The extra spicy coming-of-age noir is available for the first time in a collected edition featuring a whole new ending and an afterword by editor M. F. Sullivan!
When Lucia Eirwen is transferred to Griswald School for Unruly Girls, she's made a target of bullying within minutes. Sadistic Rhoda Dendron is a mean girl who will stop at nothing to see Lucia introduced to the finer points of Griswald's disciplinary plan. But there's more wrong with Griswald than its old-fashioned corporal punishment. Lulu makes a shocking discovery: a body is left hanging in the courtyard, and the killer could be anyone.
With students and parents just as suspect as teachers and not even Lucia's own father absolved of potential wrongdoing, Lulu has no choice but to trust her new, naughty friends...and even when it comes to them, Lulu has her questions. Because one thing's for sure:
Not all the girls of Griswald are guilty...but not a one of them is innocent.
This collected noir is for adults only and contains quite a few passionate scenes between the ladies of Griswald…and maybe a staff member or two. Discretion is advised.
Regina Watts is an an absolute goddess of femdom fiction who loves writing torrid smut about the corruption of innocent girls and boys by wicked, more experienced young ladies and depraved older men--and if those dirty old men get what's coming to them at the hands of those same corrupted youths, even better. From kinky experimentation to twisted taboos, nothing is too extreme for Regina. Check her out on twitter @WritesWatts or follow Painted Blind Publishing's website for more information about her work, whether it's erotic fiction or transgressive literature.
*Author's Note: Pay no attention to my Goodreads genres I noticed they didn't include 'erotica' as a category and got a lil passive aggressive lmao
I loved the plot, I loved the setting, and I loved the characters, but there is just so much sex in this book. I love sex scenes as much as the next person but there were just so many that it was taking away from the mystery and intrigue. All in all, excited for the sequel.
To fully understand my feelings about "Be My Bully!: The Permanent Record", one needs to know where my mind was when I added it to my collection of books on Kindle. I have really been getting into Yuri (lesbian) anime and manga over the past year but as for western novels with a strong lesbian or bisexual flair, I was still new. I had done some minor sifting through the algorithm's suggestions when this book came up. It appeared, on the surface like a silly, sexy romp laden with bdsm overtones. I didn't know the author and couldn't even be bothered to read much about it, I just thought I'd get it for the sheer sexy hell of it. Within the first couple of chapters, I was still convinced the book was designed for these sexy teen girls to explore their emerging sexuality. They navigated a school that loved to see girls get spanked and everyone's favorite bad girl, Rhoda enjoy twisting all of the perverted adult men around her finger. Then, out of nowhere our sweet, innocent protagonist Lulu discovers the dead body of the school secretary and all of my preconceived notions fell away. Sure, at times the sex was gratuitous but it never felt unnatural given the context of the character's backstories. After the murder of poor Mrs Green, every sideways glance was given new meaning. Conspiracies seemed to be all around. I had correctly deduced some of the main plot points but there were plenty of red herrings to throw me off. This was definitely not just a silly, sexy romp. I had also grown quite fond of some of the main characters which also reminded me of yuri stories. I tuned in for something sexy, was surprised by its sudden, unexpected depth and then fall in love with the ladies at the center of it all. I will happily try out more of Regina Watts work.
If you’re looking for a Yuri, this isn’t it. The story has zero human emotional connection between the characters, it’s nothing but smut, rape, borderline pedophilia masked with “she just turned 18 so it’s okay for a middle aged man to f**ck her.
I do not mind a smut story, I grew up reading “fanfics” and I do read Yuri manga, but then there’s that line that’s crossed when the “girlfriend “/“friends” with benefits f**ks the father of Lulu. I feel like if Rhonda is bisexual, she gives a bad name to bisexual people whenever she tells the father that lulu can’t give her what she wants”needs” which is a “d*ck” that’s their “understanding” that why Rhonda fucks middle aged men, but claims to “love” lulu. Meanwhile lulu questions her sexuality and despite messing around with Mara, whenever Rhonda tells her she wants to see her get f***ked by a d**k, lulu tells her she only wants Rhonda to do that to her.
TLDR; Mara she has issues…. Lulu naive girl turned into a sex toy by abuse… Rhonda f**ks anything that moves… Every man in this story is a creep who wants to f***k high school girls… Netorare…
And the murder plot is boring, couldn’t even get that right. Don’t waste your money, save it on an actual Yuri manga where women respect themselves and their lover enough.
What a truly great read this was, twists and turns and lots of steamy lesbian erotica. I would HIGHLY reccomend this one for anyone that wants to read a nice, spicy noire. Fair warning though, its very hard to put down once you start it and you'll be practically begging Regina watts for a sequel by the time you are done.
I couldn't finish this book. I barely managed to get 11% read. The writing was good, but it couldn't keep my attention. The chapters were way to long. My Kindle said 1-4 hours left to read in each chapter. Lucia was annoying. All she did was complain and she let another girl sexually assault her on school grounds and all they say is "Oh, that's just how Rhoda is." No, Rhoda is a r*pist. She thinks its okay to sexually assault cute girls.
