Together Forever

I can't help but love this series! This starts with a "What just happened?" and ends with many broken and destroyed items and plenty of laughter and love. It is kind of spectacular! 🔥🔥🎉🌟😂🍾🔥🔥

Back to the beginning. While I suspected something along those lines early on as a twist, I'd forgotten about my suspicion by the time it hit at the end of book five and was thrown for quite the loop. Rialta at the church like that was crazy and what happened next was in keeping with the theme.

Now, in the final installment of Ri and Beckett's story there are some surprises, the permanent downing of an enemy (it was really kind of awesome and definitely better than deserved), and a setup for the next series. Just when things got gooooood 🔥💜🔥🎉🔥, I realized I was only halfway through the book. I swear, Ella Miles was trying to send me into cardiac arrest with what came next. Just oh. My. God! 😱😳 If you can handle dark, you really need to read this!

The books in the Retribution Games series must be read in order but you don't need to read the other series in the Truth or Lies world. This world, including the Retribution Games series, is full of dark and gritty events, a lot of them, but there are also some magnificent moments. There's heart, love, forgiveness, loyalty, sizzling chemistry, and so much more. This particular series has been my favorite so far!

I put off reading "Dangerous Princess", the sixth book of Ella Miles' "Retribution Games" series for as long as I could, and then once I started there was no slowing down or stopping. Ms. Miles creates a momentum that continually builds and sucks me in every time with her storyline and characters. This book starts exactly where book five, 'Tortured Hero' ended and what a journey I was taken on. I can't even begin to give you a brief synopsis because once I start I'll want to tell you everything. Trust me when I say this is a must-read and I can't wait to see where she take me next.

Outstanding conclusion to Ri and Beckett's story!
This couple have been through so many ups and downs, trials and tribulations, battles and wars. Just when I think they have survived and conquered the latest catastrophe, another conflict rises and the chaos begins again.
My heart breaks every time their hearts are broken and they are ripped away from each other. From the moment they met in book 1 until the ending in this book 6, they have faltered between devastation and despair, hope and let downs, love and love lost.
Retribution games was a turbulent and rebellious ride, but it was amazing!

After that bombshell of a cliffhanger in book 5, nothing is as it seems, who really is Ri? And what does it all mean for Beckett? Does another deal mean the end of them forever? Will our Hero get his Queen?
Book 6 concludes Beckett and Ri story just wow what a rode of twists and turns you dont see coming till they hit you straight on! The story draws you in with every ounce of being, the suspense, mystery, forbidden desires, waring within each character drives all the emotions on a wild ride that you don't want to end. A great addition and conclusion to their story and I can't wait to see what Lennox has in store!

This is book six and the conclusion of Beckett and Ri’s story. The ending in book five was unexpected. But with everything that happens in this book is amazing. This was a series that kept you in the edge of your seat and biting your nails. This was an amazing read. All the twists and turns with action, the suspense this is definitely a must read. Looking forward to reading Lennox’s story.

What an ending to Ri and Beckett story! I have so enjoyed the Retribution Games, man what a ton of secrets. Ri and Beckett have not had an easy time trying to get together and finally admit their love for each other. This final book reveals a ton of things they have overcome and how strong not only they are but how never ending their love is.

Beckett & Ri’s Dark Story Comes To An Astonishing End! There Are Secrets & Revelations That Will Change Everything You Think You Know. There Are Danger, Steam, & Plenty Of Angst As The Twists & Turns Keep Coming. It Is An Ending But Also A Beginning As A New Series Is Set Up In The Same World.

ABOUT THE RETRIBUTION GAMES SERIES:

This is the sixth and final book of the Retribution Games series, Beckett and Ri’s story. The series centers around the Retribution Kings as well as the Corsi family and various other players that rule Chicago’s criminal underground. Beckett, a character from the Truth or Lies world, is new to the scene and gets sucked into a power play despite his best efforts to go straight. Beckett and Ri face some hard choices in this book – and the hope of a future together is all but extinguished. The danger is real as they come to grips with their new reality and the prospect of giving up the notion of a happy ending together. Lives are on the line, and some won’t survive. Allegiances are tested, and there will be surprises. The games are over, and the resulting reality begins to take shape.

