This was a story about two broken and scarred people, who found happiness together.
Lee and Jacqueline were both scarred individuals, both emotionally and physically. Both had mother-issues, both had problems with love and intimacy, and both had people in their past that they had loved, leaving them both hurting.
“Why can’t I find someone normal?”
The storyline in this revolved around Lee and Jacqueline as they worked through their problems and towards each other. Both of them made mistakes and did things they weren’t proud of, but both of them slowly realised how much they meant to each other.
The romance in this was slow building, but there were also several spanners thrown in the works, so things didn’t run smoothly at all.
“You’re like the craziest girl I’ve ever met.”
The ending to this was happy, and a little surprising! I didn’t expect the story to end the way it did.

This was an okay read, but it's my least favorite in the series so far.
I felt really sorry for Jacqueline. Having a a drug addict as a mother, and then being passed around different foster homes like a game of pass the parcel must have been tough.
It took me a while to warm to Lee. The comments he made about Jacqueline not being normal, and talking about her like she would be a huge burden if he dated her because of a mental illness she had annoyed me. As if the poor girl hadn't had enough of that attitude in her life!
This wasn't my favorite read in the series, which I think was mainly due to how long it took me to warm to lee, but it was an alright read.

Is anyone really and truly 'normal' ? I know I'm not , we're all a little broken one way or another. It's just a case of finding that certain someone who will love us unconditionally for who we are no matter how broken we are . It's that special someone who will help us all mend .
This is a truly beautifully written story about two dysfunctional people who become friends and eventually after a few ups and downs fall in love .
After reading Parker and Madalynne's story I wasn't sure if I would enjoy Lee and Jacqueline's story as much but I'm glad to say I loved every single page of it .
Another big hit for the fabulous and very talented Kira Adams .

SPOILERS AHEAD!! DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THIS BOOK!!
After reading My forever, I was hesitant to start this book because I was so disappointed with the last one. Saying that, my hopes for this one weren't very high. However, I was so very happily surprised and I actually really enjoyed this book. I could relate so much to both Lee and Jacqueline. I also quickly fell in love with Lee's cousin, Austyn (and the spelling of her name) and her boyfriend.
Sidenote** And what a pleasant surprise that the next installment in this series is about them!!**
But back to this story. I was nervous that Jacqueline's struggles were going to be overdramatized and come across as hard to believe and it was going to be a huge pity party on her part. But, it never was and I believe her issues were very relatable and obviously sad, but that just made it all the more amazing when she overcame them. I admired her strength and although she had every right to blame and curse the world for every problem she had, she didn't. She just lived her life and pushed through all her obstacles and I loved that approach. I know obviously it took a toll on her and she took it out on herself with cutting, but I just really appreciated the fact that she didn't have the "it's everyone else's fault but mine" attitude.
Now to her and Lee's relationship..
One word. Perfect.
They somehow fit together so perfectly even with all of their issues. LOVED.

Just the perfect about of cheeseball for my liking. I also enjoyed how he didn't lie and tell her nothing was wrong with her and all of that nonsense. He was straightforward and told her the truth and instead said he loved her in spite of all of her baggage. GOLD STAR FOR HIM.
And when she stopped cutting and says "Being with you has been my medicine." Ugh, I died a little bit. It didn't come off as cheesy or too much at all. It was perfect. Even the very last paragraph of the book ..
"He became my cure. Before him, I was convinced things like that didn't happen except in fairy tales. He proved me wrong at every turn. He gave me hope in the darkness."
I mean does it get any better than that? How very realistic and hope inspiring coming from a fictional book. Usually it's all fluff and happy endings everywhere. Where there was a happy ending with this, it wasn't all smiles and sunshine. It was full of work and difficulties. Real life material. GOLD STARS EVERYWHERE.

I loved when they skydived together. How symbolic of their relationship and how their relationship was unchartered territory. Having faith that everything will be okay in the end.
I really enjoyed this book and I'm so happy I stuck with it after the first one. I can't wait to read the next installment in this series because I loved Austyn and Avery.

BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN BY: KIRA ADAMS
I was so excited to see Lee and Jacqueline's story! I knew that Jacqueline had a rough past, but it was heartbreaking finally getting the full story. I absolutely love some of the harsher aspects of life and people's issues that Adams explores in her novels. Everything always feels genuine and real. Bipolar disorder isn't something I have read about before, and I found it refreshing to explore here. I think there was a lot of care in how it was brought out and I appreciated a realistic approach to the subject. And even though I was off put by Lee's initial reaction to finding out that Jacqueline had this disorder, I did feel that his reaction probably was very realistic to how some people at that age, in that more casual dating (totally nice way of saying just looking for some nookie) mindset would react. So even though it pissed me off, it honestly fit the situation, and gave Lee no where to go but up, as far as my opinion of him.
I really liked Travis too. I worried for a bit that this was going to turn into a love triangle similar to the previous book, but thankfully it never went there. I thought he was a great friend to Jacqueline, and I really didn't even fault him for the way he handled the situation when things seemed too daunting to him. Sometimes, as hard as it can be, you can't save/fix people that aren't ready to accept that new path or help, no matter how hard you try. So I kind of understood where he was coming from. I also got the feeling he may have been Jacqueline's crutch in a way, and their time apart would probably be a good thing for both of them.
There were a lot of times I actually felt that Jacqueline could do better than Lee. He made a lot of mistakes in the beginning and I wasn't always a fan of the way he viewed her or her struggles. He seemed to come around more as the story progressed but I wasn't always sure if it was for the best reasons or not. In the end I could see why they worked well together though. And I enjoyed the journey of them getting there. I am really curious to see where this series goes next!

Beautifully Broken begins with us getting to know a little of each main characters back round and how they come together for the first time. Lee has had a hard past when it comes to relationships, and every time he gets hurt he falls back to his player ways, but sometimes that just isn't enough for him and he wants to change. Jacqueline hasn't had an easy life at all, and she's never really felt like she's been loved before and she's had her hurt broken several times. But when she meets Lee things seem to change for them. Maybe not right at the start, but eventually they both seem to find each other.
Beautifully Broken was a confusing story to follow at times. I will say that I did like the book over all. And I really liked the plot for the most part, and the characters. But there were a few things I didn't like either.
Like these things:
1) Towards the end of the book a weird scar happens to Lee, that causes a small rift between him and Jacqueline. This didn't cause too much damage and honestly didn't seem to have much of an affect on the story at all, so I kind of thought it was just pointless drama added.
2) I have a love/hate relationship with Lee. I hated him at the beginning, and for sometimes making it seem like he deserved better than Jacqueline. Then I really liked him because he was honest and he eventually put himself out there and I admired that. So he was a confusing mix of emotions for me!
3) This is really the only other thing I didn't care for at all. I hated the way the story would skip to the past then back to the present, that is what made the story confusing to follow at times, and very frustrating.
So over all I liked the story. It was pretty fast paced, and very enjoyable with lots of drama!

Lee self destructs without realizing it. He has dealt with stuff in the past that has him pushing everything against getting attached and loving.
What happens when you're broken and someone out of the blue becomes your healing aide? Guess you'll have to read this to find out!!
I was introduced to Lee and Jac in book one and was waiting to read more about them. I definitely wasn't disappointed! I felt for both of these characters! I loved every second of reading this! Looking forward to the next part!

So far, this has been my favorite book in their series. I really liked Lee and I feel like brothers Lee or Jacqueline drew out their problems or relationship, which was a very nice change of pace. I didn't feel super connected to either character though. I can't relate to the problems that the characters face in this story, so I think that explains the emotional disconnect. As o said this story was the most enjoyable so far.

Wow, talk about "unconventional." Jacqueline and Lee seemed like the most unlikely pair, yet they worked incredibly well together. Their story was definitely a rollercoaster, to say the least. There were parts that had me laughing, crying, shocked, and/or almost to tears. All of the books in this series have been incredible so far, especially this one. I'm happy to have read it, but sad that it's over. :( However, I'm super excited to see what happens in Austyn and Avery's book, "Against All Odds!" ❤️

