Rate this book
Save a horse, ride an outlaw tiger...

As an orphan raised on Dragonclaw ranch, Dallas the tiger shifter is completely loyal to all the people and shifters who live there. So when a local story about gigantic monsters emerging from the ground draws unwanted attention, Dallas swears he'll protect his home and its secrets at all costs. As one of the smartest, strongest creatures on earth, it should be simple. That is, until he meets feisty, sweet Mel, the reporter getting closest to the truth, and the beast inside Dallas growls to claim the woman he knows is his.

Mel is chasing her big break, seeking to expose literal monsters to the world. When her cameraman screws up and leaves her in danger, she winds up saved by a shadowy man in a cowboy hat, who also shows up the next day to save her again. The huge, silent man intrigues her, even as he insists on staying nearby. But as Mel explores the beautiful Texas wilderness with Dallas, she can't help getting dangerously close to the gorgeous man helping her, and ever more interested in what he's hiding behind those amber eyes...

As Dallas tries to protect those closest to him, his heart is pulled in two directions. His tiger has made it the human is his. But Mel is getting closer to the truth, along with several other dangerous parties. And Dallas might just have to choose between his home and secrets, and the woman he now desperately loves.

Outlaw Tiger is book 4 in the Texas Dragons series!

I read this about 2 weeks ago and just have been able to review it because uni has been kicking my ass. That being said I remember this one pretty well. It is my favorite of the series. Dallas I loved his plot and how different his background. An "orphan" (once you read it you'll get why that may not be the correct term) family-less young Dallas is taken in by Harrison the real gruff dragon star of book 1 Cowboy Dragonof the series. I love the found family trope and this is done well. Dallas is a tiger which if you've read Bolryder's series: Tiger Protectors Box Set you'll recognize the lore around tigers who are very rare and do not occur naturally in the world but are bioengineered.

Mel the heroine a journalist, chasing her big break. I find journalism interesting and I did like how Mel was able to uphold her journalistic integrity and ethics while still chasing her lead. Often in writing journalists are portrayed as badgering and willing to break and enter to property. Honestly when I read the synopsis I thought Mel would meet Dallas while breaking into the Dragon Claw ranch. Dallas rescues her which isn't a coincidence (cough, cough he's following her). Eventually they get to know each better... than whole lot better. This has a HEA obviously. Also, I love how the basilisk played a roll in this one. I really wish Gunnar would have been included in on this series.

2.5⭐️ (but a STRONG 2.5⭐️….maybe a 2.75⭐️)

FINALLY!! Dallas’ book 😈

Maybe I’m biased but I don’t care- this is the best installment of the series and I highly doubt Mr. “rogue alpha wolf” is gonna end up topping it. This, however, doesn’t say much considering the writing quality and cringe-worthy dialogue/narration choices have remained the same.

I think what makes book 4 is having Dallas be the strong and silent type who very rarely speaks. This way, we hardly ever have to deal with cringey dialogue coming out of his mouth like with the others.

There’s also way too much going on with the basilisks and this weird group of shifter supremacists alongside Dallas’ background as a living experiment for mercenary assassins.

You can’t rush all of that with little to no background information on all of it.

Mel was fine as a character. I did really enjoy the setup as her being a journalist investigating paranormal activity in the area and running immediately into Dallas while on the search. What I didn’t appreciate was how easily she would forget to do her job because she was too distracted by how horny she way. Get a grip, woman!

CW: explicit sexual content, violence, blood, murder, death, sexual harassment

I was going to give this five stars, but decided on four due to the built-in obnoxiousness and TSTL-ness of female journalists in pretty much any romance novel, including this one (eager to prove themselves, determined to get the story at any cost, makes stupid decisions out of sheer stubbornness, etc.). I did love the story otherwise, especially Dallas, and am loving the series as a whole.

This is an OK addition to the Texas Dragons series, but I did have one BIG issue with it. The author needs to research how people in Texas talk, because she had them talking as if they had absolutely no education, and constantly used bad grammar. Very few people in Texas actually say "Howdy, pardner", "I ain't" instead of "I'm not", call women "Darlin", etc. As a native Texan, I found it insulting that she wrote her characters as if all Texans talk like hicks with little to no education. The language like that wasn't quite as insulting in this book as it was in the first three books in the series, because Dallas didn't talk much at all and Mel was an educated reporter. That issue, along with my dislike of some of Mel's behavior, was still enough to lower my rating to 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3 stars.