Fans will be thrilled that Beckett’s brother Enzo Black appears in the story, as do all of the Truth or Lies world family in a satisfactory happy ending that brings the gang together. It ends with the promise of a new series that promises to follow Beckett and Ri’s story seamlessly.

FROM MISTAKEN HERO, BOOK ONE:

Beckett, probably twenty-nine, is ready to give up everything for love. He is a murderer. He deals in weapons and drugs. He met Odette by chance, and he soon found himself head over heels in love. The kindergarten teacher never once looked at him with pity or saw him as anything less because of his missing arm. And her positive outlook combined with her innocence captivated him. A year later, they are marrying. But Beckett doesn’t want to tarnish his bride with his wicked ways or his dark past. He gave that all up when he met her. He got a job in marketing. His friends and family understand; they live in a dangerous world. Being a one-armed man makes him a little unique, though, and he worries about being identified and connected to his life of crime. Beckett doesn’t want it to touch Odette or the children they will have together. He met her while in Chicago on a job. He was meant to take out a target that sells women – Ares, leader of the Phantom Brotherhood. He never did finish the job, that was how fast and hard he fell.

Odette Monroe comes from a normal family and they have welcomed him into their fold. Her ailing father insists on paying for the wedding despite their working-class means. Her father is an engineer and her brother is a loan officer. Though Beckett has been careful to keep his old life and new life completely separate, he still takes great precautions to ensure Odette’s safety. They announce their marriage will take place the day after it is scheduled just to ensure there are no surprises. But something goes awry during the ceremony, and again when their bags are missing in the honeymoon suite. A strange girl runs as if for her life through their ceremony and then reappears later in the lobby covered in blood. Beckett’s paranoia about Odette’s safety has him jumping to the conclusion that the incidents are somehow targeted to him. Whether or not that is the case, he soon finds himself embroiled in as much danger as ever. And when he returns to his suite, Odette is gone. There is only blood. Refusing to give up hope, he sets to work to rescue the love of his life.

Rialta Corsi, twenty, is running from a dangerous man. She is the Princess of Chicago, daughter to Vincent Corsi of the Corsi Crime Family. They rule half the country and have a cut in most criminal organizations. Her father is feared and not to be crossed. She certainly fears him herself. She had been sheltered her whole life, kept from the knowledge of the family business, and not taught the skills she needs to survive in his brutal world. She is just a tool. She has known since she was thirteen that he planned to marry her to make an alliance with the man of his choosing. She doesn’t have options, and she decided her only choice is to run and never stop. She is bleeding badly and needs medical attention, but there is no time for that. As luck would have it she is picked up on State Street and taken against her will to a club. The Phantom Brotherhood plans to sell her, but when their leader recognizes Ri his plans change. By marrying her, Ares can solidify an alliance with the Corsi family. Ri doesn’t want to be forced to marry any man. It is her biggest fear. She longs to feel truly loved by a man, though it seems impossible. But she never shows fear. She is feisty, fierce, and savage. She may or may not be inexperienced, but she knows how to use her body to control men.

When the handsome one-armed groom she saw at the hotel earlier comes to her rescue, things turn in another direction. Hero helps her out of one predicament, but she is still not free. And if returned to her father, she knows what punishment awaits. Still, she cannot help her attraction to Hero – Beckett – the man who seems to think she needs rescuing. And though he is in love with his wife, that devotion makes Ri want him even more. And when he is forced to kiss her, it makes her want to live again. Beckett returns to the hotel with Princess, hoping to clear things up with her father and avoid any blame for what happened. He still doesn’t know from whom Princess was running or why. But when Odette turns up missing and his groomsmen confess to belonging to the Retribution Kings – a group he has never heard of – his whole life turns upside down. Beckett thought he left the life of crime behind him, but it turns out the RK’s had chosen him as their new leader. It is a job he never asked for and doesn’t want. It turns out his chance meeting with Odette was no mistake, and he is now desperately in love with a missing woman who may or may not love him after all. And he hates himself for feeling something for Princess when Odette means everything to him. He is not a cheater.