this story is the second in its series. you can read it as a stand alone or the characters will have a better feel if you read the first book. this story follows 2 different people in their pov's. first off we have Jacqueline. she is bi-polar.
lets not forget that she is a cutter. she came from a broken home, and had to live on the system. her mother was a drug addict, and her father left shortly after her mother started forgetting her at school. yep, that is right foster care! she finally got her way and was emancipated! her best friend convinced his parents to let her live with them in exchange she works at their stable. She could tell him everything and was happy that he never tried to cross their "friend barrier". she had her heart broken, and is trying to move on.
what would you do if the person who broke your heart was trying to set you with someone who was friends with the girl he replaced you with?
Lee is a guy who travels all the time. he had money and loved his job.he is also a victim of the broken heart..
funny story, his ex girlfriend is trying to set him up with one of her friends. this girl is friends with her new boyfriend. he fly's out to the home town because of her wedding, and decides he is going to give it a chance. he asks his cousin about blind date advice.. he starts talking to Jacqueline thru facebook, and was a complete asshole. so he decides to meet her face to face and apologize. things started to get a little steamy..
now what is a book without a little drama in it!! these two are the definition of dysfunctional relationship.. Lee wants Jacqueline to love him, and her past with people letting her down won't let him in. he is determined to have her fall hard...
Jacqueline had to come to terms with her problems, she recently got reunited with her mother, and fell onto hard times. Like a great boyfriend Lee was there to lend his helping hand and offered her to go to Hawaii with him....will this trip bring them closer together or will her issues with self- harm and his ex-girlfriends could ruin everything that they built.
this book will have you on an emotional roller coaster and will have you not wanting to put this book down!

Jacqueline is broken, she's had a rough upbringing. Her mother is a convicted drug addict and her father; who knows! When her mother was arrested Jacqueline was taken into care, she went from foster home to foster home, until she was emancipated at the age of 15. After thinking that things couldn't get any worse she was diagnosed with Bipolar too. For Jacqueline every day is a struggle. Then she meets Lee.
Lee is the complete opposite to Jacqueline, he also seems to have just about everything; money, a job and girls practically throwing themselves at him. But Lee still feels like he's missing something, he's just not satisfied. Lee has suffered heartbreak in the past and as a result has attempted to close off his heart, he thinks that if he doesn't do relationships then he can prevent anymore pain and heartache. Then he meets Jacqueline.
Do opposites really attract? Together can they overcome they're demons and begin healing?
The synopsis for Beautifully Broken called to me. Obviously after reading My Forever I had to read this, but even before I read My Forever I knew I had to read Beautifully Broken. I was intrigued to see if or how Lee and Jacqueline might work, I mean they really are complete opposites, but they seem to bring out the best in each other too.
I have really enjoyed the fact that for these two it wasn't love at first sight, they spent time getting to know one another and built a friendship before attempting to take things further. It was also a change to see that the lead male was showing a more vulnerable side; as Lee kept backing away before realising that he needs Jacqueline.
Lee and Jacqueline's characters grow more and more with each and every bump they hit, there is a lot of give and take throughout. They certainly seem to help one another.
Kira's writing style has once again kept me captivated until the very last page. The emotion that Kira has captured and portrayed is once again wonderful, and is very real. Kira has stick with the use of multiple POV and it works incredibly well, there's never any confusion. The flow of her writing is smooth and all aspects intertwine seamlessly.
Beautifully Broken deals with some very real issues that a lot of people face and live with, I think that Kira has handled these topics fantastically and sensitively. The raw emotion have been captured and portrayed brilliantly, I felt as though I was experiencing them along with Jacqueline and Lee.
Beautifully Broken is a fantastic book full of love, hurt and anger but it also has the power to give hope too! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Beautifully Broken and I'm looking forward to the next installment in this series.

Lee and Jacqueline's characters grow more and more with each and every bump they hit, there is a lot of give and take throughout. They certainly seem to help one another.
Kira's writing style has once again kept me captivated until the very last page. The emotion that Kira has captured and portrayed is once again wonderful, and is very real. Kira has stick with the use of multiple POV and it works incredibly well, there's never any confusion. The flow of her writing is smooth and all aspects intertwine seamlessly.
Beautifully Broken deals with some very real issues that a lot of people face and live with, I think that Kira has handled these topics fantastically and sensitively. The raw emotion have been captured and portrayed brilliantly, I felt as though I was experiencing them along with Jacqueline and Lee.
Beautifully Broken is a fantastic book full of love, hurt and anger but it also has the power to give hope too! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Beautifully Broken and I'm looking forward to the next installment in this series.

