Good
I really liked this book a lot, I wanted to love ❤ it. The characters were interesting and sometimes annoying.
Two rival families, Conrad and Selene they were definitely attracted to each other if their kisses were any indication.
The other characters were ok.
The plot and the storyline were ok, too.
It started to get better at the end. And then it Ended with a
CLIFFHANGER! I hate them.

got this book to read because it was the #1 free book on Apple Books lists a few weeks ago. It is a fast easy quick read that leaves you lusting for more. especially that cliffhanger at the very end. wow! I will be reading the rest of this series.

The content was more about the tension between these two characters rather than their relationship. It’s a mob twist on the rivals trope. The family dynamics are interesting, but I didn’t really enjoy the writing.