Beckett is convinced that Princess’s appearance has something to do with Odette’s disappearance, but she refuses to share any information. Someone was probably trying to prevent him from taking over the RK’s, as Beckett’s reputation apparently precedes him. He believes Princess is the key to finding his wife, and though their relationship is uncertain, his love for Odette is real. Meanwhile, the RK’s explain that he will become their full leader only after he finishes his initiation. The four groomsmen nevertheless give him their respect now, and together they work to keep Princess safe from those desperate to capture her while following all leads to Odette. A large portion of the story takes place on the night of Beckett’s wedding. The book ends in a cliffhanger about a week and a half later.

FROM FORBIDDEN PRINCESS, BOOK TWO:

As this book opens, it takes a step back a few days in time to Beckett and the Retribution Kings as they parted ways with Rialta and Vincent Corsi at the Phantom Brotherhood club. Corsi had left evidence for them at HQ showing that Odette had not survived after she was kidnapped. The video showing her being led out of the hotel by two men had given them hope that she could be found alive, so this is devastating news. The accompanying note blames Ares and the Phantom Brotherhood, but none believe it. They all blame Corsi. Beckett vows retribution for Odette, and her father, Monroe, informs him that his initiation will begin soon. Two trials, with the final task being retribution for Odette, after which Beckett becomes king.

Beckett has a plan. He and the RK don’t’ let on to their suspicions. Instead, they help Corsi devise a game that will call a truce to the brewing war in Chicago while allowing Corsi the opportunity to take out some players and choose who to align himself with using Ri as a tool. But they will use Ri as a tool, too. Beckett plans to win the game and Ri’s hand in marriage. From there, he can get Corsi’s empire and destroy everything – the ultimate retribution. What they don’t expect at the announcement of the game is for Rialta to enter herself in the game as well.

The games get off to an interesting start and set the tone for things to come. Thirty-three men signed up to participate for Ri’s hand in marriage, Caius and Beckett included. Unbeknownst to them, though, Rialta has remembered a few of her skills which happen to come in handy. The following week is an emotional one for the Retribution Kings, as Odette’s funeral takes place and they prepare for the shift in power. The initiation rites begin, but Beckett is unprepared for what awaits him. As he enters into RK territory, things aren’t as cut and dry as he had been led to believe, and the group itself seems a bit splintered. He feels the burn and isn’t sure who he will seek retribution against in the end. The book advances the story about two weeks further, probably through July 5th. It closes with a cliffhanger and a devastating twist as Rialta makes yet another deal with her father in order to help Beckett and the RKs.

FROM TEMPTED HERO, BOOK THREE:

As this book opens, Beckett struggles to accept what he saw in the video. He knows he must get retribution for Odette’s death, but he isn’t ready to let go of Rialta just yet. Yet if Rialta is to die, it will be at his hands. He fears that learning about Ri’s part in Odette’s death might trigger Caius and the others to act rashly. In a cautious move, he destroys the video and only tells the others that it wasn’t the evidence that Vincent Corsi had promised. Meanwhile, Ri begins to feel Beckett’s cold shoulder. But as Beckett gives her space, new men enter the picture. Kek terrifies her even more than her own father. She has never been safe from him, and she has suffered from his sadistic tendencies for years. When a mysterious note arrives on her bed reminding her that she has always been his, memories of the man with grey eyes return to her. As he continues to stalk her, it becomes clear that the RKs cannot keep her safe from him any more than her father could.

