Henry

Her name was Ellie Scott, and she was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. I was speechless the moment she looked at me when her stunning emerald eyes met mine. It felt like time had stopped, and suddenly, all was right in my disheveled life.

We lived in different worlds. Mine was a world of hearing, and hers was a world of silence. The chemistry between us was undeniable. We used sign language to communicate, and she had quickly become my everything. But I faced two problems: the secret I held and my family.

I was born a Walker and came from a family of wealth and status. My parents would never approve of or accept her, and my mother would stop at nothing to keep us apart. They underestimated me because I would give up everything to be with her.

Then everything was destroyed when my ex-fiancée showed up with some news that threatened to tear us apart.

My life was finally right, and I wouldn't let anyone or anything destroy it.

Ellie

Navigating relationships had always posed a challenge for me. I supposed I was waiting for the perfect man to walk into my life. Henry Walker embodied that perfection—irresistibly attractive, sweet, and kind. His love for me was unconditional.

Our connection was flawless. The chemistry we shared was beyond measure. However, there was something he never told me. After his mother tracked me down and set out to hurt me by divulging his secret, my perfect world and heart were shattered. I cut all ties with Henry Walker and never wanted to see him again.

In a bid to mend what he had broken, Henry initiated a plan to bring us back together. But the question that lingered in my mind was if my love was strong enough to forgive him—only time held the answer.

DNF 55% ew ew ew what an absolute shit show

Henry spent all his life appeasing his parents from graduating top of his Yale class to proposing to Kirsten, the girl his parents wanted, all for control of the family business. Except this dude has already checked out of the relationship and has no feelings for his fiancé. So when he meets Ellie, it’s fireworks and everything. (Ellie is deaf but Henry is able to sign because of his deceased twin who was also deaf)

Henry is instantly infatuated with Ellie that he starts seeing her on the side. Listen, yes he could have just been having lunch with a “friend” but duuuude he lied to people about who he was having lunch with. Why? Because he knew it was wrong and that he was developing feelings for Ellie. Did I also mention that this is still during the wedding planning, which the fiancé is doing all on her own because Henry is an absolute dead weight and won’t be truthful about his feelings OH AND Ellie has no clue that he is even engaged/unavailable. How utterly romantic. So these two go on two-ish dates with some heavy petting and make out sesh. Ellie trying to put the moves on Henry but somehow this douche manages to find his moral compass and put a stop to it. Rahrahrah. People telling Henry to make a damn decision and not lead anyone on. Honestly, this guy was just becoming more and more irredeemable by each page. He was already emotionally cheating on his fiancé and was toeing the line with the physical side as well. He also kept Ellie in the dark because he KNEW there was just no way around it. Henry goes on and on about how he’ll come clean but delays it and oooh anyone can see that train wreck ahead.

When he finally manages to break things off with Kirsten it was so cringe. BRUH THIS GUY has no balls at all. Henry goes on about how he wanted to breakup with Kirsten since he “… wasn’t in love with her. It wasn’t fair to her or to me.” First off, don’t play this off like you’re doing Kirsten a favour okay. If Henry hadn’t met Ellie he would have gone ahead and married her because he wanted the family company. He was only being oh so “selfless” because now he had something to lose (Ellie). If he was a better guy he would not have proposed to someone he knew he didn’t love at all rather than going along with his parents and stringing the girl along. Then this coward was all

“I silently prayed to God to let her be the one to call it quits so I wouldn’t have to be the bad guy.”

WTF?! You bitch ass! You ARE already the bad guy no matter how you look at it. You cheated and purposely omitted the fact that you were already in a relationship before stepping outta your lane. BOYYYY go lick rust.

I don’t care how much Kirsten is villianised but it doesn’t absolve Henry of his wrongs and what an absolutely shit way to go about it just to minimise his mistakes. We get told by side characters that they did not like Kirsten rah rah —No matter what it doesn’t make it okay that Henry stepped outside the boundaries and two wrongs don’t make a right sorry. Anyway, this whole trash fire of a character and plot is why I’m tapping out because I just can’t anymore.

I loved that the heroine was deaf. Rarely are heroines less than perfect, never mind having a disability.

Sadly, that was the only thing I liked about the book! The "hero" was an asshole, and not the kind we like reading about, who was okay with lying to the heroine. The writing seemed like it was written by a new author...there was just something about it that felt stilted. Also she included a lot of mundane moments that normally arent included in novels. Overall, I found it boring and not worth continuing.

