I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I won't go into the premise of the book; I think the description does a good job; plus, other reviewers will do that. This was well written, lots of action the characters are fleshed out well. World building was done very very well. I had a bit of a hard time with this book because of the violence towards children. This is a dark read. The bad guys are very bad and scary. This author is new to me, and he did a wonderful job depicting this dark and scary world. I can't wait to see what happens when Will finds Janae.