Beautifully Broken is the second book in the Infinite Love series and this time we get the story of Jacqueline and Lee. We first got to meet them in My Forever when they made up two sides of the love square involving Maddy and Parker. This time around they are both young, free, single and hoping for their own happily ever afters.
Jacquie is agonisingly full of bitterness and despair after living her short life being used and abandoned by everyone including her own mother, and when she doesn’t even have her to lean on anymore she slips into a world of building walls around herself and of abusing her own body. Jacquie is one fiery girl and because of the condition that she has it often means that her way of coping with things is to act first and think later, often those actions push away everyone in her support system and leave her in an ever lower place than she was before. She really tugged on my heart strings as we watched her grow over the months but it was a joy to read such a human and emotional character.
I just wish someone loved me. I just wish I wasn’t so easily tossed aside.
No one prepares you for the pain associated with losing a loved one.
Lee was stunning when he was supporting Jacquie, he was loving, patient and exactly the tonic she so desperately needed. I found it very hard when he was willing to push her as far away as possible when he felt that he couldn’t cope with someone so hot and cold as her but once he realised that, regardless of her medical conditions, she is still a human being who is perfectly capable of giving and receiving love I loved him unconditionally.
This is a wonderful story of two souls very broken in very different ways that conveys the message that even if we have cracks we are still worthy of having a happy ending, of being cherished. No one is perfect, no matter how well they try to hide their imperfections and I think was a wonderful tale of love and acceptance of ourselves and of others and Kira Adams has told it very gracefully and in a very thought provoking way. In this day and age we all have the experience with people touched by mental health issues and I think that the way that this book really makes you think about how you may treat those people is a great accomplishment. Just because someone has scars doesn’t mean they aren’t worth the effort. If I could change one thing about this book it would be that to make it longer, I would have loved for it to of been a few more chapters longer to really see Jacquie over come her compulsion but all in all it was a very enjoyable read. Thank you to Kira Adams for giving me to chance to read this, it is a wonderful tale and has left me very excited to read the next book of the series, Against All Odds.

Jacqueline Blunt has had more hardships in her life than any other person her age. She's went through being diagnosed with a disorder which would cause others around her to judge her quickly, being left without parents due to her mother being a drug addict and her father leaving, and also just having to deal with all of that herself. She has her best friend Travis and his family to thank for trying to make her life better; however, there are times when even they cannot do anything for her. Then Lee Bennett appears in her life and he is the opposite of her. He has had everything in life that any one person could possibly imagine, but he isn't satisfied at all. He feels as though he is missing something really important. When he encounters Jacqueline, he doesn't really know what to expect or what to think of her; however, after a few encounters, they start to get to know each other and things soon blossom in something deeper than they could ever imagine.
I was very intrigued after reading the synopsis on how the author would bring these two characters together because although I've read many different books on characters who are complete opposites of one another and who are brought together, I wasn't sure on the dynamics of Lee and Jacqueline since the circumstances seem to be a bit different in this case. However, I really liked how the author brought them together because it really wasn't love at first sight or anything at all. They gradually got to know one another as friends and became more than that. This probably sounds really weird, but in a way, I liked how Lee wasn't sure on Jacqueline and left her sometimes, but then he realized that she was so different from other people and that he needed her. He helped her through things that others gave up on. He helped her through her time of need.
Sometimes it's necessary to let others in and to give up some substance of control in order to be whole again and to also fix what's already been broken. This is what Jacqueline had to do because I'm pretty sure she's used to taking care of herself and doing things her way, but in order to both Lee and her to work, she had to give up things that were hard for her to give up and in return she helped him with things that plagued his life. I thought this was beautiful because they balanced each other out. Sometimes opposites really do attract. Haha. All in all, this was a lovely book.

