**Synopsis**

He is sexy, sweet and incapable of taking no for an answer.

Jasmine and Armaan's story was beautiful and sweet, but also devastating and somewhat sad.
This couple are connected through their past, but unbeknownst to them, is it through relationships and family.
Once Jasmine decides to give Armaan a chance, her past comes back to haunt her and make her second guess her decision.
I loved this story! It was heartfelt and warm and sad at the same time.

Forbidden by Zee Shine Storm was a really good read! Jasmine Khan is an author who resides in Italy after leaving her life behind in Amira a year prior. Jasmine fell in love with her best friend’s older married brother and pursued a forbidden relationship with him for years. Jasmine moves to Milan to meet with her agent Alex. Through Alex, she meets Armaan Qureshi who just so happens to be her lover’s younger estranged half-brother. Armaan is a rich, playboy fascinated by Jasmine. The two embark on a relationship that tests them in a multitude of ways and forces them to confront their fears.

Zee has written a captivating tale of love, religion, and boundaries. This book is written in the third person, but at no point did I feel it was lacking. The development and conflict in Armaan and Jasmine’s relationship were reflective of their personalities and pasts. I felt Zee did a wonderful job expressing these characters’ emotions. The underlying conflict, twists, and turns made this book a really compelling read I could not put down!

This is Armaan and Jasmine’s story and they’re a couple who feature in the following books in the Forbidden Series. I loved Armaan but I didn’t like Jasmine or rather the choices she made but not liking her didn’t spoil my reading experience.

I read Threes a Crowd, book 1 first, then this book, Forbidden 0.5 second but I suggest reading this book first as it sets up Armaan and Jasmine’s story prior to meeting them in the following series and I think you’ll understand their relationship dynamics a lot more.

This is a story of love but also angst and drama follow this couple as they navigate their relationship. They have choices to make and hopefully they will make the right ones. A great start to a series.

But here's why...

The view at the religion and the way it was handled was perfect. This made me feel excited to read more on the subject. The romance was overflowing, and I can't wait to see more in this series.