The games continue in this book, but the danger is ramped up considerably. Ri owes her father favors, which doesn’t help matters at all. Leighton Stone chooses the next game. The confident and charming man hopes to win Ri over. A week later Ri meets Ryker, leader of the Devil Crew, just prior to a new game. Ryker is generous but respectful, but Ri doesn’t trust her own judgment at this point. Throughout the week and a half that passes in this book, Beckett’s hot and cold behavior frustrates Ri, whose protective instincts are challenged by Beckett’s difficult behavior. It seems like they are both on top of the world when they let their chemistry take over, but Beckett always pulls away afterward. Beckett’s fractured trust with the RK has him holding his cards close to the vest. Gabe is the only one he will turn to. This book will take you on a wild ride and settle a few outstanding questions. It will take a big twist right before it ends in a cliffhanger. Book four promises to turn everything upside down as a new reality settles in.

FROM FATAL PRINCESS, BOOK FOUR:

As this book opens, chaos breaks out in the arena. There seems to be a power struggle within the organization. Hayes, Lennox, and Gage help Ri safely escape, while Odette is reunited with Caius and Beckett, her husband. Beckett and Ri both have some deep soul-searching to do in the aftermath. Beckett has unsettled business with the RKs and his wife, and Ri needs an escape, a dose of normal. Ryker, new leader of the Phantom Brotherhood, enters the picture as her new protector while she nurses a broken heart. She wants to understand why Beckett had her fall in love with him when he only ever meant to kill her. She mourns the loss as he returns to Odette. Odette owes everyone an explanation for her disappearance, and she has some rather shocking revelations that place Beckett between a rock and a hard place. His life will forever be changed. Beckett is furious to learn more about Odette’s deception, but he is even angrier that Ri left him with the wrong impression. She had every right to be angry with him; he knew he had handled things badly.

There are politics and deception to deal with as Beckett and Ri individually try to deal with the fallout of the initiation right. Kek also enters the picture as the tensions rise. Beckett reflects on his relationship with Enzo and his family, reflecting on what drove him away from them. Things are not as they seem. Nobody can be trusted. Alliances are formed, and sacrifices are made. There is tragedy to be dealt with as well. A new game brings it all to a dangerous head. This book ends with a devastating cliffhanger that will have you screaming! Book five cannot come fast enough and will be the beginning of the end of this six-part series.

FROM TORTURED HERO, BOOK 5:

As this book opens, Ri must choose two more men to kill. Her choices are revealing, and more truths are learned as a result. One of her choices is questionable in light of what is learned. Some things are not as they seem. Beckett feels Ri slipping through his grips and the hope of a happy ending dissipating, but his loyal men encourage him not to give up. Their challenge is to halt the war against Enzo while also keeping Ri safe from Odette’s wrath. Beckett must walk a tightrope, and to keep her safe, he must keep Ri from discovering his true feelings for her. If he fails and cannot safely leave Odette in time, he will reluctantly plan to win the game and have Ri marry one of his men instead.

When Vincent announces the last game, there is a lot riding for the four remaining men contending for Rialta’s hand in marriage and the chance to inherit the vast Corsi empire. The stakes are high, and the price of losing is almost certainly death. There are two ways to win the final game, and there are no rules. Getting Ri pregnant is one route to winning, which puts her in a precarious situation. The other option, however, is mysteriously left undefined. Beckett struggles on both fronts of his fight, while Ri sees the culmination of all her efforts approaching. With her memories intact, she and Vincent are back on the same page and she understands her role. Like Beckett, she knows that they can never have a future together. This book ends in more revelations amidst the ever-increasing danger. Their tumultuous story ends in the next book, Dangerous Princess.

IN THIS BOOK:

As this book opens, the games have ended and war has broken out. The Retribution Kings, under Odette’s direction, are determined to take out Beckett’s brother, Enzo Black, and the Black Organization. Almost too good to be true, Ri has chosen Beckett as the winner of the Retribution Games and he is asked to meet her at the altar. Vincent asks him to guard his daughter, Rialta, with his life before giving Beckett her hand. But Beckett gets the surprise of his life when he lifts the veil to find not Ri, but the mysterious woman he helped her save. As it turns out, Rialta Corsi had been in hiding for years due to the attempts on her life. She is Vincent’s last remaining family and he could not bear losing her, so he sent her away to grow up in safety. That wasn’t’ before five-year-old River helped save little Rialta’s life. River was just a year or two older than Rialta and had been raised in foster care before Vincent Corsi took her in and the girls became best friends. When Vincent later sent Rialta away, he groomed River to step into her shoes to keep danger diverted from the real Rialta. Kek helped to train her, and the hypnosis even convinced River that she really was Rialta. She had become like a daughter to Vincent over the years, but her role had always been clear: to protect Rialta.