This book is about Dallas and Mel. Dallas has been an interesting character throughout the series, and I was glad to finally get his story. His start in life was incredibly sad, but I liked that Harrison had found him as a child and brought him to Dragonclaw Ranch. That made me like Harrison a lot more that I did before I read this book.

Mel was hard for me to like, especially when she got so angry at Dallas for not telling her about shifters. She didn't seem to care that he couldn't tell her, and that her reporting on shifters would put all shifters in incredible danger -- and could possibly start a war. It was like the only thing that mattered to her was that Dallas stopped her from getting the journalistic "scoop" on shifters. That behavior was just awful, and it made me wonder how Dallas could love someone so selfish. She did finally realize her attitude was wrong, and got better, but I still didn't like her much.

In spite of my issue with the way the characters talked, and my dislike of Mel, I did enjoy the story. I'm looking forward to reading the next one in the series. This book can be read standalone, but I think readers will enjoy it more if they read Terry's Double Dragons series first. The books in this series should also be read in order, since they contain plot lines that extend through the entire series.

My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

Exceptional

Well this is the third book of this series that I have read, in fact the series caught my attention so much that I read them one after the other.
Without realising it I had already bought bks #1 #3 and #4 so now I only need to grab bk #2 and the series is complete, hopefully the two remaining shifters will also get a chance to relate the events leading up to meeting their mates.
I always thoroughly enjoy Ms Bolryder's book's, she knows how to give just the right amount of action, adventure and emotional sensation to keep the storyline somewhat addictive.
I have to applaud her tenacity of finding the right amount of dialogue for Dallas, keeping him silent a great deal of the time but also knowing the right time for him to speak or respond in answer to the person trying to get him to talk. Mel is so much like Dallas that no one could doubt shes his mate But having had a loving family Mel is able to talk with just the right amount of spunk keeping smart, reflective Dallas continually on his toes.
Finding how Ms Bolryder ties up a number of loose ends in the series is perfect especially bringing in new characters who look as though they may give other shifters a run for their money, plus creating a connection to a species that Dragonclaw ranch has known about for some time but had protected them by not exposing them to others of their kind. I am hoping that Ms Bolryder creates a spin off from this, but only time will tell.
Exceptionally well written, put together with just the right amount of curiosity for us to wonder who and what is causing all the trouble that seems to be springing up around both the ranch and the small town.
Every book in the series gives us a view of each characters background as the storyline evolve, but I think Dallas pulled me in emotionally far more than any of the other's while seeing him come full circle to finally find fate did not leave him to his own devices, as she directed the perfect person towards him who would give him the personal family and solidify the balance of himself right down to his core. Never thinking he could find a home, the home decided to find him.
If paranormal romance is what you enjoy reading then this is a perfect storyline to absorb and get involved with.
Enjoy all the drama as Mel and Dallas try getting to know each other hoping they both get what they are looking for.

Reviewed at Shifter Haven

Outlaw Tiger is the fourth title in the Texas Dragons series with a couple that seems about as opposite as it’s possible to get – one more deadly silent type, one brash, non-stop talker. Yeah, an interesting combination of mates there.

I’m not going to quibble about my reactions to characters right now. I adored, have loved Dallas since first meeting him at the start of this series, and couldn’t wait to get his story in my hands. Mel. No, just no, could not stand her even when she somewhat “reformed” herself once she knew about Dallas and crew. It’s unfortunate, but her attitude, her carelessness with secrets and her own safety, how she was willing to continue on even knowing, finally, what was going on. Her drive to succeed at any cost simply drove me away as fast as a wildfire. But. That’s my reaction to Mel, there may be readers who adore her style and personality. For that reason, and that it’s not fair to take stars off of a review because I didn’t like one of the main characters, Outlaw Tiger, does deserve the 4.5 stars I gave it as it certainly is an action-packed, sizzling with sexual chemistry, and secrets, lots of secrets story.

There are a few twists in Dallas’ story that will reveal some parts of the concluding story in this series, Rogue Wolf, while still leaving enough information unknown to make that final story amazing. I enjoyed the glimpses of the “brotherhood” that these shifters have developed over time, each is unique and I’ve loved getting to know them and their mates. There are heartbreaking moments as well as we learn just how Dallas came to be at the ranch. And we get a bit more about those underground monsters… who just might not be as we’ve been thinking as true monsters.

I enjoyed my time back in this world and would recommend Outlaw Tiger and the Texas Dragons series to any reader who loves Paranormal Romance, intense storylines, some laughter, some tears, and a whole lot of action.

