Gorgeous. Smart. Armed with a secret weapon.
The young ATF agent was supposed to be a one night thing.
But then she woke up the alpha protector in me.

Little did I know that her mission would strike me square in my cold, dead heart.
And for the first time in ten years I wanted something more.

But the complications are as big as the firefighting helicopter that I fly.

Because I’m the pilot assigned to her case…
And the man who can’t stay away from her.

And she’s the Agent chasing an arsonist in my small town…
And the woman that refuses to see me for what I am - a broken loner.

The stakes in this collision are high. Her career and everything I know.

Because Skye’s the kind of woman that makes a man dream…
Of being a father.
And promises of forever.

But I’m not the only one with her in his sights.
And when he tries to take her from me...
I know my heart isn’t cold and dead anymore because it’s on fire to get her back safely.

Saving Skye is a steamy, damaged hero, alpha protector, age gap, suspense romance with explosive feels,, a surprise pregnancy, and an enchanted Happy Ever After ending.

Full of action and steam, this standalone book is part of the Eden Mountain Firefighters collection and can be read completely as a standalone. No cheating & no cliffhangers. Read Larson & Skye’s story tonight! I promise to only keep you up a little bit late…. wink, wink.

Dangerous heat. Unforgettable heroes. Sizzling happy-ever-afters.

Thanks so much for checking out my bio. I'm Jenna Gunn, author of over 25 romance novels including multiple best selling titles.

My passion is writing thrilling action, high heat, suspense and rescuer romance books with fun and unexpected plot twists.

I love deep characters who overcome pain, mistrust, and damaged pasts to find their way alongside the mate of their dreams.

The men and women in my books have flaws, heart, fears and passion, just like we do—layers that make them slip into your heart.

All of my books are first person and include two Point of View. I mainly write MF contemporary romance, but have written MFM menage. It was super fun to write with three POVs.

Many books are in a series so you get to know the families, (5 brothers in the Archer Brothers Series, 5 brothers in The Eden Mountain Firefighters, and Teammates in the Agile Security and Rescue Series). All of the books are standalone and can be enjoyed that way too.

I've accomplished my dream as an author when my reader can drop into a book and forget the rest of the world.

In addition to dreaming up delicious heroes, I'm an avid to traveler, surfer, snow skier, and water lover. I'm known to spend long periods on the road with the husband and our pup in our camper van where I always pick up inspiration for my next book. “The gloomy cool weather matches the landscape inside of my heart.

Flexing my hands, I feel the scars on my skin pull taunt. Jagged lines cross this way and that over my knuckles and fingertips.
Over the last ten years the nicks and cuts, burns, and holes have added up as I did everything I could to morph my sadness into something outside of myself.”

Larson Strong is the second Strong brother in this series. Like his brother Liam, he’s also a firefighter and he’s also damaged.
He’s a helicopter pilot, he build houses and anything with wood and metal (by hand) and the man also bakes! Give me a Larson please... I’m in dire need of one! 😅
Larson has had a terrible tragedy strike is life 10 years ago when he lost the love of his life. 10 long years in which he has closed of his heart and convinced himself that he isn’t worthy of any love. That he convinced himself that he’s better alone and that he’ll always be.

“What’s up buttercup? You’re about as friendly as a porcupine tonight.”
I mumble, “Just tired.”
“Well, it has been a pretty fast and furious few weeks. And someone did stay up far too late last night. ”
“Drop it.” I mutter.”

Skye Kelly is the ATF agent in charge of investigating a series of fires that seem somehow connected. She and her partner Max Stone, have connected the fires and think they’re the work of a serial arsonist.
Skye decided to become an agent, when tragedy strikes her family.

“And, man, just to warn you. Don’t push your luck with the little lady here. She might look like she’s all prim and proper in her navy blazer, but she’s got bite… and probably some bullets”

Skye is fearless, a well trained agent and she loves her routine. Her life is very well thought out, until a certain “Tank” comes barreling into her life.