Ri’s heart breaks as she watches Beckett and Rialta, but she always knew what her job was and what the result would be. Beckett is the best man to marry Rialta, of that she is convinced. She settles into her new role as protector of Rialta, a role that has her living with the new happy couple. Beckett had been thrilled to finally marry the woman he loves, and the idea of another loveless marriage doesn’t sit well with him. Rialta is lovely, but she simply is not the Ri he fell in love with. Corsi leaves Beckett without a choice in the matter, so he must go along unless and until he can find a way out. The problem is, there doesn’t seem to be any solution that ensures everyone’s safety if he chooses to go back on his promise to Vincent Corsi. The suspense builds as the series comes to its dramatic end. There are shocking surprises along the way, but the couple eventually finds a happy ending.

The Retribution Kings, a new series, continues with the Chicago-based line of characters back in a new story.

Wow! The first half of this book introduces the real Rialta Corsi whose story will follow in the upcoming Retribution Kings series. This book will also unveil her romantic interest, but to share that here would be a huge spoiler. Suffice it to say that there are a lot of unexpected twists and turns, so I strongly suggest you avoid all mention of the next series until having finished reading this book. If you’ve read this far, you will want to read this book spoiler-free. The second half of the book gets serious as Beckett and Ri face danger and betrayal. Things look dire, and lives are on the line. It all comes together in the end, however, with a lovely HEA that brings the old gang – as well as the new gang – together.

Beckett and Ri’s dark story comes to an astonishing end. There are secrets and revelations that will change everything you think you know. There are danger, steam, and plenty of angst as the twists and turns keep coming, providing all the surprises fans have come to expect. It is an ending but also a beginning as a new series is set up in the same world. Both Beckett and Rialta must battle themselves to deny the true depth of their feelings for one another as they work through the dangers that face them. Their story is nicely written. It is plot-driven, with devastating twists and turns that sock you in the gut. Sometimes the technicalities are left unexplained, but they can be reasonably deduced. Occasionally the reader must suspend belief, as some outcomes are too convenient. The characters are nicely developed. They are occasionally excessively dramatic. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Beckett and Ri. I rate this book 4.5 stars.

I have to say that I am sad this series is over ☹. I tried to take my time reading this last one, but I just couldn’t do it! Once I started reading, I had to stay up and finish it! Ella Miles has this way of drawing you into her stories – I feel like I am right there in the scene – I can visualize everything she is describing and I can feel all the emotions of the characters. This book picks up right where the last one left off and we find out that the Ri is actually River and has been protecting the real Rialta all her life. I don’t want to give anything away – but you have to read this series! River and Beckett are my favorite characters thus far. They are both so hero-like, and they will protect those they love/care about.

If you love action, drama, deception, and betrayal, then you will not be disappointed with this story. Once again, my emotions were all over the place. There are some twists that I didn’t see coming, but definitely were welcomed! Great characters, great story. I love how strong Ri stayed throughout this series (unless it involved Beckett!) and I love how crazy and insane Beckett went over Ri. I also cannot wait for the next series to come out involving the real Rialta and Lennox. The ending is the perfect setup for the next book. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. Ella Miles is one of my favorites and she never disappoints!

This author is the queen of plot twists and my god what a twist. I did not see this coming and I freaking loved it! I can’t give anything away, it would ruin it for you. Just know that you will be taken on a wild ride full of lust, love and commitment. Will these two ever get their HEA or will they keep tap dancing around each other? All it takes are those three little words, but when you live the life they do, love takes trust and with the unknown trust is not easy. Amazing series, loved this book and can’t wait for what’s coming next.

