Mal is no longer a Fixer but the Queen of two of Laddenworn’s kingdoms: Redd and Hart. Although the Bloody Reign has ended, Wonderland has not been set free. Because Wonderland does not exist right now. Mal and her men are trapped inside a toxic fairy tale, made dark and bloody by the infection of another. Their biggest problem now is figuring out what triggered Wonderland’s break and how to right it. However, there are questions left unanswered and mysteries left to solve. What happened to the original Queens of Wonderland? Where is Wyat’s kindle? Where is the looking glass? How can Madness be cured? And although Redd and Hart are in fact dead – Mal beheaded them herself – where is the new threat coming from? For there is a new threat. The Dark Ones are turning Silence into a horror show. Every victim, animal, person, or unnamed, are left a rotted shell, covered in the black clutches of a painful death. But who holds the reins of the Dark Ones?
**This is a new four book series following the Chronicles of Blood. A new adult, reverse harem, dark romance novel with a ‘why choose’ ending, meaning the main character gets a happily ever after with more than one man. It contains magic, demons, shifters, nonsense, explicit sex scenes, blood, murder. There are references to past emotional abuse. This is a MMFMM book with a STRONG focus on the woman (although there is some MM and MMF in here, too).
Crea lives in upstate New York with her dog and husband. She has been writing since grade school, when her second grade teacher had her class keep writing journals. She has a habit of creating secondary, and often time tertiary, characters that take over her stories. When she can't fall asleep at night, she thinks up new scenes for her characters to act out. This, of course, is how most of her meant-to-be-thrown-away characters tend to end up front and center - and utterly swoon-worthy! Don't ask her how many book boyfriends she has...
When not writing, Crea is an avid reader. Her TBR pile is several hundred books high (don't even look at her kindle wish list or the unread books on her tablet). Sometimes, she enjoys crafting; sometimes, exploring nature; sometimes, traveling. Mostly, she enjoys putting her characters on paper and breathing life into them. Oh, and sleeping. Crea loves to sleep!
Chronicles of Madness Book 4. It’s the final instalment and although Mals story is now complete I hope this isn’t the last we see of wonderland and it’s characters.
70% of the book focuses on Mals main objective - to restore wonderland, then it moves to kind of an extended epilogue where we see 1, 5, 10, 20 & 35 years later so everything is all wrapped up and Mal finally completes her to do list.
Like most books in the genre we already know there will be some sort of happy ending however I liked that not everyone makes it to the end, the loss of both Ache and Ahdem in previous books really hits home during this one and it makes the ending bitter sweet.
I adore this series, it seems so light and fun on the surface but its actually really dark. I love it!
This is the fourth and final book in the Chronicles of Madness series and the conclusion of Mal’s story. The main mission in the book is to restore Wonderland and to find Time.
I quite liked the ending, but it is bittersweet because I will miss the characters a lot. Mal and her men almost feel like family. They have been through so much and I’m glad that the characters got their happy endings, despite Ache and Ahdem not making it to the end.
I do have a feeling that this is not the end for Wonderland and that we will be hearing more from some of the characters in the future.
I have loved reading about Mal and her epic adventure in fixing Wonderland. I was sad to see it come to an end yet felt a sense of catharsis when seeing Mal finally have her happy ending. It was a long and tough road to get there with plenty of heartache. The ending (last hour of the book)was like a really long epilogue with various milestones after the fixing of Wonderland which I loved. I loved being able to read just how busy Mal and her men had been growing their family. 😅
The author has blown me away with her talent to create such an intricate and complex story that takes the original Wonderland and weave it into something unique and captivating. There are a lot of fairy tale retellings out there and I’ve read plenty of them but this one stands out among the rest. The world building and plot was absolutely phenomenal.
I am excited to read more from this author so I can lose myself in another captivating world and story.
Finding Time was a great way to finish this collection, it wrapped up all the plot holes and the filled in questions.
I love the epilogue and seeing where the characters I've grown to love ended up.
Crea Reitan did a fantastic job of condensing what was no doubt another novel or two into one to complete the series in a nice even number complementary to the prequel quintet.
I love how the ending leaves it open for future books in this world.
It's also wonderful to compare the characters in their first appearances to how far they have grown in their adventures, challenges and the explorations for relationships.
I'm sure that others have written more in-depth reviews but I'm still processing and will likely be in a book hangover from a few days while I come down from the reading-high of this series.