“The last thing I want to do is be trapped inside the cockpit with little-miss-snappy and her six-foot three, two-hundred fifty pound watchdog.”

I did love Larson and Skye’s love story. It’s full of angst, of hard choices, of overcoming obstacles and limitations. Is about shaking your core beliefs and makings you wish and want for something you never even thought you’d have.

Also loved the side characters! Again, Nolene Strong is my favorite! I absolutely love that woman!
I was happy to see that Liam and Sophia are two characters that make cameos in this book. You don’t need to read book one (their story) to read this book, but I highly recommend it.
Also loved Max Stone. I hope we gets his own story someday! I’m rooting for his happy ending.

The only reason I’m not giving this book 5 stars is because of the spelling. There weren’t a lot of orthography errors but the ones that were there were pretty flagrant.

Arc kindly provided by the author.

The instant attraction was there, they were both hurting, it was only meant to be a sizzling one night hook up until......
Sky Kelly and her co worker Max Stone had travelled more than a thousand miles from Chicago to Utah, both were agents for the ATF and were investigating a number of fires across a wide area and now thought to be arson.
When they walked into the fire meeting in the country town Skye was horrified to see her one night stand in the room.
Lawson Strong and his brothers were all firefighters, as was their father before them, ten years after the death of his fiancé in a fire Lawson was still grieving. Skye was fighting her own demons, her brother was in prison and her parents were dead, could these two damaged souls get past their wounded hearts and work together.
This is a story of two people with very different backgrounds, Skye was a lonely city girl, Lawson was a country boy with a very strong supportive family but was still lonely, there is suspicion, mistrust, danger but most of all an awakening passion between Skye and Lawson. An enjoyable story.

This book is part of the Eden Mountain Firefighters Series but can be read as a standalone. Skye is an ATF investigator hot on the trail of an arsonist when she is paired up with Larson, a helicopter firefighter. Their chemistry was off the charts and one night was a given. But was it enough? How did she wake up a ten year dead heart? What made him want more? How did all this effect her career? What happens when Larson has competition for her Heart? What happens when that one night left a permanent reminder? This was a great slow burn romance with twists, drama and angst. No cheating or cliffhanger and guaranteed hard to put down once you start reading. The characters are great and the story line is engaging. I read a free arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.

OMG I love this family. These brothers are all strong men with fire in their blood and the women that they’ll move heaven and earth to protect. Larson and Skye meet under unorthodox circumstances. He’s there to meet a client and visit the cemetery. She’s on a case with the ATF but he doesn’t know that. No names are exchanged only hot smoking chemistry. This was to be a one night stand but her job leads her to his home town and him. If I say this was a forest fire waiting to happen, believe me. This fire was out of control. You’ll love this family and the love that they share for one another.

Even a strong woman needs a strong man!

These two badly hurting individuals were so perfect for each other! Even though their first meeting - a one night stand - didn't seem like it was going to lead anywhere, these two ended up finding each other far away from where they had first met. I wasn't too surprised at the arsonist that Skye was trying to find (I suspected him from their initial contact), the circumstances surrounding the arsonist had a little bit of a different twist to it.

This was an enjoyable read. Skye and Larson have a one night stand. Then when she gets to her new job she realizes this where he is at. Of course they continue to see each other. However, some complications come up but in the end everything works out for them.

Larson and Skye's Story . . .

Larson Strong and Skye Kelly meet by chance when both are in Chicago. They are drawn together and have a passionate night with no names exchanged. It was cathartic for both of them. But they didn’t expect to see each other again.

But as Skye is the ATF investigating agent chasing down an arsonist, she is paired up with Larson, a helicopter firefighter, in Utah and is shocked to find her pilot is the man she spent the night with and can’t forget. Their chemistry was off the charts and one night was a given. But seeing him again now, was it enough? Skye is also beginning to suspect that the death of Larson’s fiancée 10 years ago might be related to this same serial arsonist she is chasing. Will Larson ever be able to put the past behind him and find happiness with Skye?