Sometimes the ones worth fighting for don’t know their worth. Sometimes being broken is beautiful. This is a story of strength, courage, hope, faith, and love. This is Beautifully Broken.
Overall: I liked this book much better than the first in the Infinite Love series, My Forever. It read much more realistically and the author did a nice job getting rid of the mechanical/robotic sounding dialogue sometimes present in the first book. I found the characters, Lee and Jacqueline likable in a flawed way. Like the title says, they were each broken for different reasons. Jacqueline struggles with self-harm and Lee had issues with his mother leaving him. When they came together, though, they seemed to help each vother cope. Not necessarily heal each other, but definitely helped. I'm glad they still had some issues together, too. Their arguments and jealousy made them more realistic. I hate when relationships in books are so smooth-sailing because it makes the reader feel like their relationships are wrong for not being perfect. This book provided a breath of fresh air in that sense. My only problem is the character's actions came across as more "teenager" than the adults they were. Obviously they were young adults, but the immaturity and rash decisions reflected a younger character. In this book, just like the first, the setting was wonderful and drew me in instantly. I love that these can be read as standalone books, but also as a series for background. It was a nice, light read.
Characters: Like I said before, Lee and Jacqueline were flawed, but realistic. Their passion together was beautiful. Travis was so sweet, I really wanted more background with him. I liked that Mady and Parker rejoined the story at the end to wrap up both books. I loved that this book had at least a little character development from the beginning to the end.

This book was so much better than the first book I fully love it, reading this book really gave me an insight to Jacqueline and Lee's lives.
Jacqueline only met Lee because of Maddy and Parker which to me is really nice, Jacqueline had a shit childhood her father was never around and her mother was addicted to drugs and men, no wonder Jacqueline is so messed up, I feel rwally sorry for Jacqueline who spent a few years in foster care which was not very nice.
While reading this book it's really nice that Jacqueline started a friendship with Maddy to me it's what she needs. I'm learning more and more about Lee he seems like a right toy boy I can understand why Lee is the way he is, Lee once had his heart ripped out by losing his girlfriend Taylor not by a break up but by death WoW I really do feel for him, to me it seems that Jacqueline and Lee are really made for each other. I know they come from totally different backgrounds but having your hearr broken or not worthy of someone's love it's still same sort of heartache that my friends is hurt even though they have not met yet they already need each other they just don't know it yet.
Lee is really caring and kind man who had his heart broken again this time by Maddy. Lee had been getting letters from Maddy but he didn't read them because it was to hard for him. After a few weeks, months he finally decided to read the letters from Maddy this is where he finds out about Jacqueline, Maddy telling him about her and telling him to take a chance. Lee sends Jacqueline a Facebook message and they start talking to each other. Shit me did I have a surprise when Lee turned up in Jacqueline home town they had loads of fun together but after a fews day lee leaves to go home. The shit thing about what Lee did to Jacqueline was stop talking to her fir a few months.
Lee really needed to get his shit together no matter how much trouble Jacqueline is she really does need him, they really do need each other. I was smiling when Jacqueline received a letter from Lee telling her everything it was really sweet they started talking to each other again and giving Lee a second chance, a chance that Lee was willing to take.

Beautifully Broken: The Infinite Love Series, Book Three (Kindle Edition)
This was a very well written and wonderful novel. I loved how Kira Adams was able to bring together two lost souls, both romantically after being broken hearted, and figuratively in regard to dysfunction within their lives. The author addresses the loss of a mother to drugs, the effects of the foster care system, the drawbacks of emancipation as a teen, the effects of a mental illness, and the desire and need to be loved and respected and treated like those around you. She also explores how having a good childhood, despite ones mother leaving during their teens, money and the luxury to travel wherever one wants to go does not make for a fulfilling life and that there are still plenty of holes that need to be filled. Dysfunction is common in most people's families and lives. In Lee and Jacqueline's lives it is abundant. He escapes with alcohol, women, and running away to different countries. She escapes through cutting. They both have been dumped by individuals who are now their friends and are now engaged.
The path to togetherness is not an easy one for Jaquie and Lee. There is great chemistry and they both are able to joke with one another and laugh hard and love hard...and fight hard and give up easily on each other and themselves. Different situations prompt each if them to make positive changes in their lives which slowly brings them both to the realization that they enjoy being together, challenging each other, and can make things work. That she needs him as much as he needs her...and within that premise they are able to bring about a functioning relationship.
Kira Adams writes with great emotion and allows the readers into the lives of each of these individuals. The reader is able to relate to them both while also wanting to scream at them, cheer them on, and applaud them. Qualities of a well written book. She takes multiple life obstacles and brings them front and center and has the characters work through them in a way in which most individuals would do so. Their path to togetherness is truly a roller coaster with several unexpected dips and turns and free falls unexpectedly thrown in. All of which the reader is able to experience and relate to.
A wonderful and enjoyable novel that keeps the reader engaged from beginning to end...and sometimes guessing as to what's next, Beautifully Broken is a must-read novel.

