Sadie carries herself with an air of elegance and grace. It was practiced though, curated by it’s very nature. She appears so far removed from his world that it is almost laughable trying to place her in it.
But when she meets Cole and runs her manicured fingers across his club tattoo, she knows that things are about to change.
But is she willing to dive back into the belly of the underworld for him? And, does he even want her to?
“Gone was the shy, uncertain girl putting up a front of elegance and sophistication. Here, beneath Cole, I was wild - released from my own inhibitions.”
Sadie is a woman running from a complicated past, and Cole is everything that her past represents. The one thing about Cole though? Once he decides that he wants something, he is lethal in its pursuit
Born and raised in South Africa, Erin thrived on stories and the art of story telling. A long stint in marketing saw her move across the world, settling in rural North Italy with her Husband, two children and a cat.
She now hones her craft of story telling in creating tales that she herself would want to read.
There were funny moments, sexy moments and adventurous moments. Highly recommended if you’re needing a break from the ground hog day that is life. You will not want to put this book down!!!
What a great read. I loved the characters, and it was nice to read an MC book by an author that is educated on the subject. I love Cole and Sadie, angsty, steamy and down right sexy. This is the first book I've read by this author and was not disappointed, Erin a fab writer and I can't wait for the rest of the series.= - I need to read more of Ammo. This is a dark MC romance which needs to be read by everyone.
I liked this one okay. It was a quick read and it's a series that I'm guessing goes right into the next book, given the cliffhanger at the end of this book. I've never been around bikers and MCs in my life, but it's becoming a favorite troupe of mine. It's fascinating, but I really struggled with Cole being some billionaire businessman and also Pres and lives in the clubhouse? It was weird.
This book was spicy for sure, but I really needed more out of Cole and Sadie. I mean, they didn't even say I love you! Just went right into "Christmas with Dad" and fade to black. WHA????? So I'm actually really invested in Ammo and Vivienne and will be reading their book, but if it's more of this shit that I was annoyed with in this book then...I don't know. I'm gonna read it but I'm gonna complain about it!
Not gonna lie, but for a moment I didn’t think this was a MC romance. But just WOW! The way the story progressed had me swiping the pages non stop!
And have you ever, when you start reading the first book of the series and see all these new characters, just thought to yourself ‘I wish this character get his own story’? Well I did. I thought about Travis having his own story!!! And Hammer too!!!
When Sadie finds herself facing her one night stand Cole as the newest investor they know their hot one night will turn to more. Sadie isn't looking for a relationship and Cole is living for his MC, their push and pull is electric you know there good together and just want to bang some heads together! Sadie knows Coles lifestyle is something she wants to avoid, history wont repeat itself for her if she can help it but Coles determined to have the chance can they go the distance? This story has you hooked from the get go! the character draw you in and not just the main ones, I cant wait to see where the series leads.
Catching Cole by Erin Mc Luckie Moya is the first book in the Hell Hounds MC series. This book was super steamy and very well written. Catching Cole is a one-night stand turned “no strings” workplace romance that becomes something so much more.
Sadie, an intellectual, confident woman with the freedom to work from any place in the world visits Chicago while on a business trip. Sadie doesn’t do relationships, so listening to her friend’s advice Sadie decides to pursue a one-night stand with Cole. Cole is a hot, sexy, suave, protective, tattooed hunk of a man. After their explosive night, they meet again the following morning at a conference where Cole is the investor on the project Sadie is working on. Realizing one night isn’t enough they embark on a no-strings relationship which soon turns into a real relationship.
Cole and Sadie had explosive chemistry and instant attraction. These two fit together so well. Seeing as they’re both from the MC world, they understood each other. The spicy level was scorching, and I loved the twists, turns, drama, and tension.
I felt the pacing of this novel wasn’t as consistent throughout. There were some scenes that were slow and others were rushed, but I thoroughly enjoyed this hot, steamy read!
Catching Cole is the first in Erin McLuckie Moya’s Hell Hound MC series. One night stand turns into workplace romance in this steamy read.
