Life will never be the same. Neither will death...
The epic conclusion to the Growlers story is here in Growlers Full Circle.

Hunted by several Strigoi and an army of growlers, they are forced to make some difficult decisions.
Having to make do with Communist era machinery while fighting for their lives doesn’t make things any easier. Too many unknowns, too much to lose.
A group of young soldiers they meet on the way might help them in their quest for finding a community of people.
Will they manage to solve the mystery of the disease and the monsters it spawns? Will they find a safe place for a chance at a better life?
GROWLERS is a 4-book novel-length post-apocalyptic thriller series. It follows the struggles of a regular family in the face of chaos after an unknown disease quickly paralyzes everything, including power supply, transportation and communication lines.
John Black has spent most of his adult life working in the gaming industry, helping create virtual worlds.
He is a gamer, husband, father, pancakes enthusiast and more recently he followed his life dream of becoming a fiction author, writing in the horror thriller genre. His approach to writing is to go all in, keeping it fast paced and immersive.
John likes to think a lot of 'what would happen if' scenarios, and he will continue to explore the genre.
Some surprises in store in this one for the series readers. You may feel a little more kindly towards the Strigoi as the book progresses. I found myself questioning our relationship with animals in our own time. This novel certainly puts us into a similar situation to that of cattle or sheep, especially those live exports.
I've read 100s of zombie/apocalypse books over the last two years. Every rare once in a while, one will come along that has more differences than just 2 or 3. Yes, I know, these aren't really "zombies", however, they have enough in common that when you do a specific search 'Growlers' is an option. Being that they weren't actual zombies gave the author a lot of room to create "disease" origin stories, dispersal conspiracies, killing methods, protection methods, strengths and weaknesses, etc. That in itself is one reason I recommend these books. The second reason is how realistic I feel that each character and 99% of their interactions with each other were. A lot of books come close to writing believable character reactions but I feel like these were a lot easier to get behind. I found myself very interested in how they were going to get out of each seemingly hopeless situation. One of them in particular, being alive still at the end of this 4th book gives me hope that maybe I too could survive for a little while longer than I think. I'm considerably eager for the 5th book and any more after that. I love the writer's style. It was a constant running battle with barely long enough moments of reprieve while Murphy was, in my opinion, causing just the right balance of luck and misfortune. I recommend this read!