I own a Kindle edition of this title.

This is a wonderful read, great addition to the series of books
Dallas was raised on Dragonclaw ranch where he has grown up knowing his identity and his capabilities which is very important when you are born a shifter, especially important when you are a giant Tiger Shifter that has all of the abilities and capabilities of a Tiger with the intelligence and calculating capabilities of a human a deadly combination if used in conjunction with each other for this purpose.
When he meets Mel a reporter who is trying to discover if there are such thing as shifters, she is a very capable and determined female and will do anything to discover the truth behind a story and unfortunately Dallas’s Tiger knows that she is his “Mate” and will do anything to ensure her safety.
Mel is chasing the break she needs to make her name in broadcasting and unbeknown to her there are those that will do anything to ensure the truth never sees the light of day no matter what silencing the story takes. Mel realises that it is no coincidence that once again the handsome and extremely attractive Dallas has rescued her and her reporter intuition tells her that this is much more than just good fortune, being in the right place at the right time etc….
She is pulled in several directions as she sees the way in which Dallas ensures those around him are kept safe and protected, something she has never really known before and she realises that she is more that just a little bit interested in getting to know him a whole lot better.
Will Dallas feel the same, read this story to the end and discover for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!!
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Still going strong with one more to go in this series

Wow! This one really heats up when tall, handsome and silent Dallas is tasked with keeping an eye on a reporter in town to look into reports of monsters rising from the ground! Mel is very curious about life in the country and really believes that there is more out there than what is normally seen. Dallas has never dealt with anyone like her before! The twists and turns in this story are phenomenal. I can't wait to see what happens in the next one!

The pace is breakneck and the tone is uncertain yet hopeful with a character and action oriented storyline that has some steamy scenes. The characters are vivid and engaging. I love seeing them all work together. Read these books in order and enjoy!

Spoiler alert: There is a slight connection to Terry Bolryder's other dragon series, so I think I will add this to the bunch. The Double Dragons show up here. So if you haven't read those yet, you might want to. Then there are tons of others that follow after that series/box set. After the Double Dragons, you can read the Tiger Protectors box set, the Awakened Dragons box set, Rent-a-Dragon box set, Date-a-Dragon box set, Awakened Sea Dragons box set, Dragon Guards of Drakkaris box set, Nightmare Dragons series, Frozen Dragons series, Club Crimson series, Bad Dragons series, Forgotten Dragons series, Wings Wands and Soul Bonds series, Reclaimed Dragons series, and the Rogue Far series are also in this world and most of them follow in order, so read them like I described here. You have a lot of catching up to do if you are just discovering Terry Bolryder!

Reporter trying to prove shifters exist, meets mate assigned to stop her …

Although this could probably be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend the series be read in order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters and an overarching theme.

Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence such as kidnapping, torture, assault, fighting with some to the death, etc.

⛔️ if you have not read any of the previous stories, this may contain spoilers.

Last chance …

There are a few grammatical issues. I mention this because when I read, it is like a movie plays in my mind. When there is an issue (i.e. missing word, incorrect tense, typo, etc.), it stops and the flow is disrupted.

Dallas was found as a child living on the streets by Harrison. He has spent the rest of him life on the Dragonclaw Ranch. He gives Harrison credit for being the closest thing he has to a father, so when he asks him to watch a reporter and keep her from get proof that shifters are real, he readily agrees. Then he meets her and his Tiger just keeps saying mate … mate … mate.

Mel is a reporter that finally gets an assignment that could prove that the supernatural does exist like she believes. She travels to a small Texas town with a cranky, good for nothing cameraman to interview people that may have some proof. Then she gets there and the video is grainy and dark, she is almost attacked in a dark alley and then finally almost ran over by a car!!! Why does it seem like something or someone is trying to keep her from this story?

This is book 4 in the Texas Dragons series and what a book it is. I have been waiting for Mr. Tall, dark, silent and secretive Dallas. This book really delves into Dallas's past and it really adds a couple of surprising twists to this book. Loved that!
In this book, Harrison approaches Dallas, seems he's got word of a journalist (Mel) coming to town to see if the rumors about shifters and Basilisks were true. If they were she wants to be the one to release this information to the world. Harrison asked Dallas to shadow her and make sure that didn't happen. Mel is a die hard journalist. She never gives up on a story until she has questioned every reliable and some unsavory sources. But regardless she'll trudge on. Twice, Mel found herself in a dangerous position where she could get seriously hurt or worse. And twice this absolutely beautiful, handsome, tall, hot and muscular Adonis came to her rescue. So, why is he always around? How is he always around? Doesn't he work? How is he so unnaturally strong and so incredibly fast? And why does this little town have so many weird unanswered questions?
The answers are right at your fingertips. Yep right in this book. But don't start the series here, book one is where you need to begin this series. It will be so much more entertaining and enjoyable. Plus, why take a taste of your of your favorite dessert when you can have a full serving? And remember, if you want to read a book you can't put down, you have to pick it up first. So, five stars, nope...🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Dallas & Mel