This is the last book in the series and the end of Beckett and Ri's story. The problem is, that after five books of drawn out action, violence, secrets and misdirection the ending felt chaotic and rushed. The story was compelling and I care about both Beckett and Ri, but the violence in their relationship felt unbelievable. They have sex when they're in danger and it's not safe, they roll around in broken glass instead of getting on a couch and they hurt each other. Not like BDSM but like actual violence with knives and fists. I understand that they are supposed to be tough but physically fighting and hurting each other isn't my vision of love.

This book is full of misdirection as to who is alive and who is dead, who is loyal and who isn't. It begins to feel like the author just tried to throw every possibility in so that this would feel more suspenseful. And yet, several things were left unexplained such as what happened with Beckett's brother. This does not end up tied into a neat little bow.

I read the three previous series by this author that were related to this one - Enzo and Kai, Zeke and Siren and Langston and Liesel. This one brings them in briefly, but not enough for us to know how their lives are going other than they're still not safe. The antics in this series felt very similar including fake deaths, misguided loyalty, massive violence, people who are beaten up but suddenly fine, and fake identities. Just because you sedate someone, it doesn't make the beating any less real. Why not use a fake cast, fake splint or makeup instead?

Overall, it's a good series with compelling characters but it should have been shortened into one or two longer books instead of six short ones. I know this is a way to sell books, but it also drags the story along and makes it necessary to create more twists which just feel too convoluted after a while. The author does a good job of setting things up for her next story, which will be about Lennox, however if it's yet another extended series I don't think I'll be reading it. I've had enough twists, hateful secrets and violent love to last me a while.

**I received a review copy of this book in exchange for an honest voluntary review. All opinions are my own and not influenced by my source.**

I've really enjoyed Beckett and Ri's story. They have insane chemistry with each other and it's so obvious why they should be together. I love any scene they share together. For me, their story follows the same thrills and will-they-won't-they themes I adored in the very first Truth or Lies Series.

I also liked that the plot was always moving, particularly in this book. There are lots of twists and turns and you never know who you can trust from the other characters. It makes for an exciting read. I thought the ending seemed a little rushed though; however, nothing seemed underdeveloped at the same time.

This book was a great way to wrap up the series but at the same time, leave the reader excited for the next spin-off series. I really thought that this was going to be the last series set in this world but I'm excited to return to it for the next one!

This is book six and the final book in The Retribution Games and it continues Beckett and Ri's story and it is definitely a must read. When Beckett arrives at the church he has the biggest shock when his bride arrives so now some way he will have to delay the wedding so that it will give him time to see what is going on and how to fix it. Ri is absolutely devastated and broken by what has happened but she has no choice other than to play along with the plan even if it kills her or it would have all been for nothing. I couldn't put this book down as it took you in right from the start and kept your attention and on the edge of your seat until the last page and it was so addictive. There are twists and turns along the way and also some surprises which is just what you would expect from Ella Miles who is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and there are lots of suspense and action and you find yourself holding your breath waiting to see what would happen next. Just remember that these books are not standalone and you will need to read book one though to this one but they are definitely worth reading.

I definitely recommend to get this amazing series you won't be disappointed I loved this story, so much happens Odette & Retribution Kings cause alot of drama but she'll get hers in the end.
I loved the chemistry between Ri & Beckett they are truly crazy with each other the secondary characters were great also I'm so looking forward to next book in series "LENNOX & RIALTA'S" story.

Emotional roller coaster whiplash, and an oh so satisfying series end
Dangerous Princess (Retribution Kings Book 6) by Ella Miles is a fast paced, pulse pounding, breath stealing and grippingly suspenseful conclusion of this spellbinding dark romance series.
Whiplash is an apt description for the series as a whole but especially for the conclusion as the author lulls the reader into a false sense of security only to pull a fast one and tilt everyone off their axis. The characters remain true to themselves and each other and of course I was absolutely rooting for them to the very end.
While the plot of this author’s books/series are very twisted, the expected outcome of resolution for the series can be counted on. Ella Miles totally delivered for Beckett and Ri. Also true to form for this author, the creative door is left open for the next series. A new character is introduced and an enemies to lovers vibe for more dark, twisted, dangerous and deadly suspense is set up to come.
Overall, Beckett and Ri are tested, but their vows of Together, Forever hold up under the pressures, emotional havoc and deadly danger and the possibilities of all things HEA prevail.