Fate Brings Them Together

The instant heat between Skye and Larson will grab your attention and the next thing you know it’s 3:00 am and you’ve finished the book! Jenna Gunn has quickly become one of my favorite authors by continually create characters that have depth, are interesting, and in need of some love. The plot lines and family dynamics of her series are unique and keep me interested.

The way Larson “collides” into Skye when they first meet is funny and coincidentally they find themselves sitting next to each other at the bar after their run-in. After they exchange some witty banter, they seem to communicate clearly with looks alone. That leads them to Larson’s hotel room where he treats Skye with respect and gives her an out if she doesn’t want a one night stand. The note he leaves in the morning was sweet.

After that one night in Chicago, they run into each other again in Eden and both of them are caught by surprise at seeing the other. From there they just keep running into each and their lives begin to intertwine. Their relationship is an emotional roller coaster, many ups and downs, amazing sex, and frustration as each goes thru periods of being unsure about the relationship.

As Skye investigates the suspicious fires, the assistance from Larson becomes invaluable and leads her to conclude it is arson. She gets into a few situations and Larson is there to save her, such as when she comes across a rattlesnake in the forest. One of the sweetest and romantic moment is when Larson drives Skye back to the condo, there is hot sex followed by Larson putting her to bed and leaving. Skye said she need sleep and like a man in love, he listens and leaves her alone. Other moments include when Skye figures out she loves him and makes a decision about her career and when Logan figures out it is okay to love someone again and that someone is Skye.

They way the Strong Family is accepting of Skye when she attends Sunday dinner truly shows the goodness of the family as well as the way they are there to support Larson. The family has a unique bond and strength that is good for Skye, who lost her parents a few years earlier.

Their story includes mystery and suspense in regards to the arson fires, giving the book more depth then just romance and a surprise baby. One point of mystery is Skye and Larson’s story really begins before they actually meet in person as they are linked to an event from the past. You can truly say fate has brought them together.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I am a fan of Jenna Gunn. I have read quite a few of books written by her and have enjoyed them. Saving Skye lives up to what I have come to expect from her. There is romance, action and a mystery all balled up into Saving Skye. Larson Strong is one of the five Strong brothers. All but one fights wild fires. Larson lost the woman he loved over 10 years ago. He is living with the pain every day. Skye lost her family and throws all of her energy into her job as an ATF agent. Larson and Skye spend one night together...no names, no promises.

Back to their individual lives both find the other seeping into their thoughts and dreams. Skye can't help but think about how life with Larson would be. Larson can't believe that he felt something wonderful with Skye. He hasn't felt anything but pain in ten long years.

When Skye and her partner show up in Eden to investigate the possibility of a serial arsonist, what's going to happen when Skye comes face to face with Larson? Larson and Skye have a combustible chemistry. Larson acts all alpha and macho stepping up to protect Skye when she's not sure she needs it. She is an stubborn, independent career woman.

The Larson family is quite the family. I love Nolan, the boy's mother. She is a strong woman who takes no gruff from her boys and expects much from them. The brother's have a powerful, loyalty that exists between brothers. They won't allow Larson to wallow in his pain and stick up for each other fiercely. I love the family and enjoy seeing this family interact. The town is ripe with interesting townsfolk, all of whom have a story.

The Eden Mountain Firefighters could be read as a stand alone but then you would miss getting to know the other brothers. Saving Skye has characters you can't help but love and their story will keep your reading.