The grand finale to Mal's adventures in Wonderland! It was a hectic ride but it finally got there. I can't believe it's over but I was so satisfied to see every items on Mal's list (save for one) be crossed off. This book, and let's be honest, the whole series, was incredible. I loved evrything about it, one of my favorite series ever for sure! The last chapter especially was very interesting with POVs from differents characters several years into the future after Mal fixed her fairy tail. The only thing I can say is that it was a fitting end to the story with a HEA. And.... there clearly is a wide opened door to a spin off series! I'm sad it's over, but it was a great ending and the author has many more projects for the future that I can't wait to read.
Well as usual, the end is bittersweet. I wasn’t sure where the HEA was going to come in given all the crazy events and Snow’s hard on for poor Eagy! This series has been amazing and I’ve loved all the characters. I’ve personally never seen or read Alice In Wonderland but I know the gist of it and it was easy to follow along with Crea’s retelling. I’ll always remember this series as it’s the first Wonderland story I’ve read but also the heartache I feel over Ahdem and Ache! I swear I’ve never cried more during a series. I can’t wait to read more from Crea and read the next fixer’s story!

I couldn't put this book down. What a satisfying (though still sad, for REASONS) conclusion to this absolutely epic Saga! I loved it! Though my heart is still broken over a certain someone. This book kept me on my toes and I can't wait to see whatever new adventures happen with the characters.
This was an awesome read that had me hooked from the moment that I started reading it. It moves along at a really great pace, not too fast nor too slow but just the perfect speed for a comfortable read. The characters are amazing and you cannot help but fall in love with them. The story will grab you and keep you reading till the end. This book is a must read, no doubt about it.
Have you ever wished to be a character in a book?!
This is the fourth book in the Chronicles of Madness series and should be read in order. I also suggest you read the Chronicles of Blood series before.
Are you ready for: 🖤 Gorgeous shifters 👑 Strong heroine 🥰 Adorable Rehm 🐲 Dangerous beasts 😜 We’re all mad here 🔥 Steamy scenes 🎩 Heart-stopping action ⭐️ Tea-tastic adventure
The highly anticipated conclusion to the Chronicles of Madness series is finally here. A superb but bitter-sweet end to this action packed, steamy, dark, magical series that has kept me turning the pages all the way through, never quite knowing what twists were coming next!
I will truly miss these wonderful, crazy characters more than I can even express. Each book they’ve carved themselves deeper into my heart, refusing to leave. Never have I felt this way about characters, even writing this review I’m tearing up, which also never happens. I think that shows how special they are.
Mal and her men connect with each other, help each other grow, help each other become their best selves. So while we’re rooting for them because they’re insanely hot, we’re also rooting for them because they so clearly belong together.
However, there was one thing I was disappointed with. I felt like some of the men loved their male partners more than Mal. Don’t get me wrong I don’t want them to love Mal more than anyone else but I thought all the relationships should be equal.
A myriad of emotions flooded me reading Finding Time. This book put me through the emotional wringer and I wasn’t expecting that at all.
It conquered my heart. It conquered my soul. And I loved every second of it!
I’m going to go read the entire series again now so I can hold on to these characters for a bit longer and experience their spectacularly mad journey again.
This epic adventure is one I never anticipated, and it’s been one wild ride. All I will say is that this was a fitting and fabulous end to a story full of twists and turns, darkness and light, despair and hope, acceptance, trust and love. I've grown to love Mal and her men more and more as the series has progressed. They’ve become so important to me, their world one I easily lost myself in. I have loved every minute, and I’ll admit, I’m heartbroken that their story is done. They will forever live in my heart, and I hope you enjoy this conclusion as much as I did.
*Spoiler* This book does have triggering content such as violence and death.
Let me start off by saying I absolutely adored this series and will hold it near and dear to my heart. After reading a different RH series based on Alice in wonderland, I was itching for another one and this one did not disappoint. This is me nitpicking and leaving this open for discussion if I missed something or misinterpreted anything.
With that being said, I really wish you could’ve seen more intimate details between the development between Mal and Lane after everything was said and done. You’re telling me for 5 years, they’ve only had a physical relationship? Nothing more deeply developed than that? Until one day Lane is ready? I mean, I understand wrapping up loose ends, but I think a little more could’ve been done with Mal, Ris, Lede, and Lane.
- the whole fae time thing with Ris and Lane doesn’t make sense. I only say this because Lane took everyone into the fae world before when Ahdem was alive and yet there wasn’t a time disturbance. I know they weren’t there as long as Ris and Lane were, but there would be some sort of time discrepancy there.
- How did I forget about this whole thing with Lepa! WHY WAS HE ALWAYS GOINF OUT OF HIS WAY TO BE AN ASS? I refuse to believe that he’s like that just because he can be. Mal’s men didn’t even understand his hostility towards her. That’s not ever explained, nor does it ever state anywhere that they (him and lorem) were informed that they were husbands of the late queens.