Exhilerating Finale

This is the finale book of the Retribution Games & this series is my absolute favorite written by Ella Miles. With Beckett & Ri, they continue with the Retribution Games with Rialta's hand in marriage as the prize for the winner of these games. What follows will be the "Oh my god", "wow", "unbelievable" phrases when you are wrapped into this story. The surprises, the twists, the sacrifices, the lovers torn apart, the sizzling chemistry ... everything is thrown at you, leaving you breathless & not really knowing where Beckett & Ri will end up. There are bonus cameo's from characters in other series who play an important role too!

I can't say enough of how amazing & riveting this story-line is. This is one of the best story-endings I've ever read. I suggest to start reading book 1 in order to really appreciate how Ella Miles ties all the loose ends into a neatly bowed box with a HEA. You will be blown away! 100% guaranteed!

What a rollercoaster! There are so many twists and turns, that it is hard to write a review without giving anything away. When we start this story, you are ready to find out what the heck is going on after the cliffhanger of book 5. I do have to say that this story had more "what just happened" moments than I have read in a really long time. Usually with too many twists somethings get lost, I think this story had so much to resolve that Ella did a good job wrapping up most things. My only complaint was I wanted more explanations for some of the surprises that we see at the very end. Even though this is the last story in this series, I feel like we will be reading more about Beckett and Ri as the ending has just set up the next series. At this point I am ok with the lack of explanation for some of the events that took place. I cannot wait to read about our next Retribution Games hero and heroine. If you are looking for a wild ride, I mean crazy wild then you will love this series!

WOW!

There are several reader alerts about this book: First: It's the last in the series and you MUST read them all and in order! Second: It's the last in the series and you'll have all your questions answered, even if they surprise you! Third: It's the last in the series and you'll be sad to see it end, but eager for the next series to start. Fourth: You'll have to set aside time and hide out because you won't be able to stop reading once you start!

This has been an amazing series and this is an amazing book. So many twists and turns, you won't know what to expect. So fast paced, don't expect to be able to stop and come back to it later. There aren't any slow moments or breaks from the intensity. I've loved the characters, and the story and the romance and all the surprises. Highly recommend this series. If you've been waiting until the series finished, this is the time to read from cover to cover (and I might just do that). Excellent!

This was by far the best one of the series!! Ri and Beckett have been though so much that this ending was all the more satisfying. This is probably my favorite of all of Ella Miles series. I was hooked from the very beginning and it never let go. These were my favorite characters, not only Ri and Beckett but also Lennox, Gage, and Hayes. The story line was so unique and unexpected. I have no idea how Ella Miles thinks of all these things because I never saw most of that coming! The angst was off the charts in Dangerous Princess. It was captivating, riveting and a thrilling ride right up till the last page. I read it in a day because I couldn't put it down!
I'm glad we'll be getting to see more of these characters with Lennox's story coming up next.
I would definitely recommend Dangerous Princess and highly recommend the whole Retribution Games series!

OMG, Ella has done it again. This final book between Ri and Beckett was heartbreaking, exciting, steamy, and definitely shocking. I was surprised at a lot of the events that happened and the way people acted. I was extremely shocked at how Ryker acted in this book because he previously had tried to protect Ri but then all of a sudden turned against her. And I was surprised that Ri had been playing a role for almost her whole life as well. I don't know who Ella comes up with this content but she somehow always finds a way to make it all make since in the end. I am happy Ri and Beckett got the ending that they did, even though they had to go through hell to get it. I can't wait for Lennox's story and am excited to see what happens next!