I really enjoyed book one in this series and when I was offered the chance to read book two I jumped on it! I love Author Kira Adam's style of writing, her boldness and her ability to take any subject (no matter how upsetting) and make it informative, enlightening and factual so that it gives the reader a sense of power in knowing the facts about different forms of addiction, mental illnesses and how it affects the people who have them as well as the people who love them. I love how the author was able to make the reader feel the mood swings that Jacqueline was going through and feel like they were right there with her throughout them. The author does an amazing job of sharing the lives of her characters through the good and the bad and makes the reader feel for them. She is adept in weaving a tale that leaves the reader on an endless roller coaster of emotions. The reader is left with a lasting impression of both the characters and the storyline.
The story of Lee and Jacqueline is a rough road from start to finish, but it is a road that leaves the reader on the edge of their seat wanting to know more. They start out in love with other people and throughout the story they try to figure out what they means for each of them. I love the bumpy road that the author paves for the reader and most if not all of the twists and turns are completely unpredictable. This book will have you pulling out the tissues one minute and wanting to pull out your hair the next. It is truly and emotional tale that leaves the reader thinking about it long after they finish reading. Make sure that you add this to your TBR list, it is a must read!!

I was rather hesitant to read Beautifully Broken since I had a lot of trouble connecting with one of the main characters of its predecessor, My Forever. I like connecting with them and said character turned out to be one extremely hard to like. Fortunately, I didn't have trouble liking the characters of Beautifully Broken. They were far better written and I liked how they are so intense and passionate.
Jacqueline & Lee are both interesting characters with personal demons, and once they get together, the chemistry is just there, like if they were meant to be for each other all along. We get to meet them in My Forever, but we don't really get to know them until this book.
Jacqueline is a troubled teenager who has struggled getting along with life, what with her drug-addicted mother on prison and being forced to live as a foster child. Lee, on the other hand, is a rich young man going from girl to girl trying to forget the one he lost. When Maddy and Parker decide to set them up, they agree only because they want to forget the fleeting relationships they had with them two, but as they meet, sparks fly and finally, they're no longer alone in the emotional roller-coaster they call Life.
What I liked about Jacqueline and Lee's story is that I felt their emotions and all their heartbreak even though I've never come close to experiencing what they have been through. I think I understand them, though I wish these characters would have tried to be more open about a few things. Like Lee, for example, I believe his part of the story was a bit less clear than Jaqueline's.
The ending was a little too much for my liking since I don't like my characters moving too fast in their relationships, but I guess it depends on the way you look at it. Despite that, Beautifully Broken turned out to be an enjoyable read.

When Maddy and Parker decide to set them up, they agree only because they want to forget the fleeting relationships they had with them two, but as they meet, sparks fly and finally, they're no longer alone in the emotional roller-coaster they call Life.
What I liked about Jacqueline and Lee's story is that I felt their emotions and all their heartbreak even though I've never come close to experiencing what they have been through. I think I understand them, though I wish these characters would have tried to be more open about a few things. Like Lee, for example, I believe his part of the story was a bit less clear than Jaqueline's.
The ending was a little too much for my liking since I don't like my characters moving too fast in their relationships, but I guess it depends on the way you look at it. Despite that, Beautifully Broken turned out to be an enjoyable read.