I really enjoyed this book! I knocked it out on a rainy afternoon. The storyline is what sold me to pick up this book. The main two characters cross paths at the grocery store and hit it off from there. There is instant chemistry, a really sweet attraction. Ellie has some challenges that she has overcome through her life that help connect her with Henry on a deeper level than he has ever experienced.

Unfortunately, nothing is perfect and Henry is a little too scared to share information that is important at the start of a relationship. Insert an obnoxious ex, real jerks of parents, and a kick a-- sister, and you have the makings of a great book. I will say that both leads add a few moments of immaturity where I thought no way would a successful adult behave in that manner, but nothing too crazy or enough to turn me off of the story. Definitely recommend this one for a quick, easy, steamy read!

I love♥️love💛love🧡this book 👌

Most definitely five brightest stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and more ✨✨✨✨✨for this most amazing book for this month of June, normally dubbed as a Bridal month, or most popularly known worldwide as month for Weddings
👰 💐🥀 Well… do we see a Wedding? Or Maybe?
Waiting for the release of this book tested my patience but nevertheless, it has paid off beyond my expectations!!!
Sandi is that kind of author with a supernatural power in her brain, with a typical mindset that makes our hearts go high with great expectations… her love stories are like a drug that makes you feel like flying high, floating on air absorbing every mesmerizing chapters in her book (s) 👍This book’s phenomenal main characters Henry Walker and Elizabeth “Ellie” Scott has stolen my heart from page one to Epilogue 👏 Both were destined by fate from the very first moment when they accidentally met at the grocery store! Love at first sight never grows old, for this actually happened with Henry whose greatest regret is his forced engagement thru his parents instigation.
With Twists and turns that usually happens with the upper crust of New York society, Henry’s parents has made his life a misery with their meddling in his love life !! Thanks to his ultra smart little sister Addison, the balance of power in the family battleground was evenly designed for the meddling parents to see the light, so to speak. Finally, getting rid of Kirsten was the highlight I was waiting for! Lol !! Henry’s triumphant laugh was golden!
And now, here comes our heroine Ellie, smart and very beautiful standing five seven, blond with emerald eyes, altho born deaf, was already an achiever in her own right.
I laughed out loud when she fearlessly challenged Henry’s mom Lillian! An eventful engagement took place, as expected of course!
Modern technology has finally resolved with Ellie’s acceptance for ear surgery, accepting Henry’s suggestions that she rejected at first, but thanks to Henry’s dad Carlyle, who miraculously turned around from animosity to acceptance of Ellie whom he already dearly love! Together they made it possible for an immediate surgery by meeting his friend, a surgeon.
Henry’s greatest birthday surprise… Ellie appointment for surgery for the ears implant, which became a phenomenal success, amidst huge happiness for all, naturally, a huge wedding followed👰💐🥀❤️
Henry, currently CEO of Walker Capital, a promise fulfilled by his dad!
As always although maybe hackneyed, but still Henry and Ellie looks to me as a fairytale love story, living happily ever after with their beautiful boy Theo David Walker giving ultra happiness to the family circle, to the grandparents, most especially, and of course, auntie Addison, and Ellie’s mom 💞💓👼
Bravo 👏 Sandi great job well done 👍
Moral of this book… reconciliation, forgiveness, understanding, redemption, love and more love 💕💞♥️

Amazing

Absolutely fantastic loved this book from start to finish.

In all the billionaire book I have read I would have to say Henry was the smoothest out of them all he was so sweet. I have to say his parents were a nasty piece of work but I loved the way Henry and his sister Addison stood up to them. Henry mother Lillian is one nasty spiteful woman I would love to meet her on a dark night because she was a vindictive woman towards Ellie by seeking her out to tell her about Kirsten and Henry and also the baby.

I can see now why Henry broke off his engagement with Kirsten because she was a spiteful little madam but what I loved was that Addison was no fool and I loved how she caught her in a lie. Plus the look on her mother's face would have been priceless and telling her to leave. As I say Karma is a bitch it comes back to bite you.

I loved how Henry fell head over heels in love with Ellie in such a short time. But it was sad that his vindictive mother ruined everything for them and broke them in two. What was sweet the way Henry brought her out to California in order to speak to her away from everyone's interference.

Another excellent read from Sand. I always look forward to every book she released because you can't put them down.