I enjoyed some aspects of this series: the constant plot twists, the fact that the Hero had only one arm and was still badass and desirable, the fact that the heroine was badass herself (albeit annoying due to her constant deceptions).

But reading their story over the course of 6 books was insane, overdrawn and unnecessary. I feel like some of the plot should have been saved for future books, some of the ideas felt repeated with slight changes.. sooo much back and forth it was enraging.

It's never a good sign for me when I feel like skimming by the 3rd book. I love a good mafia story, love the idea of different criminal organizations etc. But this missed the mark by book 3 unfortunately. Maybe I'm just a duet and trilogy type of gal, this is the 2nd series I've read with 6 installments that I didn't enjoy. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Who knows.

You will be wiped out after reading this book. Awesome. Powerful drama and action. Ri and Beckett have been through so much this series. Kidnapping, beatings, torture, a tornado of action and drama, fear of eminent death, killing, betrayal, mafia bosses getting revenge on each other, and Ri and Beckett loving each other with a fierceness of 1000 lifetimes. It’s one of those books that you think you know how it’s going to end, but this book has got so many plot twists. Who is going to die, who is going to live, who can Ri and Beckett really trust? An absolutely fantastic, phenomenal, superb ending to the series. Ready for the next book. Ella Miles really knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. A page turning drama. Spectacular.

This is a book that I've craved to get to so that I could finally find the truth behind all the twists and turns that books 1-5 kept giving us. The characters of Becket and Ri were a perfect combination of love, hate, attraction and necessary secrets. I hope Ella Miles has another series like this in the works because now that I have finished, I feel like I have lost an old friend. Knowing that there was "always another book" weeks away for me to read gave me the kind of comfortable anticipation like you might get knowing you have a best friend that you only get to see occasionally. This author is one of my favorite because of works like this!

4.5 Stars!! This is the last and final book in the Retribution series and it does not disappoint. The two main characters, Ri and Beckett, have been put through the ringer. So much drama, angst and action pact in just one book! There are lots of twists and turns and frankly I am not sure how the author thinks all this stuff up. This book is a page turner trying to figure out if they will live or die. Who can they really trust? This one has a great ending and makes you look forward to reading more from Ella Miles.

WOW! Talk about a rollercoaster ride of emotions with lots of twist and turns. I loved this series with Ri and Beckett. Their chemistry was off the wall hot. Talk about not knowing who you can trust or not. Ella has woven this long story elegantly (well maybe that isn’t the best word for this type of book). However, I thought the ending was rushed but for the most part gave you all the important information. I was left wanting to know a few things but unfortunately I don’t wanna say cuz it’ll give some a important stuff away in the book. No spoilers here…
I’m excited to read the next series!

Dangerous Princess is epic finale to the Retribution Kings Series. Beckett and RI story continues with surprises, revelations, secrets, lies, deception, surprising twists and turns, danger, violence, angst, suspense and love. There were answers to all questions leading up to the conclusion. The story was beautifully written with extraordinary characters and plot driven with complexities and many twists and turns and twisted characters that suck you into the story and keep you riveted and guessing who is good or bad.

What an ending! Ri and Beckett did not have it easy, not even in this book and more importantly how many Ri's are there??!

I liked this one and was constantly surprised by the turn of events. I even shedded a few tears in the first half and hoped with my fingers crossed for them to have a HEA! Though this was amazing and full of fight and emotions, I did expect something more grand...you know?

Overall, not as perfect as my Zeke & Siren (my OTP forever), Beckett and Ri are definitely on my list.♡

Loved reading the mesmerizing and engaging romance story. When Beckett's wife to be, the real Rialta Corsi, faints, he rushes her to the hospital. When Ri denies her feelings for Beckett, he is determined to make her jealous. When Rialta is brought home from the hospital, Beckett takes care of her, but Rialta has a plan of her own. Read the highly. recommended, wonderfully written, and riveting story engaging the reader from the first page until the last page of the story, full of action, mystery, and suspense, and a must read love story. Can't wait to read Lennox's story!