While on a business trip, Sadie lays eyes on a sexy tattooed hunk. Taking the advice of a friend, she indulged in a delicious one night stand. Thinking that’s the last time she’ll ever see him, she gets the shock of her life when he shows up in her business meeting.
Sadie has commitment issues. Cole is enjoying his MC lifestyle, but neither can resist the intensive pull towards each other. Their chemistry is explosive and they fit together perfectly.
I loved the storyline and the characters. The twists, drama, and tension give this story a great vibe. I absolutely enjoyed this book.
Let me start by saying I did enjoy this. A lot. It was a good story with strong characters and mix between MC and romance.
But, though it was set in the UK and Europe, it didn't feel very British or European, with quite a few American terms scattered throughout, along with quite a few grammatical errors.
I have never been one to pick up an MC romance and I'm so glad that I did. I was entertained and enthralled throughout the entire read. Erin definitely knows how to write a man that is for sure.
I’ve gotten so used to MC romances being dark, that this one took me by surprise, especially the hero, Cole, he was…sweet? Sadie was a spitfire. She gave as good as she got. The drama wasn’t as gripping as I’d like it to be and that’s the reason for my 3 stars.
Disclaimer: I received a free ARC from the author in exchange for a fair review.
I've never really been one for MC romances, but I figured I would give Catching Cole a shot anyway—and it did not disappoint!
Sadie is a freelancer living in Luxembourg, who deliberately has very few ties to—well, anyone. She's a bit of a mystery, and yet I couldn't help but love her from the very first page. She's a classy woman, but there's definitely something going on under the surface. When she travels to Chicago for business she has a one-night stand with Cole that is simply out of this world.
And then he's the primary investor on the project she travelled for in the first place.
They fall into an exclusive, no-strings-attached sexual relationship for the duration of the project—and yeah, you can see where that's going, of course they both catch feelings. But Cole isn't just some bigshot investor, he's also the President of a motorcycle gang—the very lifestyle that Sadie's spent her entire adulthood running from.
I don't want to give too much away, but there are some masterful twists as Sadie's backstory and family history is revealed and the last few chapters are absolutely thrilling. I loved the dynamic she has with Cole, and how absolutely certain he was that he wanted her for real but was willing to wait for her to catch up. And that's to say nothing of their chemistry, which is off the damn charts. Seriously, those sex scenes are fire.
I did think that Sadie changed her mind about relationships a little quickly, and I'd have liked to see some more of her thought process and emotional journey regarding that. Ultimately though, she and Cole are a really well-matched pair, and I'm already eagerly awaiting book two in the series (I might be a little in love with Axel, don't judge me).
Give me a biker who can also wear suit by day and boss men by night in leather anytime!
Cole is not your normal Prez from a biker club, BUT I love that about him. The author did an amazing job of character building of Cole. Sadie isn’t wanting a relationship, but give her Cole and one night things change. She can’t run from her past when things come to light, but I loved how she didn’t run from it. Cole was super patient with her as she came to terms of her feelings for Cole and the biker life again. This book set the stage for an amazing series. So many fun characters in this book.
Amazing, interesting, intriguing, the story is well written and will keep your attention. And the characters are a great addition, the chemistry and the feels it give would make you fall for them. Definitely a must read.
First of all, I would like to thank Erin for giving me an advance reading copy in exchange for an honest review.
Catching Cole starts as a story of two young people meeting by chance and starting a very passionate relationship. That passion is very vividly described throughout, so brace yourself for some hot sex scenes. It turns out Cole and Sadie have quite a few common friends, all revolving around biker clubs. Plot thickens towards the end, when passionate scenes are replaced by proper action thriller scenes. And an open ending invites into the next installment of the series. Keep it up Erin, great writing!
This book does everything you'd expect it to do, and more. I did really enjoy this one, and found myself liking our main girl Sadie a lot more than expected! I also didn't expect the plot to be that in depth or intriguing either but I really enjoyed that too! On the other hand, THAT ENDING! I need answers asap.