- the whole thing with Mara being ‘unbalanced’ and self isolating herself… That came out of no where. Then she drops off a baby to Rehm and disappears once again?
I really wish you could see how the parents were really like with the children as they got older. You really see how they shine with little Rehm, but i can’t help, but imagine what it would’ve been like raising 5 fae babies. I understand there’s only so much you can do until you drag on the series, but there’s children’s names towards the end that I’m scratching my head on who they belong to or who’s their father.
Don’t even get me started with the open ending. I hope it ties into another series, or else it’ll be a bit frustrating knowing that’s how this series ends.

Ah. The last book in the series and the majority of the book now is to restore Wonderland to its former glory, but better, but also to restore time. Then we get many epilogues from 1, 5, 10, 20 and 35 years after everything has happened and what has happened to the family dynamics within that time and the children that Mal has had with her husbands.
Snow White's defeat is a rather quick and without much fanfare, but there is a mother fight scene and emotional struggle, with new husbands, children and gripping story tales along with the brilliant songs/poetry.
The epilogues are from all other points of view, Rehm, Lanes children, Mal and others, we get memorials, the All Dead Band has been rebuilt and so has Schoolroom and Lessons and a cure from Madness.
Finding time and freezing him was also a little anticlimactic and the relationships between the husbands seemed to take more of the book than Mal's relationships with them even as they continued to travel as a group.
The last epilogue with Lane and his children going to the Fae cave does leave an open story line, so I am hoping that something happens in the future within Wonderland as they continue the task Lane has given them.
I have really enjoyed the whole Wonderland story through the two series and am really quite upset that they have had to finish, I would have loved for the series to continue.
Lets hope that while we next get Ira's story, a friend that Mal had in dead end, that we will also get stories for her brother and the other friend eventually.
It's over and done :( I don't know what to do with myself. I'm so happy how the story ended, and hopefully we get more Wonderland in the future with that ending, but I'm happy how it ended with Mal and her husbands. I must say it was a bit touch and go at one point and I was so sad and they all were at one time and after everything they went through it felt unfair but it fitted the story perfectly.
I highly recommend this story for lovers of retellings and reverse harems, it's a bit on the MM side and the focus is not all on the woman in this story it just fits and it's right and Mal is amazing and they guys make her feel loved even if there are MM relations within the harem. I would say a must have for every bookshelf.
This series and the other four books from the first series will have you completely sucked in and losing track of time. I was enthralled completely by these twisted Wonderland stories. Crea Reitan is a fabulous author, she has the ability to draw you in, and keep you so enamored with the Maddness of these stories. I laughed, cried, and felt everything these characters when through, all I call really say is 5 ⭐ is not enough. Thank you Crea.
Did not know I was missing this type of book in my library. I have never read RH before, and I am so glad I was recommended these books! Love her versions of these fairytales, and I can not wait for more! Loving the stories written by her and my husband loves the fact that I am so invested in these books! (He gets more action whilst I'm reading these books! 😂😉🥵🔥😂
Ahh I can’t wait for the kids stories, it’s a lot of kids though so idk if it’s all of them or what. You can just tell she left it open enough to give us more. Great ending, not rushed, but does tie everything up. Sad to see this story go
This is the fourth and final book in this series and a wonderful conclusion to the story. Again I was hooked start to finish. This world and all it's characters have been amazing. Loved all the twist and turn this story took. Looking forward to more from Crea Reitan
I loved this series, and loved the way everything was wrapped up, the epiloges did start to get a bit much and i honestly couldn't keep track of who was who by the end of it. But i would definatly highly recomend both of the Wonderland series.
Truly one of my favorite series of all time! I love everything about the world that Crea has built and the wonderful people inside of it! Getting to the end was so bittersweet, the story wrapped up in a beautiful way, yet I am so sad to close the book on the characters that have become like friends
Whew! What can I say, I’m a sucker for fairytale retellings and this is one of the best I’ve ever read. Alice in Wonderland has been one of my favorite stories since I was a young girl. I was immediately drawn in from the first book and continued to fall more in love with every installment to the series. It was beautifully written and had all the things I want in a book. Everything from the world building to character development was amazing, I never wanted it to end. I cried legit tears when I finished the last one. I wish I could keep going on adventures with Mal and her harem. I look forward to reading more stories from the Dead End verse.
A stunning conclusion to what has been an epic series. Sometimes the build up through a series reaches the “payoff” and I have been left feeling that it was a bit anticlimactic but NOT with this series, everything is rounded off and bought to and nicely. Sad to see the end of this particular series but excited to see what is next for this amazing author!
