DNF’d in college at some point, it wasn’t bad or anything just a little dry and I think I just had other priorities at the time. And yeah..: it’s still a bit dry and a bit didactic in style but still a lot in here and covers a fair bit the nature of so called plantation societies their social and economic characteristics and remedies in methodical fashion and with a good bit of detail. It’s not necessarily light reading but there is nothing really preventing a “beginner” from reading. The most technical thing in here is maybe like PPC curves I guess which are mostly just visual aids.
