The fight against displaced monsters has sent my team to the Magical Institution of Africa, but the situation is turning out to be more dire than we expected. Something big is brewing in this corner of the world, and secrets we never anticipated are suddenly coming to light. Secrets that could mean an all-out monster war is on our horizon.
Okay, vall is truly a master of stories… even though he sometimes writes misinformation (I hate that word) the malawai lake is the 9th largest, while Victoria is the third, also I swear it’s truly a good thing men read these books and not women…. His description of Nala and some of the non white woman have me laughing… as a black guy myself but very much RED (winks) if you know you know, saying Nala has kinky hair or saying the lady from MIA has an Afro might make some sjw’s touchy 😂 for me though I found it hilarious because HEY!! It’s true, right? Looking at Nalas pic she’s definitely a sista, probably Dominican or something since she’s fluent in Spanish and she has that tight and thick curly hair and being in MIA territory you’re definitely going to run into some afros right? I’m tired of people being so sensitive about the truth and they cry. Grow up. Vall isn’t scared to write the truth and it’s so refreshing. So much happened in this book and it’s getting sooooo good. Nick, my man I’m so thrilled for him. I’m truly going to miss Binta and Bo. I somehow hope they can stick around. I like Zahra too! Also the revelations we’ve found out about Lia was such a plot twist! I wasn’t expecting it! Also I love how Dylan’s dragons interact and have “personal” lives 😍😚. So cute. Vall is an amazing creator! Onward lads!
With every book this series gets better and better. Eric Vall writes this series in such a way that it just draws you into the myth and lore of monsters. I find myself looking up every monster that is every book. This tells me the research and effort Eric puts into each book. Book 6 was an extremely fun read and I can’t wait to see what more happens to Dylan Cooper and Team Dragon in book 7! Another nice touch in all the books of this series but especially in book 6, is how Eric has developed the relationships of The MC and other characters. Nick found his dream girl!!!!
There is a point in a series were things either keep getting better or they tank. This series just keeps getting better and there is no sign of tanking anywhere in it's future based on the previous books in this series and Eric Valls other series to date. More character development, some interesting additional and what is the start of potentially a very long end game. Hoping this series does not finish soon. I am loving Dylan and his crew of heroes. Bring on book 7
Outstandingly brilliant series, and the latest book just makes it better. New allies and friends, competition and bigger threats, things are beginning to amp up. Love the new dragon on the cover and some of the personal development for characters, but it's the final revelation in the plot that will have you begging for the next book.
If you enjoy the series then this is a good addition. The characters continue to be the best part of the story, the plot is fine but what happens to the MC is really what's holds it together. There is an over abundance of trivial dialogue that gets trying but that's been the whole series. The plotline is simple but at this point you just accept the it!
This series is really incredible, the characters, action, and overall plot are fascinating! The scope of danger the world within faces is also thrilling, o cannot wait for the next in the series!
Seems like we are in the middle of a greater book. Interesting that the Russian conjurer is having trouble with her dragons. Maybe Dylan can rescue her with her dragons.
The crew went to Africa and confronted new monsters and met new people. Continues to be a fun and interesting new world view and now a new stranger enemy identified. Wait for the next book as they return to the USA.
Dylan gains and loses, he and his team are picked for a mission to Africa. And he meets the perfect woman for Nick, but his chance encounter with the female dragon conjured is not as he had hoped. A good read.
This is an excellent series, things are heating up between humans and monsters. Dylan and his group go to Africa to handle a displaced monster, make new friends. Dylan gets a new dragon and meets a very haughty Russian Dragon Congerer
Another dragon but this one has some pretty interesting powers, also enjoyed the fights and hearing about the different monsters. Look forward to the next book.
A fun read. If you liked the previous books you will like this one. Our heroes slowly start to learn more about the monster attacks and the mystery gets deeper.