What I liked: -The main characters -The background plot -The romance!!! -The writing style! -The structure -The steam ;)
What let it down: (and I say this lightly as this is just me being nit-picky!) -How quickly Sadie changed her mind on relationships- I was ready for some more inner turmoil -Some steamy scenes also felt a bit too quick and over. I understand that was the whole point for a few of them but I think some could have been really great if fleshed out that little bit more!
"The next time I hear another male's name on your lips while my fingers are inside of you there will be consequences. Do you understand?" - Cole
"I wasn't completely oblivious to the misogyny that was David. Every time he wanted to make an impression on someone, I was the little pawn he pulled out." - Sadie
"We all have demons and shit we try to escape from, but at some point you have to make a choice to not let those things define you and affect every decision you make." - Cole
Sadie is trying to avoid the MC world, but when Cole walks into her life, all bets are off. And it gets so hot, so quickly.
The plot kept me turning pages, and the ending was definitely a surprise!!! I highly enjoyed this spicy little read. I will definitely be picking up book 2!!!
It has been a hot minute since I have read a biker romance and this one did not disappoint! Sadie and Cole’s chemistry was on point and I loved the club dynamic. I will say that the ending is leaving me with all kinds of predictions that are making me impatient for the sequel! Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶🌶🌶 Readability: Fast Paced
Looking for your next MC Romance, I've just discovered a new author and this book did not disappoint. Full of drama, action and smut this is the story of Cole ( Prez of Hell Hounds London ) and Sadie ( former biker princess, who has sworn off bikers and relationships in general). Actual Rating 4.5
“Even from a distance, there was something about him that excited me. Maybe the edge of danger that he seemed to enclose himself in?”
Catching Cole is book 1 of the MC Hell Hounds series. Catching Cole is sexy, funny, and adventurous. I could not put this book down, I literally read it in one day. ONE.
Sadie is the embodiment of everyone trying to escape their past. She moves to another country even though her job can be done almost completely remotely. She also has perfected and practiced an elegant and graceful personality. Sadie has not dated, doesn’t really socialize, and works a ton. She never just lets loose for fear of her true personality slipping out. All of this gradually begins to change when she meets a rugged business investor named Cole.
Cole is a sexy, tattooed, and fit male. He is everything that Sadie desires but tries to resist. When she thinks he is just a man in a suit she follows her friend’s advice and goes for it. Once she sees the club tattoo she realizes she slept with just the type of MC male she was trying to avoid
Sadie and Cole’s relationship burns hot right from the beginning. For once, it is the male that wants a relationship and the female who has commitment issues. Cole works his way into Sadie’s life and heart as they go from a one-night stand to a possible relationship.
I also enjoyed the motorcycle club atmosphere of most of the book. The dynamics and situations that occur within the MC are entertaining and thrilling, making them an excellent read.
Also, it is worth mentioning that the author is clearly educated about motorcycle clubs and uses it throughout the story. Erin is such a fantastic writer, I cannot wait to read the next book in the series Vindictively Vicious.
It was supposed to be a one night stand. No promises, no strings attached. Just letting off some steam and having a good time! Or better said a hot as hell time!
That's what Sadie made sure to clarify, before she took the hot guy to her room. The one she met on her business trip and decided to go bold and spend some time with. She didn't even want to know his name was Cole. She's not into relationships. Doesn't want them and doesn't do them. And the hot hunk agreed.
But when they found each other face to face the next morning because the hot hunk happened to be involved in Sadie's business deal, the no strings policy was something both of them started to plan around. Cole more than Sadie to be exact, but our little minx didn't seem to put up much of a fight either. She likes the guy and sex with him is mind-blowingly hot, but that doesn't mean she'll agree to any of those strings a relationship involves. Especially when it's going to be with a member of an MC club. Sadie swore she won't have anything to do with any of those anymore.