Where do I start, such a mix of characters some you loved and some you loved to hate. Henry and Addison were brother and sister and were so close and neither of them got on with there rich successful parents and there high standards within there comunity. Henry in a relationship to be married all arranged by his parents was a very unhappy man but as he was practically running his dad's business one day to take it over fully he just went with the flow until he met ellie. She was deaf but beautiful and I loved how he fell for her instantly, but he was engaged to be married....and so the story began. I loved the romance in this book and how Addison had Henry's back always, the younger but very clever younger sister. There dad was horrible but oh my the mother, you will despise her .... See for yourself!!. If I had to criticise anything in this book of bed be how in places it seemed to rush on as in 1 month later or 3 month later, this happened numerous times throughout the book. It felt rushed or maybe it's just that when I'm reading a sandi Lynn book I never want it to end so I continent to skip parts I want every detail. Your books are amazing and now I'm waiting for my next one

This was really good

I absolutely loved this. I’ve really been having a hard time getting into anything lately, but I was sucked into this one immediately and I couldn’t put it down.

I loved Ellie so much! She was such a beautiful, kind and strong heroine. It was just so nice to have a heroine who wasn’t jaded and miserable. She was deaf but still had an amazing attitude. She led a very full filling life and didn’t let anyone get her down. She was just such a breath of fresh air. (I feel like lately, every heroine I read about is whiny and self absorbed).

Anyway.. I loved Henry and I loved how taken he was with Ellie when he first met her. I loved how she trusted her feelings with him and was “all in” in regards to exploring a relationship with him. They seemed like they were truly made for each other.

I HATED the secrets he kept from her and you knew it was only a matter of time before that blew up in his face. For a romance, this was actuality pretty suspenseful as to how it was gonna all work out. But it did and had an amazing ending.

Unspoken: A Billionaire Romance

Every single book you pick up to read says a Billionaire Romance. Why is that? This story was about a guy falling in love with a deaf woman. She was smart and had her own business. Men use to date her then turn and run because they couldn't be with a deaf person. Henry fell in love quickly, he was engaged to a woman that he didn't love because of his parents. He decided that he had enough of their believes. His twin who died at a early age was deaf, so he knew how to sign to be able to communicate with Ellie. They had many twists and turns with their relationship and with Henry's parents not wanting Ellie in his life because of her being deaf. This story was absolutely fantastic from the beginning to the end. I enjoyed it so much more than a normal story that this author usually writes about, in away a awakening. I'm pretty sure that whoever reads this story will love it. I was so engaged with it, I had a hard time not stopping myself from reading! The chemistry between theses two where simply amazing! ENJOY!!

𝗨𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 is a 𝗌𝗍𝖺𝗇𝖽𝖺𝗅𝗈𝗇𝖾 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘉𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝖱𝗈𝗆𝖺𝗇𝖼𝖾, about our main characters 𝙀𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙣𝙧𝙮.

Ellie is deaf so the book has a disability representation to it, which I loved so much. Also, this book has a little bit of cheating on it, considering our Hero has a girlfriend of 3 years, though it's pretty much a sort of arranged marriage but still... So please keep that in mind before going into reading the book.

Anyways, 𝗨𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 serves, as well as my 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 by this author and I, liked this a lot. Fast-paced storytelling with the confectionary style of writing. I like how she characterized the main characters, primarily Ellie. She's a very optimistic heroine. As for Henry, I admire how he's a zeal to fight his love for Ellie no matter what.

Overall, I liked this book a lot, and I'm excited to read other of her books. I consider this a good introduction to the author's catalogue.♥︎

I didn’t hear you.

I liked this story, it was different. Henry worked for his family business in Real Estate, with very controlling parents. Though he was thirty his was to be married. He was engaged to someone of his parents liking but he didn’t love her. One day he went to the grocery store and someone was blocking the the way for him to pass with her basket. After she didn’t answer he moved the basket accidentally bumping into the apples spilling them everywhere. He eventually came eye to eye with the most beautiful woman he ever seen. Ellie was deaf the reason she dis not hear him. Henry sister was deaf as well he know sign language. There relationship struggles were real. Good story

Insta Love

Love stories were the challenged person gets the TDH billionaire. Ellie Scott was tall, beautiful, sexy with green eyes and long wavy blonde hair. She also happe s to be hearing impaired or deaf. When Henry Walker sees Ellie at the grocery store he blown away by her beauty. What a coincidence that he knows how to sign. However, Henry is engaged to a woman he doesn't love, but his parent's approve. Loved that Ellie was a fighter and stood her ground instead of being a victim. Henry was a jerk for not telling her he was engaged and foe allowing his parents to control him. BTW, Addison was awesome! Their HEA was great - they got married and had a baby boy. Couldn't put this book down.

