I've always been good at everything. Soccer. Girls. Grades. I don't even have to try. My dad says I get it from him. That I remind him of the teenage version of himself.
None of it really matters to me though. I value relationships more. My friends. My family. I'd do anything for them. And in their eyes, I can never do wrong.
Except that one autumn.
When I forgot my place and ended up in bed with someone I never should have looked at the wrong way.
But it felt so good.
So good that I didn't care if I got a little carried away. Being respectable started to seem like a chore.
So I decided to find out what it would feel like to be a little...shameless.

In Shameless we’ve jumped maybe 18 years and the teenagers now play a larger roll in this story and Cole, Jasper and Skye are in their early to late 40’s. I was sad for the loss of innocence and sad they’d still not found their peace.
Each time I thought I’d worked out the direction of the storyline the twists and turns kept coming. One surprise or shock after another. This was a roller coaster ride I can’t put into words. There were times I had to put this one down, walk away and digest. The writing is unlike anything I’ve read before and I’m left with so many emotions. I’m six books in now and I can’t begin to work out how this series will end. The author has succeeded in her writing to have me feel every emotion in this book whether I’ve agreed with the characters choices or not.
This was a tough read and I’ll be honest up to the 50% mark I almost DNF as I found it difficult to get past the cheating so if you’re up for a challenge then this is the series for you. Despite at times feeling uncomfortable with certain aspects of the read I’ve loved every minute and I can’t wait for the conclusion to this amazing yet challenging series but be warned Zee doesn’t always give us a happily ever after and if cheating is a trigger consider if this is the right read for you.
Ziad my fav. It's his story now and you'll are going to freakin love him. The story about a teenage boy going through the years of maturity and growth is so beautiful and amazing you'll be addicted to this. Happy reading!!
After finishing Taming Well I had hope that my favourite trio will finally find their HEA... I really hoped... but boy oh boy this book destroyed me.
EVERYTHING HURTS. 💔😭
Damn….I don’t even know where to start. I had to take a couple of days before writing this review...
Shameless was so addictive. I couldn’t help but keep reading. EVERYTHING was interesting and it had too many twists and turns. It was funny, romantic, sad, messed up... and just damn it.
I fell in love with Zi! He is one of those "good guys". He is definitely a swoon worthy hero. I couldn't get enough of him and Skye! They were addictive! (don't judge me ok)
My feelings have never been more conflicted. I wanted to slap skye for ruining everything but I also understood where she was coming from. I know it's wrong but she felt like she was never a priority in her relationship. Like Cole will never love her as much as he loves Jasper. And Ziad makes her feel loved sexy young... again.
The story does include cheating yet that isn’t the basis of this story. The author throws in a lot of twists and turns that'll spin everything you know up to that point on its axis.
Stepping cautiously, you should know that this book deals with some heavy subjects (Cheating, date rape,blackmail...), If any is a trigger for you, I wholly respect your decision to steer clear of this story. However, if you are ok reading about these elements, then I highly recommend you give this series a go. Because trust me IT'S WORTH IT ❤

Like all the other books in the series this one wrecked me. I think even worse than once a cheater. I absolutely love all the books from Zee. But each and everyone has me feeling emotionally drained. But in a good way All her first books I read in one go. This one I had to stop somewhere in the middle because I got a heads up from Zee. Who is but the way amazing with how patient she is when she gets mails from me ranting about how she destroyed me and how I hate and love her at the same time. The character and world building are amazing. It really feels like I'm part of the story. This book is set about 16 years after the last one. The kids are all older between 16-19. This book's all about Zi(ad) the adopted son of Armaan and Jasmine and the affair he has with a married woman. The story has lots of emotional twists and turns. And damn that one hell of a toxic family they have. During the book you really feel sorry for Zi and how he's being used. I started to resent the married woman in how she treated him as well as her husband. Then Zi got in some seriously messed up shit and my heart bled for him and what he's been going through. Because the story is about the same characters as the previous ones(just tears later) they all have a prominent part in the story and damn Sky is being a real bitch to Jasper. Although finding out what Jasper and Cole for that matter did was evenly messed up. Those family's are wat to toxic around eachother with way to much secrets and resentment. But still all you want is for them to have their happily ever after. Although I'm not sure with who I want it to be.
This book broke my heart. After everything everyone has gone through to find their way, Skye starts the destruction. Zi, feels he is so grown up and can be part of an adult relationship. He is used by someone feeling her youth and loves passing her by and everyone pays a price. Cole instigates a trist between Jasper and the neighbour’s 16 year old step daughter, just to hurt Skye. Then Jasmine learns of Skye and Zi’s fling. Armaan, takes a sexual blackmailer to task and in doing so, risks everything Jasmine and he have. The book ends with 50 years old Jasper still lusting after the teenage girl next door. To be fair, l didn’t realise older adults involved sexually with teens would upset me. Seems that childhood memories of older people touching and saying inappropriate things would still upset me after so many year. I still think the book is good, but upsetting, and will have to read the next book to be sure things go back to where they should be. An unsettling read, but worth it.

I’m just overwhelmed with this book and the whole series and can’t say enough how much I loved it
Twenty years later, Cole, Skye and Jasper are still together however their relationship is still missing something. Now that the kids are bigger there are different challenges, specially when Skye gives in the attraction of their son’s best friend and their friends son. The persistence from Zaid slowly turns from one time thing to almost every day encounter and when Skye decides it’s time to put the stop to it , it leaves Zaid heartbroken eighteen year old boy who not only falls in love with her but it’s also faced with blackmail. Will the families survive when the truth comes out? You need to find out because this is a mind blowing extremely emotional story. I had to step away few time just to take a breather or I might have a meltdown.
I would highly recommend this because is so so good but be prepared because you will be in for a nice bumpy ride ❤️❤️❤️
This book took the complicated relationships of the past books and compounded them. I am excited to see how they change in the next book due to decisions made in this one.
This is definitely not a series for tbe faint at heart. But worth every minute spent reading.