Sadie is a woman running from a complicated past, and Cole is everything that her past represents. The one thing about Cole though? Once he decides that he wants something, he is lethal in its pursuit. And how can he not want Sadie?
Their story is one addictive hell of a ride! Off the chart chemistry, smoking hot smut and a fast thrilling pace complete with a couple of absolutely unpredictable twists towards the end when the plot really thickens and practically keeps you at the edge of the seat biting your nails. Great characters, secondary cast included, a solid plot with a good depth and a good amount of feeling. Not quite as dark as other books in the genre but with an extra measure of passion and a lot of heat. I personally would have preferred a bit more angst, darkness and action and little less steam, but then, that is just me.
All in all, Catching Cole is a great quick and hot read that's bound to appeal to any reader in search for a hot sexy read.
🔥 Sadie and Cole are a forest fire away from burning it all down! 🔥Together their chemistry was explosive and I loved their story.
***Sadie takes a work trip for a job she was so excited to get. Why not enjoy a sexy one night stand before her work begins in the hotel? Only her sexy one night stand is the new investor for this job she’s been dying for. When one night turns into two, should it turn into more? And what’s more is Sadie has a past she’s worked very hard to keep hidden. Cole turns out to be the one thing that can bring her past back up and center. He wants to bring Sadie into it, but he has no clue of what Sadie keeps hidden.
Can the two form a relationship after a no-strings-commitment? Will Coles life be too much for Sadie?
**** Man, I did not want this book to end! The series continues but I want so much more of Sadie and Cole. They were a powerhouse and I’d love to see how their future plays out. The characters were both intriguing and made you want to learn more. The instant connection was perfect as they both just wanted no strings originally but had such a strong connection, it was inevitable. I loved this book and am looking forward to more.
*Overall 5/5 *Heat? 4/5 *First person POV (Sadie and Cole *No triggers *MF relationship *HEA? Yes
Sadie is a very classy, cold-hearted woman on the surface, but that’s just a mask she wears to hide her painful past. But once she meets tattooed businessman Cole, she knows that the life she has very carefully built for herself is about to fall down in pieces. Cole is a biker, and she once swore she’d never get mixed up in the club life again. But maybe this time, she’s found someone who’s worth it.
Wow!!! This book was incredibly steamy, and I loved it. Sadie, despite the face she puts on for the rest of the world, is a caring woman who just needed someone to balance her out. Cole is that person. As for Cole, I think he was intense, but in a good way. Sadie and Cole’s relationship was extremely passionate, and I loved reading about their interactions. The action in this book was also amazingly well written! Can’t wait to see what happens in book two!
First things first; I really like the cover of this book! Catching Cole is the first book in the ‘’hell hounds MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Catching Cole is the first book of Erin MC Luckie Moya’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Sadie grew up around bikers. Now an adult, she stays away from bikers. When she meets an investor for her job, sparks fly but will love blossom when she learns he is a biker? The chemistry between Sadie and Cole is clear to see and I liked them together. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
Catching Cole is the 1st book in the Hell Hounds MC series.
Sadie runs into a sexy, tattooed bad boy while on a trip. She does something she has never done before, and has a one night stand with him that is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. She thinks they will never see each other again, but little does she know, he will be in her next business meeting.
Sadie is trying to keep her distance from the MC life, but being with Cole pulls her right into the middle of it.
You will be glued to Sadie and Coles story, dying to know what happens next, and the spice is *chefs kiss*. Erin blows me away everytime I read a book by her. Now I'm diving into Vindictively Vicious!!!
Hot damn, this is a scorcher! Not your average MC read either. I loved Cole from the instant I met him, and of course, I wanted him with Sadie straight away. I was not disappointed. Sadie is one feisty lady, a biker chick at heart, but also a successful businesswoman. Does she get pulled back into the MC life by our deliciously hot and growly Cole? Well, I'm not telling, you will need to read this steamy number for yourself to find out. Believe me, you will thank me later. I have, of course, downloaded the next book because I cannot get enough of these hot as hell men.