The chemistry between Skye and Larson is incendiary. A chance meeting on a day they are both emotionally wrung out, a very passionate night neither can forget, and then they discover they need to work together on a case that brings them both more emotional pain. Skye is an ATF agent intent on bringing a serial arsonist to justice and the investigation brings her to Larson’s home town. He hadn’t given his name on the night they met, not even in his brief thanks, but so long note. Now she finds out that he is a builder, a helicopter pilot and a fireman. He is also grieving his fiancée who had been a victim in one of the fires set by the arsonist Skye and her partner are chasing. Seeing him again incites all the feelings she has been trying to deny as well as the fierce desire that threatens to overwhelm her. Larson doesn’t know what to feel when he sees Skye again. He can admire her dedication to her job, but the case she is on brings back a lot of pain. He finds himself unable to stay away from Skye, and unable to control his need to slake his desire for her. All he knows is Skye somehow eases the pain in his heart, brings a lightness to his previously dark life. Poor Skye is beyond conflicted. Larson and his brothers have become suspects in her arson case and it is her duty to investigate them. That fact along with a personal revelation make her job painfully uncomfortable. Will she follow the dictates of her heart to allow her relationship with Larson to flourish, or her head and continue the investigation which will force distance between them? Read this deftly-written, sexy, angsty and captivatingly suspenseful book to discover what happens next for this fascinating couple.

Skye is an ATF agent that has been working on a case involving a serial arsonist that crosses state lines.  She is driven and focused on her career and getting promoted.  She is a loner.  Larson is a contractor, firefighter, and helicopter pilot that works in his small town.  He has built a wall around his heart and has not let anyone in for more than ten years.  While Larson is visiting the Chicago area, he meets Skye at a local bar and grill.  The attraction is instant and the chemistry is off the charts leading to one beautiful night together.  Imagine both of their surprise when Skye shows up in Utah at the small town fire station Larson works out of.  Now the two must learn how to work together despite their already explosive attraction.  Can these two navigate their own attraction and issues while solving who is behind the multiple fires?

This is a great romantic suspense.  Gunn weaves a story with twists and turns leaving you wondering who is setting the fires.  She has wonderfully well developed characters with depth.  Love the Strong family!  They are as their name implies, Strong through thick and thin while accepting others into their fold.  Skye is a courageously fierce strong female and she knows exactly what she wants and is good at her job.  When her job and heart collide, she must look deep inside to figure out what she wants most in her life.  This is such a sweet yet page turning story.  Although, this is the second book in the series and I have not read the first, I did not feel I was missing anything.  I am definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

HOT! I adored this couple. The plot was wonderful and flowed smoothly (at least to me it did.) It was written in a dual POV format. That really helped here. There were times that getting that glimpse into the thoughts really helped me to better understand and connect with the characters.

Larson is a damaged man. His fiancee (Candace) died in a fire about 10 years ago. He flies a helicopter to combat wildfires in the area and surrounding locations. He bakes wonderful treats for the family for Sunday dinners. He enjoys baking as it was something that Candace loved. In fact, she was going to open a bakery in town.

Skye is an agent for the ATF. She is a strong woman determined to find out if several fires are actually the results of a serial arsonist. She meets a handsome man at her favorite bar in Chicago. One thing leads to another and the two are having a one-night stand in his hotel room across the street. The handsome man is gone in the morning. No names or phone numbers were exchanged (except for Skye's first name).

Skye and a fellow agent go to Utah on a lead. It is there that Skye comes face to face with her handsome one-night stand, Larson Strong. The sparks just fly around these two characters.

The author skillfully weaves the romance into a hunt for clue to the wildfires. Who is doing this? What is the connection between them? Can they stop the arsonist before another fire occurs? Well you will have to read the book to find out the answers to these and other questions.

While this is a part of a series, you don't have to read the prior one to fully understand and appreciate this one. A word of caution though, this is a sexy read with several scenes that may offend someone if they only like the sweet romances.