The ranch had been his home the people his family since he was a kid when Harrison found and took him in. He owed them. When he was asked to watch the reporter who could create problems for them and all shifters he promised to handle it. Little he realize the handling he wanted to do was the reporter. His mate. Now he had an even harder problem.

She'd wanted to be a real reporter for so long. This was her big chance for a real story. She wasn't sure she believed in shapeshifters or monsters but something was sure going on. Dallas seemed to be there to help show her around and he was great company. When threats made it dangerous and her co-worker left her alone Dallas was there.

He knew she was his mate but not how to make her understand without giving away the secret all shifters had to keep. Who did he owe the most loyalty to--Mel or his ranch family?

There is lots of trouble, danger present and past, as well as loyalty to his family and mate. It wasn't going to be easy to handle this.

I love the back story for Dallas, the new character added to their lives and perhaps problems. There is plenty of steam, action, and emotions. For fans of the author's dragons, we visit some old friends who tease us with a new set of issues. I'm loving this series. Ready for more.

Dallas and Mel - a sweet, suspenseful shifter romance

I love cats and tigers are my favorite of the big cats. So give me a tiger shifter who is also a cowboy, that is book boyfriend perfect and Dallas - phew, he’s dreamy. This is book 4 in the Texas Dragons series. I love damaged big hearted heros and the strong women who love them. Because of the darkness and violence in which he was raised, Dallas keeps to himself and rarely speaks. He believes he’s dangerous and unworthy but he loves his found family on the Dragonclaw Ranch and is loyal to them. Mel is a reporter sent to the small town in Texas because of reports of shifters and the supernatural. Dallas is tasked with watching Mel and making sure she does not uncover their secret. This leads to them spending time together and Dallas recognizing her as his mate. On the way to their HEA, Dallas and Mel experience sweet moments, strong families, sexy times, dangerous situations, and loving shifter families. Expect to feel all the feels. There is growth for both the main characters, though much more for Dallas than Mel, as he lets his past and his belief about his inherent nature go in order to embrace a new loving relationship and their future together. Like in the other books in this series, the mystery of the basilisks is continued and more is revealed. I will definitely keep reading more of this series.

Love the Strong Silent Type

Dallas has always been the quiet one and I wondered how his love story would go. Thankfully for him, his mate has no problem keeping the conversation going. Plus, Mel is able to read his facial expressions like no one else.

Mel is a reporter who is hoping that this story she’s working on will be the big break that she needs. She has no idea what she is about to uncover. And there are a lot of powerful individuals that want to make sure that she doesn’t reveal the secret world of the shifters.

Meanwhile, Dallas is sticking by her side to try to prevent her from finding out too much. His tiger recognizes Mel to be their mate before Dallas gets it. Once he finally acknowledges it, nothing will stand in his way from claiming the woman he loves.

I like the fact that this book provides some back story as to Dallas‘ origin. It gave me some insight as to why Dallas was the way he was. And Mel was a POC! Thanks Ms. Bolryder for the representation!

I am loving these western style shifter romances. And with the way this one ended, I am so ready to read the next one!

Dallas the tiger shifter, raised by the Dragonclaw dragons, meets his mate and a shifted basilisk too.

When a reporter, Mel, comes to their area to find out about shifters,Dallas is given the job of watching over her and blunting her investigation whenever possible. But the longer he is with her the more he likes her, and his tiger keeps growling. "Mate". Then the assassin group that created and tried to train him as a child show up, and try to kill Mel by using her as bait for catching a basilisk. They want the basilisk to attack a nearby town and kill the inhabitants, starting a war between shifters and humans. Dallas and his friend Reno and a new friend ,a shifter basilisk, stop the captured basilisk and most of the assassins there, and Harrison and Clancy, their dragon friends, show up just in time to stop the reinforcements and trap all of the assassins for the shifter version of cops, two black dragons. There is a bunch of political stuff but there is a happy ending for the shifter basilisk as well as Dallas and Mel.

