Y'all, it's mine, so I probably can't objectively claim that this is a five-star book. Readers can decide whether it's a helpful resource (I sure hope it will be!). But I have a toddler and a newborn plus a leadership job in public education during the pandemic at the time of publication, so I'm entering this review as my official claim that this book was FOR REAL a five-star effort! It's been a labor of professional love, and I sincerely hope it's useful to you fine folks out there.

Full disclosure - Sarah Searles is the library media services supervisor in the district where and I work and she is an absolute treasure.

That being said, this is one of the most useful professional titles I’ve read about school librarianship. Sarah provides a framework for improving your own practice and seeking new learning while also deeply delving into the competencies covered in the Explore shared foundation.