This was such an interesting book! The characters were wonderfully flawed and it takes your emotions for a ride.
Jacqueline and Lee are encouraged to start communicating at the behest of Maddy, a mutual…friend/ex. Maddy has found her happily-ever-after, but in all her wisdom, she pairs these two together. And what a match!
I loved how flawed the characters were. It was hard for me to believe that two people could go through so much, but it was wonderful to see that they were able to do it together.
Kira Adams made sure these characters took an emotional beating by life. Jacqueline with her bi-polar disorder is destined to be a little volatile at times, but the crappy circumstances of her childhood certainly didn’t help matters. She’s insecure when it comes to love, but still possesses great strength of character. It was an interesting dynamic. I could stay in her head all day attempting to understand her and I know that she’ll still surprise me. Lee, the sexy dreamboat , has more than a few instances of being a jerk to all the women in his life. If we weren’t in his head so much, seeing him struggle with himself, I would not have liked him for Jacqueline. The dual first-person writing style worked perfectly for this novel.
Life can certainly throw us curves balls and these two got a lot of them. It was really inspiring to see their commitment to one another. Once both Lee and Jacqueline decide to go all in, it was almost unwavering. She even moves in with him in paradise, giving them both a chance to start fresh. Having experienced a whirlwind romance myself, I could really relate to them. They simply needed each other and decided to trust their hearts, regardless of their unyielding fears.
Overall, it was a really beautiful story with complicated characters. Definitely give it a try if you want to add a little crazy romance to your reading list.

I received this book to give an honest review.
I liked this book a bit more better than book one. I guess it is because we got two broken people who learn to come together and accept each others flaws that it makes the story work. The good thing about this series is that they it can be a stand alone. You don't have to read book one to figure out who these people are. But it is nice to have their back story in a way.
Jacqueline is a broken woman. She has had a rough childhood but she has slowly overcame it. Her demon is cutting, and there is only one person who knows this her friend Travis. Jacqueline doesn't think she will ever find love because she has so many problems.
She is a character I did like but her mood swings whew!
Now Lee, in book one we got some back ground on who Lee was via Maddy.
Lee is a player, one night stand man. He isn't looking for a relationship that is until Maddy came into his life. Then of course she broke his heart and he was on the bend of drinking and sleeping around.
When Parker and Maddy play match maker Lee meets Jacqueline.
It is a whirlwind of drama, mixed emotions, each have secrets that they end up opening up to each other. Which I thought it was amazing for Jacqueline to be able to do that.
Now the author does go back and forth between past and present so be prepared. I was use to this because of the way it was in book one. So I was already prepared, so I wouldn't get confused.
The ending was cute, and I thought it was perfect for it to end that way with Lee and Jacqueline.
The problems I had with the book.
The way Jacqueline and Lee acted at times didn't seem to "adult" it was more like teenagers.
When Lee meets Jacqueline he is quick to try to get into her pants, this didn't sit to well with me. He wasn't forceful but it came out too strong on his part.
Would I read book three? Of course!

I received both this book and the first in the series (My Forever) to review. I was not a huge fan of My Forever, but I am so glad I stuck with the series and read Beautifully Broken...it was such a great book. It was so well written and the characters are just crazy and entertaining. I had to [ush myself through the first book but couldn't put this one down.
This is a love story about Jacqueline and Lee. Jacquie has been on her own for pretty much her whole life, her mom was arrested when she was 12 for drug use and prostitution and she went into the foster system. At 15 she was emancipated and took care of herself. She had no one other than her best friend Travis...that is until she met Parker and he broke her heart.
Lee is also on his own, and his life is full of adventure, drinking and women but after his high school girlfriend died suddenly in a car accident, he didn't think he would find love again. Until Maddie came into his life, made him feel love and then left him to go back to Parker.
Maddie and Parker set up Jacqueline and Lee - which seems pretty odd, but it works. They are both full of issues on their own, but together they just make sense. "Jacqueline is like fire and Lee is the ice".
The only reason I wouldn't give this story 5 stars is because, like the first book, the author jumps back and forth a lot and sometimes it is hard to keep up with what is happening and what has happened.
That being said, I truly enjoyed this dysfuctional love story and look forward to reading the next in the series about Austyn and Avery!

Author Kira Adams did a good job on this book. I was a little skeptical reading this book because I wasn’t that happy with how Lee and Jacqueline were involved in Book 1, “My Forever”. After giving the book a chance I found the book to be better written.

