5 Star review of Bound (Honor Bound # 12) by Angel Payne
Bound was everything I was expecting in this epic conclusion to Princess of Arcadia, Jayd Cimarron and Max Brickham’s story. This was a roller coaster of a read, with so much happening and happily all my questions were answered. Congratulations Ms.Payne on what is one of my favourite books you have written. You have assembled a cast of characters that will stay with me for a long time.
The journey that Max and Jayd embarked on was full of danger and suspense at every turn. They forged a deep and committed bond that cannot be broken despite all that life puts in their paths. As the action intensifies on Arcadia they will be ripped apart.
Bound was a wonderful, steamy, suspenseful story that kept me invested from the first chapter to the last. Max will be forced to face his demons and look deep inside and come to terms with what he finds. The appearance of familiar faces was like seeing old friends as they step up for Max in this emotional and steamy read.
Will the feelings that have ignited between them be enough to keep them together once all is resolved?

An epic conclusion to Jayd and Max's story that will leave the reader flipping pages quickly as they will need to know what happens. With every turn of the page the reader is taken on a wild ride where decisions need to be made and hope and love hold all the cards. Filled with high emotions, high angst and hot and passionate encounters this was a fabulous ending to a story that will become one of your favorites.

Oh! My! Wow! This book was every single thing...
Bound, the continuation of Bared.
I so loved the rollercoaster ride that Angel Payne took my emotions on, in this book. Up one hill, wait, we're flying down another, and over again.
I haven't been this book drunk, in a while. Bound, brought it out in me, and I'm glad.
I so loved the story of Jayd Cimmaron and Maximillion Brickham, along with the cameo spots of all the spec ops team members that showed up throughout,
I cannot give this book anything less than 5 stars.

Omg the way the last book ended left me wanting sooo much more well great news this was released within weeks of book 11! So for a change, I did not need to wait months for the next book to know what happens, and wow! Far far far from disappointed. I did not think I could fall more in love with this series let alone the characters but wow was I wrong! do your self a favor and get this series you will not regret it!

The conclusion of Jayd and Bricks story is pure excitement. Angel in her brilliant mind kept me turning the page, eyes glued and at full attention and focused. I love her work she never disappoints. Angel has brought two of her worlds together and I couldn't be happier. Brick is loyal, protective, loving and 100% alpha male all the way. He will do anything for his "pixie" princess and this story proves that and then some. Grab a hold of your favorite reading snack and drink and be prepared to dive into the world that only Angel could bring to us you will be amazed, turned on and on the edge of your seat from the suspense and action.

With Bound being the possible last book in the Honor Bound Series, my heart is sad. This Honor Bound Series has one of the best storyline plots out there and plenty of alpha male hotness to go around. That being said, Max was severely injured at the end of the last book recusing Jayd from the Pura! When they get to her Island, Jayd’s brothers do what they can to hide and protect him while he heals as now Max is a wanted fugitive for kidnapping the princess - according to the Pura. The web of lies the Pura casts covers the island threatening Jayd and Max to the point of separation and Jayd is defeated. When she disappears and her life is in danger, Max becomes determined to fight his own demons to find her and save her. But can he make it on time, and will she still want him after all is said and done?
Once again, Angel Payne weaves a magical story for us on the island of Arcadia and this time she brought the Honor Bound men out to play too!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When Angel Payne writes a story, she WRITES a story! I absolutely loved the second book for Jayd and Brickhams ending, or beginning. This is book 12 (woah!) in the beloved Honor Bound Series and I really really REALLLLYYYY hope for more.
Maximillian and his Pixie. Do NOT mess with these two because they are a powerhouse together. I loved being back in Arcadia with them and seeing more of the Cimarron brothers and all the people who adore and fight for them, with them. So much happened in Bared, a storyline that took place in less than 24 sexy and exhilarating hours, and it left us hanging with Max full of bullets and Jayd praying to her Creator to save her man. The detail in this book is incredible and the connection between Max and Jayd is still so strong. It was overwhelming at times reading this because not only is Arcadia fighting to bring down a deceitful tyrant, trying to keep the Princess and Arcadian people safe, but we also have Sir Maximillian struggling to know what he should do with his feelings for Jayd while his body heals and the Princess is reacquainted with her life in the palais. At times I literally wanted to stomp my foot and scream at that man for all the pish posh going on in his thick head. So much back and forth to get to the good stuff and so many more times after that. Jayd certainly keeps up with him though and that woman is fierce. I love her. I think she is wonderful and wish she had been more up front with Max. I do respect the fact she needed to hold onto her dignity and her royal upbringing made it so she smoothly and carefully hid most of her emotions. Their chemistry is divine and that I will say I wanted so much more of, them getting frisky.
I loved the the cameos from certain Special Force hotties from the past and really was hoping for more of them. I loved the side characters like Oz and Jag and Emme. I think Angel did an excellent job setting up for more stories her readers will love and she gave us a lovely ending to this fast paced duet. I will say that there was one major, amazing, squeal worthy twist at the end that I for one felt coming in my Angel Payne reader heart but it still totally floored me all the same. WE NEED MORE is all I am saying. MORE MORE MORE.
Angel is a must read author. Her writing is witty and unique and you can tell she pours her personality and her soul into these books. I loved seeing more of this world and I now want to live in Arcadia forever and ever. But only if King Evrest is the ruler!