LOVING This Series by Jenna Gunn!
Oh my goodness! I can’t get enough of the Eden Mountain Firefighters series by Jenna Gunn! Not long ago, I essentially begged the author at the end of my review of Book 1 to bring us more of the Strong Family and the volunteer firefighting crew of Eden, Utah. Needless to say, I was so excited when I discovered Book 2, “Saving Skye.” The story is suspenseful, steamy, and jam-packed with the amazing characters I fell in love with in the first title. This installment focuses on Larson Strong (brother of Liam from “Saving Sophia”), a contractor, helicopter pilot, and volunteer firefighter who has been through some crushing heartache. He is gorgeous, protective, and a bit of a loner, but ATF agent Skye Kelly lights up a fire in him that has been dormant for a decade. Skye is driven, beautiful, and well-acquainted with pain and loss. From the moment they meet, the sparks fly, and their chemistry is intense. As with Book 1, Gunn hits us in the feels with raw emotion, pearl-clutching heat, and the danger and intrigue brought on by the serial arson case that throws these two together. Fans of “Saving Sophia” get their fix of the lovable cast of relatable, genuine characters (along with new favorites like Skye’s very hot partner, Max Stone), and Gunn also does a wonderful job of weaving everyone in without making brand-new readers feel like they’re missing some important information from the first title in the lineup. So, so looking forward to Book 3!!! Five well-deserved stars for this one, Jenna Gunn!

Saving Skye" was a heart melting, wonderful rush of romance mixed with suspense as Larson Strong and Skye Kelly manoeuver falling in love while solving a crime of arson that spans nationwide USA. Strong as his name implies is a rock hard, helicopter pilot, contractor and a lot more surprising talents (wink) mountain of a man like the Utah mountains in which he resides. Skye is an ATF agent, brave, industrious and driven woman whose first encounter with our hero ends up in an uninhabited display of sexual awareness quite unlike her character. The book kept the suspense element on equal level with the romantic aspect and this was what held my interest to the end! Jenna Gunn managed to keep me entranced by her vivid descriptions of the scenery driving through the state roads and the aerial views as Larson pilots his chopper in the air. Her inclusion of minor characters too were well developed, the Strong brothers and Agent Maxwell Stone, Skye's trusty partner on the police force. We get to know them personally, trust them all as good, law abiding citizens protecting each other and society while an arsonist is at large. I loved the romance that steadily brewed between Skye and Larson with some scintillating love scenes as they navigate work, family and love.

I received an ARC copy for which I voluntarily posted a review.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!

Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
Skye an FBI agent working on the fires that have been started across the country thinking she is chasing a serial arsonist to put a stop to the damages. Larson a sexy as all get out do it all guy of guy, a firefighter, pilot and builds homes and one evening he meets the sexy Skye in Chicago while out having a drink fast forward a bit and they meet again she needs him to take her to one of the fires started but the more time they spend with each other the more they realize the chemistry is hotter than any fire that could chase and just as intense neither of them can’t resist the magnetic pull. What happens when life throws in a few twist /turns can they weather the storm and will they find happiness?

OVERALL RATING –4 stars

RECOMMENDED FOR: those that like moody fireman heroes and intelligent independent heroines

First my usual points:

- I do not do spoilers unless warned.
- Read the summary above; it will tell you what the book is about. I will not reiterate.
- This is a standalone but part of a series. It’s best enjoyed in order as it references events from the first book which is a separate couple
- No errors that I caught as far as editing.
- The author was not new to me

BOOK:
- Contemporary romance/slight working relationship
- 1st person with dual POV
Other characters from the series:
-- other characters from the first books make appearances with slight involvement of a supporting, move the story along type
-- main characters’ story is concluded

Star Ratings - 1 (poor) - 5(READ THIS BOOK)
· Writing Quality: 5 stars (just enough detail)
· Story ingredient: 5 stars
· Ease of reading/Pace: 5 stars, hooked from page one
· Plot strength: 5 stars
· Steam Level: 4 stars; romance but not explicit
· Uniqueness Factor: 4 stars

Notes/Opinion (personal):
I read the first book in the series so I was familiar with our Hero. This was an enjoyable simple read which moved along easily.