Loved it the ending you wanna know?? Read it! Tease ! actually it ended and the next in the series is about another character. So yes to answer the question it ended and NO cliffhanger
Grief and the service of our armed forces were at the center of book 1. So if you have not read that then STOP go read it. We know Jacqueline and Lee have taken to being alone now and are friends with Parker and Maddy. This makes me happy. So no secret that Lee was the lime on top of my Corona and Jaqueline, well I hated her. I thought she knew Parker was with someone and she wanted him and pursued him. She did and for that I wanted to send her to Iceland to live a life alone without a coat. Now I have since moved on. I forgive Jaqueline because the author dives right into her real issues and it is like the light went on and I feel she is redeemed in my eyes. She has an
issue. This is another something not spoken about. Also I will give the author more kudos cause she has another issue even bigger than the first. I was so blown away at this reveal.
Now let us go to Hawaii. Lee is licking his wounds in a bad way and Maddy makes a friendly suggestion to hit Jackie up. Shocking! Lee goes to meet her. Are you thinking what I am? I know WOW WTF is gonna happen now?
The author did an even better job on this book. It was darker and even more healing, in my opinion. I enjoy the dark and the drama filled pages of books like this. It is yet another great book and I want more from her.

I feel like a broken record, but Kira Adams does it again with another well written YA/NA romance.
While this could be a stand alone book, it's the third installment in the Infinite Love Series.
When Parker chooses Madalynne over Jacqueline, it's enough to possibly send Jacqueline over the edge. When Madalynne chooses Parker over Lee, Lee is crushed to the point of maybe never wanting to love again. But when Lee and Jacqueline are set up by Madalynne, both of their lives change for the better.
Jacqueline is self destructive with no self confidence. She is a product of a heart breaking childhood. Her best friend since she was little, Travis, is a trusting friend who is always there for her except when she truly needs him. Lee steps in and picks up where Travis leaves off.
Lee has only ever loved two women in his life. The love of his life, Taylor, was taken away from him suddenly. He didn't think he could love again. He turned to everything else to avoid heartbreak and relationships by drinking, mindless sex and traveling, but when he meets Jacqueline, he's willing to take the chance again.
Lee and Jacqueline have their ups and downs. They learn to trust each other and are ultimately there for each other when it's most important. As the reader, you get to experience these two characters start from the bottom and work their way up individually and as a couple.
Well worth the read!

Beautifully Broken: (5 STARS) I really liked this story! I loved Jacqueline, how she fought after meeting Lee to be a better person. And I really liked Lee, when he decided to help her.
This part tells us a story of Lee and Jac. Both dumped by Maddy and Parker in previous part. Both Broken. Lee was broken not only by Maddy, but also by a tragedy that happened long time ago, when his only love, has been killed in a car accident. This changed him forever. He started drinking and hooking-up with almost every girl that was willing. And most of them were. The other party, Jacqueline. A broken young woman, who was forced to grow up quickly, with no support from her family. Father has left her and her mother at the worst time: when her mother got way too addicted to drugs. She was thrown into foster care system when she was 12. She only survived because she had her best friend with her: Travis. He helped her get through the worse, but she still couldn't trust him enough to tell him her worst secret. She thought that Parker will be the one, but she was wrong. After she met Lee, she was not sure what to expected. He was hot and the next minute he was cold.
They had both up and downs, and sometimes they were more destructive for each other, but most of the times they were IT.
I loved this story, because Kira has touched a subject that is really rarely touched.

I liked this story a whole lot more than the first one I will admit. I liked Lee already in book one, and Jacqueline I thought was interesting to get to know more. So when I started reading the story I instantly liked the way things started off, and even more when they progressed. Jacqueline is really straight forward with Lee, not giving him any BS about what he can expect with her. And I loved that about her. While it might seem whiny to some, I thought it showed how strong she was for being so open with everything. Just like in book one, you have two people that are broken, and yet are trying to find their way out of the dark together. And with those two, I loved watching them on their journey. Both with their insecurities about the future, both unsure of is the other one is really right for them.
And their banter is hilarious as well, it had me laughing out quite a few times. But that was the beauty of it. They were good together, better together, than each of them apart. And that's when they were shining. So i truly enjoyed watching them on their journey towards each other! I also loved to see Parker and Jacqueline again^^

Jacqueline has had a tough upbringing, with few people to rely on, her relationship with Parker was what kept her going. After he broke her heart, Jacqueline resorted back to her darkest escapes, barely living.
Lee has always been a lady's man, going from one girl to the next, but all that changed when he met Madalynne. Falling head over heels, he put his heart on the line, only for her to chose her childhood sweetheart.
With both slowly building bridges again, they get set up with each other, discovering that not all things broken can't be fixed.