Angel Payne you have slayed me yet again! Bound is possibly the last book in the series and for that my heart is so incredibly sad. This series has been one of my absolute favorite series ever written and I have loved being sucked into the Honor Bound world. It has gotten me through some really bad times and some really good ones. Honor Bound has some of my favorite hero's ever written and some of my favorite heroine's.
Bound is the conclusion of Jayd and Brick's story. It is a story of excitement, of twists and turns, and gave me the ending I was truly hoping for. Angel Payne truly never disappoints. She comes up with these amazing worlds and characters and weaves magic with them. Combining two of my favorite book worlds into one was absolutely brilliant. Jayd and Brick were no different in regards to being two characters that you couldn't help but root for. Brick is all things alpha and Jayd is truly one amazing heroine!
This book is going to suck you in and keep you glued.

I love when authors cross over characters from their other series. Its like a love letter to fans whom followed them for awhile and wonder what happened to those left behind and it's nice seeing new fans discover their uniqueness and why they deserved to get their own books. Also it doesn't hurt when a small character shares your name *wink*, although my husbands' name is Chris and he basically said he's got a namesake in just about every book, movie and TV show.
Moving on though, I loved this book because although it's got tortured heroes, smexy hotness and a little sister not being allowed to grow up by her brothers.... its ultimately about family and who doesn't love that? Find me the zip code because I'm on the next plane to this fantasy island of HEA.

Bound - Max and Jayd's story continues...
Ahhhhh - what a journey I just took! This is Angel Payne at her best! There were tears, giggles, holding of a deep breath, sighs of happiness, and, oh yeah, one huge gasp (whoa, didn't see that one coming)!!
Max and Jayd's story is priceless - the story of finding out who you really are; breaking through all the nonsense to find the truth; allowing love, trust, and passion to wash over you so you become your very best!
What a magnificent journey this duet was - absolutely loved both books. Thank you Angel for the sleepless nights, they were so worth the additional yawns the next day!! So very good...

The conclusion to Max and Jayd's story we all needed to read. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, from the suspense, the thrills, the obstacles and most importantly the love & chemistry with these two characters. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this crossover but I am so not disappointed. Jayd wants nothing more than to be with Max, the man that saw who she was under all the royalties and made her realize what she wanted. Max, despite his demons, wants Jayd with every fiber of his being even though he doesn't feel good enough. So, insert Max's old team mates and the fight to save Jayd and her family. Will love keep them bound forever or will it be a losing battle?

Bound is the stunning and steamy conclusion to Max and Jayd’s story. Angel Payne hit it out of the park with this book. The awesome suspenseful plot kept me turning pages until the end, and I couldn’t put it down. Max and his old teammates help save Jayd and her family when the opposition comes after the palace. It is beautiful to watch Jayd and Max realize their feelings for each other, and they get an awesome happily ever after.

Arcadia, seeing Max’s friends, and Jayd’s three brothers, one of which is the King add so much to this story. This is a 5 star read.

Holy freaking cow!!!
Seriously amazing Brickham and Jayd had me on the edge of my seat, they were spectacular and that scene in her bathroom, would of never imagined it lol
It was so good to experience The Cimarron clan again, I absolutely adored all of them, I’ll say it again Angel gives so much detail that really lets you experience the book in a whole different way, I was honestly pissed at some parts but then I loved it, specially that ending.

This is the twelfth book in the Honor Bound series and it is not a standalone as it continues Jayd and Max’s story by picking up where Bared left off. Max was tasked with keeping Jayd safe but things have a way of going awry. The beauty of this book is the wicked roller coaster that Ms. Payne has crafted for readers. Full of action, emotion and suspense this author proves yet again why she is such a tour de force and the reason I one click her books.

Bound by A. Payne is book twelf in the Honor Bound Series and the conclusion of Jayd and Max's story.
The princess and the ex spec-ops turned contractor man are in for the adventure of their lives. A fast paced, drama and action packed read, that had me in suspense from start til the last page.
An amazing, I don't want to put down read in the series, 4,5 stars.
The princess and the ex spec-ops turned contractor man are in for the adventure of their lives. A fast paced, drama and action packed read, that had me in suspense from start til the last page.
An amazing, I don't want to put down read in the series, 4,5 stars.

I can’t say enough good things about this series and especially when Angel bring my 2 favourite worlds together. Jayd and Brick are something else that you don’t to miss.
I didn’t know how this was going to play out but it was amazing. The heat in this book will keep anyone scorching hot. The bound these 2 characters have are second to none

OMG!! Angel has done it again. I swear if her name is on a book I'm buying without knowing anything about the book. The conclusion of Brick & Jayd's story will have you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next surprise. I absolutely love the Honor Bound men & loved seeing them in Arcadia helping Brick. I really wish this series would never end.

November 2, 2021Bound is the twelfth book in the Honor Bound series by Angel Payne. A steamy, suspenseful story that kept me invested from the first chapter to the last. Filled with high emotions, high angst and hot and passionate encounters, this was a fabulous ending to a story that will become one of your favorites.

Has everything you need in this book. We get more of Jayd and Brick, some ups and some downs, but their ending is incredible! We also get to see the bad guys taken down and get a few answers along the way.

Between Brick and Jayd I honestly don't know who is more stubborn and willing to sabotage what other people would love to have. As par for the course we get to see more of the most beloved of the scooby gang. Talk about a blast from the past. Many twists and turns with this one.

Max and Jayd definitely needed two books to continue their story. As two words collide both have doubts about their stations in life.

A wonderful addition to the honor bound series. This story concludes the duet with bared and it's a must read. Brick and Jayd have a lot to overcome, but will they be able to do that and find their way to follow their hearts.
