the Circus of the Dead books, we now get better acquainted with Juliette and a new location with an old antagonist. Needless to say, I was sucked in from the very first pages. I loved the new setting, as it was just as detailed and vibrant as the first. I’ve grown to adore this author because she is so talented with creating characters and settings. Overall, utterly fantastic!