Skye is an ATF agent who has a one night stand with a guy she meets at a bar in Chicago. He leaves the next morning and she doesn’t even know his name. She is sent to Utah to investigate some fires and meets Larson, her one night stand from Chicago. Larson is her pilot while she is investigating some suspicious fires. 10 years ago Larson’s fiancé died in a fire and Skye believes it might have involved the serial arsonist who is still active. Skye and Larson grow closer but can Larson let go of the past and find happiness with Skye?

I enjoyed this story about the former one night stand couple who are now brought together by their jobs. The author did a fantastic job explaining how Larson was still dealing with his fiancé’s death and now the possibility that the serial arsonist that he is helping Skye investigate was involved in his fiancé’s death. Skye was also dealing with the pregnancy from their one night stand as well as a dangerous arsonist. I enjoyed the romance and suspense in this story. The epilogues were a great ending for their story.

This is one hot firefighter love story. Larson is one of five firefighters in his family. He pilots a helicopter fighting wildland fires in Utah. A brief business trip related to his construction business has him meeting ATF agent Skye.
Skye is based in Chicago. She's tough as nails on the job and works crazy hours trying to get a promotion and raise so she can buy a house. She's a tad strange in that she's never been around dogs, ridden a horse, been around animals in general or experienced much of what makes a typical day for Larson.
Besides the wicked hot chemistry between Larson and Skye is mutual appreciation for each other's personality. They each have deep sorrowfilled baggage that haunts them. Being together alleviates the pain.
Meeting up again, quite by accident, Skye is tasked with solving a crime for the ATF involving arson. More great firefighter stories flow out of Jenna Gunn's pen.
It wouldn't be a good mystery without sone crime, violence, and a hotshot rescue. Be prepared to love these characters... except for that fight.

This was suspenseful. When a series of fires across the US brings Skye and Max into play, where does she meet Larson? Who is Larson? What does he do for a living? What do Sky and Max do for a living? What interesting thing do we find Skye doing that is so very out of character for her? When Skye and Max end up in Utah, what happens? Why are they there? What do we learn about the fires? When flowers are sent to Skye, what does the note say and what does that prompt her to do? Why does she see Liam earlier that day? I loved Sophia and her openness and willingness to help Skye. When Skye goes to the farmer's market, just to get out and enjoy the fresh air, what happens? There are some doozies as far as twists and turns in this story. It kept me on the edge of my seat reading the story! I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

She walked into my fire station and ignited an inferno.
A dangerous thing around a hot blooded alpha male like me.

When Skye showed up I knew there was gonna be trouble.
Because her mission was to stop the arsonist.
And my mission was to forget the night we shared.

But best laid plans get wrecked.
Especially when the perpetrator of the attack on your sanity can see right into your soul.
And gets assigned to work with you.

So while the pretty ATF agent chases clues in my small town, I realize my mission to stay away from her is impossible.

Turns out she isn't only cracking the case, she's cracking open the rock inside my chest.
Then he tries to take her from me.
But he doesn't know what kind of force he's dealing with.
Because I'll stop at nothing to get her back safely.

Saving Skye is a steamy, alpha protector, suspense romance with explosive feels, a baby, and an enchanted Happy Ever After ending.

Full of action and heat, this standalone book is part of the Eden Mountain Firefighters collection and can be read completely on its own. No cheating & no cliffhangers. Read Larson & Skye’s story tonight!

I voluntarily read an arc of this book and am leaving an honest review. I absolutely devoured this book. The chemistry was, no pun intended, scorching hot! Larson is a firefighter, Skye is an ATF agent. The night they meet they know something is different but neither wants to admit it. Nor is there a way to contact each other and that suits them just fine. Well...maybe. Something has changed, they can’t stop thinking about each other. When fate brings them together a second time, they take advantage but things are still complicated. And getting more so as the story progresses. These two are perfect together though. I loved Larson’s brothers and family. The mystery of the arsonist was a twist that I really enjoyed and the angst between the main characters kept me turning pages as fast as I could. Skye is super tough and great at her job but doesn’t have good work/life balance. Can Larson show her a different kind of life and will she survive long enough to enjoy it? Read and find out!