Did you ever sit and think what it would be like hearing th chaos all are our you?

Many of us take for granted our sense! In this story Sandi Lynn writes about a beautiful woman who lost Her hearing at 5years old...A handsome billionaire runs into her literally at the market.
This man was trying to get himself out of arranged marriage with a woman he did not love.
This beautiful woman from the market was very talented and had a self made career in web design and an artistic.
How can he get to see her again?
What can they possibly have in common?
Can he defy his parents and leave the woman he is engaged to?
Would this beautiful stranger play a roll in his unhappy life?
What lesson can you learn from this story?

Unspoken is such a beautiful read. I loved this one so much and did not want it to end. Ellie is wonderful and puts a whole new world in front and center. She really makes you think of everything differently and handles everything with ease and grace. Henry is sweet and you feel his pull towards Ellie from the beginning. I love Ellie and Henry together so much. Henry never looked at Ellie any differently and I love how he stands up for her. Even through some disagreements you feel the love between Ellie and Henry that is just so strong. I love everything Sandi Lynn gives us in this one.

Now me meets and sign language to a beautiful deaf woman 🚺 he's attracted to her, and more. He knows sign language because his sister was born deaf and passed away. Broken his mother and father ❤ hearts when the deaf sister died. And his younger sister didn't feel loved by their parents..

Excellent story.

I love this book, I adore the way the author writes the story of Ellie and Henry. Ellie is a beautiful woman not a disabled woman, she’s strong, talented, beautiful, funny, smart and sassy. Henry is a model gentleman, he adores Ellie, stands up to his parents and fights for the woman he loves. This books is excellent, it has become one of my favorite. I’ll definitely be rereading it.

I really enjoyed this book, but then again I love all of Sandi Lynn's books. They are so wonderful. When I start reading them I can't put them down I get so caught up in the story. I almost late for work one day cause I was caught up in it. I live the story allot the only thing I can complain on is towards the end if felt a little rushed. I would have loved to read about finding out get was going go be parents, and how be handled being a father. But them again I never want her books to end.

Silence Is Golden

When Henry's hpuse keeper is out of town on vacation, he is forced to go grocery shopping by himself. And what he finds at the store has him wanting to change his life. Including his fiancée. Ellie is deaf. Has been since she was five. And little did she know she was in the way until the apples fell. And Henry was there. This book has quite a bit of yo-yoing around in it. But overall a good read.

It is boring. I’ve read almost every book of the author and they are all the same, that’s something you know before opening them. I do not really have a problem with that, but, in this case, the story was… I think she tried to write something like A Beautiful Sight but this one didn’t manage to caught me. The characters never made me feel a thing, it all happened so fast and none of it felt real.

Fantastic as usual.

Yet another fantastic read from a fabulous author.
This book follows the ups and downs of these 2 very believable characters. You feel that you are right there with them witnessing the beautiful relationship develop. Also shows what effects troublesome families can cause.
Thank you Sandi for yet another fabulous book, Can't wait for your next release.

i don like the couple, what Henry did, he is a cheater, he bullies everyone around him, not only his parent, Ellie, his best friends.

Ellie, yup, Henry is right, she is spoiled kid and run away when it’s difficult.

one thing i really don’t understand, why we need to be completed, no hearing is fine, sight loss is fine, handicapped is fine, why change.

Henry will be your favorite millionaire

Another wonderful Sandi Lynn story. Henry is by far my favorite millionaire. From the very beginning he proved he was a caring, loving man. He had to fight his family to be with the woman he loved. I don't want to give away any spoilers because this book is a must read.

Eye Opener

It was an eye opener to the struggles hearing impaired people experience. As I have gotten older, my hearing is compromised and now wear hearing aides. I can’t imagine what it would have been like early in my life. Ellie was such a strong, independent woman. I loved her self assurance and self esteem!!

Love, laughter & happily ever after

I've read all the books in this series up to this point. They're wonderful love stories with a HAE.

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT

The only drawback in this & the previous book was the big ta-do about sight & hearing loss. Why did it have to be fixed they weren't broken. Made me sad, why was it necessary? Just one gals opinion.

wow, wow and wow

This was such a good book. I laughed (in the middle of the night while my family was sleeping) I got so angry I wanted to hurt his parents and cried when she heard his voice for the first time. I loved the way his dad came around and spoke with her told her she would have a super power 🥰