Outlaw Tiger is the fourth book the Terry Bolryder’s Texas Dragons series. It is a fantastic paranormal romance filled with interesting characters, a great storyline and a happily ever after.

I have been waiting for this story since the start of this series. There is just something about the strong silent type that make for the best stories. Dallas and Mel’s story did not disappoint. Bolryder does a fantastic job writing Dallas’ story and explaining his upbringing and his struggles before coming to Dragonclaw Ranch. The chemistry between Dallas and Mel was amazing and I truly enjoyed watching how they slowly opened their hearts to each other despite the secrets and dangers that surrounded them. I can’t wait to read Reno’s book and if I’m not mistake I see the possibility of a new series in the works. So excited!!

If you have been following this series then you know there are many secrets at Dragonclaw ranch not the least of them been Dallas. The quite tiger shifter never has much to say always watching from the shadows but also ready to protect his adopted family Now we get his back story and find out just how dangerous and deadly he is For this reason he never believes he will have a mate after all who would want to be with a "Killer". Then Mel a reporter arrives in town determined to get to the bottom of stories of huge animals that come out of the ground and other animals that shift into humans Dallas is tasked with following her to make sure she doesn't get any evidence the only problem is his tiger is screaming mate every time she is close When his past and the basilisks both coming into play it will take both him and his crew to keep her safe With a surprise visit from the double dragons we get a visit from another series. Another fun read that flows well always a pleasure to read

Best of the set

Read the previous 3 books first. This resolves some mysteries and introduces some more. Dallas history is introduced and the broader world enters this story but the Family remains strong. I loved Dallas’s story. He is so innocent and inexperienced with people but so loved by his dragon family. I particularly enjoyed the growing relationship between a quiet man Dallas and a reporter Mel. Mel is the catalyst for the growing crisis but she doesn’t become a victim. She remains a strong independent character. The problem was larger then the villains in the past but so was the solution. Terry Bolryder has created a world of fantasy based on real places and real emotions. She has created a consistent reality for her shifters that is interwoven throughout her books. I always read her dragon stories because they are the best, and her folklore is consistent from each book. Can’t wait for Reno’s book and more about the basilisk.

What a book should be!

Outlaw Tiger: Texas Dragons Book 4
By Terry Bolryder
First off tigers are not born they are made. At that you get more of an idea of what has really happened to Dallas before he found his way onto Dragonclaw Ranch. It's his turn to find his mate and she is made for him in every way possible.
Each book in this series is a look into life on the ranch and how each of the men living there find their mate. I recommend reading this series in order. But if for some reason you have NEVER read a Terry Bolryder book do some research and start at the beginning because her books are all tied together somehow.
Cowboy Dragon
Rancher Dragon
Wrangler Dragon
Outlaw Tiger
Rogule Wolf
The Basilisk's story continues in Big Bad Basilisks Book 1 when Gunnar finds his mate.

What a great addition to this series! I’ve always loved the strong silent type and Dallas is that and so much more! I loved how he had such a protective streak! He was so loyal to his family at Dragonclaw which was just amazing! I’m so happy that Harrison took him in when he was a kid! He definitely had a touching backstory! I absolutely adored him! I wasn’t quite sure about Mel at first but it didn’t take long for her to grow on me. I really liked that she didn’t mind Dallas’s quietness and just seemed to know what he was trying to say without words. Such a sweet story! I’ve loved this whole series but this just might be my favorite! Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend! Received arc and am voluntarily leaving an honest review

Outlaw Tiger by Terry Bolryder
Texas Dragons #4

“And if anyone or anything dared come for his mate again, he’d show them exactly how vengeful a tiger could be.”

Now I had a feeling that Dallas book was going to be something else, his story to me almost needed to be told. He is a very unique man and his story is no different. I loved getting to know this meme bet of the Dragonclaw Ranch touching base with the others again as well.

Dallas grown up alone, and his upbringing and time spent on the street has definitely played a part is who he is today, especially when he meet Harrison. Ever since the day they meet Dallas has always been loyal to his family, to the people that took him in and understood him for who he is. So when he’s given a mission to protect them and their secret by following a reporter he takes it with both hands.

Mel has always been curious about things and loves to investigate things until she knows that truth. So when she’s given the chance to explore the rumours of large beast popping up out of the ground and people shape shifting in to animals she’s over the moon. She just doesn’t expect to things to go the way they do and have a local have to save her life, or that he might just be one of the shifters she’s here to investigate.

