Simon is a small seahorse with a BIG imagination. But when he loses his special pearl after taking it to "Sea and Tell" at school, even Simon has a hard time imagining a happy ending. With the help of his many-handed octopus best friend, Olive, Simon searches new depths of the sea.

Anthropomorphic fiction fans will probably like this undersea story. There are some interesting ocean facts sprinkled throughout, but I wish there had been some additional factual back matter.

Simon Seahorse loves to tell stories! He is very excited to bring in his lucky pearl for sea-and-tell at school. After school, he can't find his pearl anywhere! Tracking it down may lead to his best story yet...

I felt like there was too much going on in such a basic book. The illustrations are super cute though.
