Major is a Southern California native who currently lives in Northern California with his wife and editor, Judy. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys writing fiction based on actual history, as well as children's books and contemporary romance.
Best described as a “nice guy,” Major Mitchell is a former pastor, and credits his writing abilities to eight years of writing sermons three times a week. (In truth, he actually began by writing and illustrating comic books as a child). His conversational style immediately engages the reader. He has developed an uncanny eye for detail, while creating characters believable enough for the reader to feel that they know them. His ability to create tension will have you turning page after page.
A member of Western Writers of America and a frequent guest speaker at historical meetings and schools on the West Coast, he has also written several songs, recorded a CD of traditional country/folk music, and occasionally takes the stage as a singer. He lives with his wife Judy and their dog Molly in Northern California.

Major Mitchell is the author of thirteen novels, including Canyon Wind, an epic novel of life in the South Dakota Badlands circa 1880, and the Dusty Boots in Texas series, among others. He has also written three children’s books.

Great storyline! This book is perfect size for an afternoon read. There’s action, criminal activity and some romance. Being a Christian novel, I did write down some scripture verses to look up. Child trafficking is a harsh topic filled with tears and anger that it could happen in your city. The story is a five-star but with some edit problems, I could only give it four. Sorry, maybe some updates will be added to Kindle books.

The book deserves a much higher rating for the cover alone! But the story doesn't include the development of the hero to match the cover. The story itself is good but the editing is very poor. Many misspelled words and the story line gets repeated at one point that doesn't make sense. A good mystery with great witnessing and prayers.

Badly needs an editor

Many grammar/spelling mistakes plus even a bad problem at one point with plot sequencing. Also a certain lack of credibility when the detective supposedly hit a wall. This must have been rushed to print and or reliant on spell check instead of an actual editor.

Finding Grace

This was an interesting story. Grace came up missing and Marti hired Chase to find her.Grace was abducted when she had car trouble. She stopped at this garage and was drugged. Case had a difficult time finding her but he did. Enjoy their journey.

This story is hard to take its human trafficking. It's about a mother trying to find her daughter
GRACE. Marti hires a pi to look for her daughter and how the case ebbs and flows.

It’s a God thing.

Having a plan for Life is a great thing, unless you are kidnapped and no longer have control.Finding a lost daughter was part of the job,but finding one lost led to having a Family. A Family that trusted in God.