I absolutely love this series and I can’t wait to read Reno book next, that alpha wolf has a story to tell

He’s known as an Outlaw🐅

Outlaw Tiger is book four in the Texas Dragons series and finally answers all our questions about the mysterious tiger known as Dallas😁 Harrison asks him to keep an eye on a reporter who’s coming into town, in the hopes of finding out more about the “monsters” that have been coming out when it rains😳 Unfortunately, Dallas is unable to keep his distance from Mel because she is constantly in danger and secondly, it appears his tiger has found his mate😍

A wonderful, action packed story that I really enjoyed…I can’t wait to find out what Reno’s conversation with the double dragons🐉 was about😉 I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review❤️

Oooh Loved It!!!

Oh wow this was epic, Dallas finding his mate and a reporter no doubt who wanted to do a story on the supernatural. But Dallas past caught up with him, something he feared all along and know what it would entail. I love and respect Mel,, she too took it well although running from the that brought her into a whole heap of shifter trouble😏. Once again the Double Dragons appeared, but all is well for now cause I think something bigger is coming and if all hi involves our dear Alpha Wolf Reno..can't wait to read his story. Always a pleasure reading your books Terry..big fan as always Winzie19 🤗💞.

Good story for Dallas

This is book 4 and it’s another good addition to the series. This book is the story of Dallas, the big Tiger, and the news reporter Mel. It was interesting to get the background on Dallas. The more I learn the more I like Harrison. He is just such a kind hearted leader and taking in the shifters that need help and footing to be good. This story focuses on the various types of relationships good, bad, and indifferent. Also we meet the Basilick. I read out of order, and read the Basilick’s book fist, but it’s still interesting to learn how all the shifters came together to work together. Read On!

Strong, silent type...Dallas is the best.

Dallas escorts Mel around to "help" her find out more for her story on shifters. Protecting her from wolves and cheetahs wasn't part of the job, but if it keeps her close, he'd sign up again in a heartbeat. His creators wanted him to be a fierce fighter, a weapon for their cause. For her, he will turn into that beast and destroy them all. On the sidelines most of his life, he has finally found someone who really sees the beautiful, sweet person he is and cozies up to him every chance she gets. Now, how to tell her he's a tiger and she's his mate?

Dallas is the quiet one at the Dragonclaw Ranch. He watches and protects. Mel is a reporter from the city chasing rumors of monsters. Little did Mel know what she was getting herself into taking on this story.
I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't go into details. That being said I loved it. I loved Dallas and Mel, the romantic story, the general story arc of this particular series and the Easter eggs for longtime Terry Bolryder readers. This story just gave me warm fuzzies and put a smile on my face. I can't wait to hear more about Reno.

Dallas may not be a dragon but he is one amazing Tiger.

So many exciting things went on in this book. Origins, secrets, exciting new strangers, and a whole lot more. I loved that Dallas' ingrained personality trait to protect others is shown repeatedly in this story. Mel is an OK character, but I think the Dragonclaw crew, the basilisk, and a new duo (I really hope they get a book) really bring this story to life. I inhaled this story and can't wait to find out about the outcome of a certain clandestine conversation.

Grab this book and enjoy!

Tiger burning bright

Outlaw Tiger is well worth the time it takes to read it. It is full of romance, intrigue and action. I recommend that you read the series in order first even though it is a standalone book.
Dallas is a tiger shifter who is asked to observe. The reporter in town. Mel is a reporter and is there to prove that there are strange happenings and shifters. She also stumbles into the mystery in the area.

I had a hard time putting this ,story down. Come enter the world of Dragonclaw Ranch and the people who call it home.

I thought this was another entertaining entry in this shifter cowboy series. This is Dallas and Mel's story. I thought Dallas was an incredibly swoon worthy hero. His quietness, loyalty and caring just melted me into a puddle and my heart just ached for him. As for Mel, I thought she was OK but I can't say I loved her and if I'm 100% honest, I would have liked Dallas to have a mate that was more deserving of him. I found Mel's drive to succeed off-putting. Her willingness to put that over everything else irked me. So While I enjoyed this book, the heroine got a big nope from me.

Dallas gets his mate

What found most interesting about Dallas and Mel's story was how little Dallas actually talked in the while book. Mel carried on most of the conversation because Dallas is not much on talking. I was also glad to see the true baslisk were in this story. I believe the will be a part of their crew now. At least they really seem to help out Mel and Dallas. Was sad that Gary wasn't in then story more just because he cracks me up. Dallas faced some demons as his old family showed up. Fate wins again.