I so enjoyed this book about Larson Strong he's one of five brothers and Skye, she's an ATF agent working on a case, trying to track down a serial arsonist, setting fires across the country. The first time they met Skye met was in a bar in Chicago they were attracted and ended up spending the night together. Their second meeting was in Utah, Larson mainly builds houses, but during the fire season, he pilots a helicopter and sometimes works as a firefighter. So when Skye arrives in town still working on her case and needs to be taken to the scene of the latest fire.

Once they meet again fires aren't the only thing that is scorching so is the chemistry between them. But things are still complicated, both of them have issued and despite things getting more complicated they are perfect together.

Will Skye catch the arsonist? Will they overcome past hurts and find a way to make things work between them I love their connection and their chemistry, even the angst between them. But Skye's keeping a secret, what will happen when Larson finds out? I was hooked from beginning to end.

Skye and Larson meet in a bar one night and have a one night stand where neither knows the full, or in Skyes case even first, name. They meet on a day that is difficult for them both and they are attracted to each other. Skye turns out to be an ATF agent and Larson is a helicopter pilot, builds houses and is a volunteer firefigther in a small town called Eden. They meet again when Skye comes to Eden as part of an investigation into a serial arsenist that leads her and her partner there. Things are complicated but the attraction between them is hard to ignore for both of them. There are missunderstandings, difficult feelings, though pasts, and a rough investigation all tangled together in their story, but also a sweet romance and some surprizes. This is the second book set in Eden and I enjoyed this book about Larson and Eden as much as I did the book about his brother Liam and Sophia. The books are not connected, but they do show up since these stories involve brothers.

Larson lost the love of his life in a church fire ten years ago. He closes his emotions off until on the 10th anniversary of her death he meets a little spitfire in bar and has a one night encounter that changes everything. Skye is an ATF agent on the trail of a serial arsonist at the end of a very trying day she goes to her favorite place for supper and runs into a mountain of deliciousness, but its only for one earth shattering night (or is it?). Larson and Skye have a hard time letting their memories of that night go, so when their paths cross again, the fire burns just as hot, but one thing about fires is that someone is liable to get burnt. Throw in a crazed arsonist, a wiggly puppy, a large loving family and a caring best friend and you get a book that is hard to put down. This book can be read as a stand alone but is part of the Eden Mountain Firefighters featuring the Strong brothers.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

You gotta love the Strong family featured in Jenna Gunn's Eden Mountain Firefighter series. The five gorgeous, talented brothers and their parents are as close knit as they come, loyal to a fault and esteemed members of their small Utah community. Saving Skye is the second book in the series and I was every bit as captivated with it as I was Saving Sophia.

Larson Strong stopped really living ten years ago when his fiancée died instead he allowed grief to take over his life. ATF agent Skye Kelly has dealt with heartache in her life too but chose to make a difference instead of allowing gief to consume her. A chance meeting lead to a night to remember for both of them although they go their separate ways. Now she's in Eden working a serial arsonist case. Fate puts Larson in her path once again and the results are as incendiary as the first time. It's not easy going and there are lots of complications...big ones and a surprise twist or two. Never fear though, there is definitely an HEA.

Larson is a contractor/helicopter pilot. A lone wolf who lost his chance on love 10 years ago.
Skye is an ATF investigator, sassy, inteligent woman who doesn't know she needs something in her life.
They meet, sparks fly, they each go their own way.
But the universe has other plans and these two are forced together because of work and a never-ending chemistry that leaves us hot and bothered.
The twists and turns as these two try to discover themselves while solving crime take us on an emotional ride that leaves us not knowing up from down.
What a ride! And I'd go again and again.
Max is a sweetheart as well, and I hope to see him again.
And Scout and Poppy? Too cute to bear!
Also, so nice to see our friends Liam, Sophia, little Eli and Callie, as well as Momma and Pop Strong.
Always a pleasure.
Can't recommend enough!!!
LOVED IT
