If you love Elle Boon's Iron Wolves, get ready for the next generation stories. Xian and Egypt are up first and I loved this one so hard!! It's easy to see that Xan is Xian's father! LOL These two have been through a lot and it was interesting to watch them work through their relationship. I loved seeing Kellen and all the guys.........and their mates. They are all still the crazy characters I love from the original Iron Wolves series. This makes me really excited to see who is going to be next!! While this is a standalone, it would be easier if you read the Iron Wolves series so you know who everyone is.
I lived all the Iron wolves books and was really looking forward to it but I just felt confused and I may need a reread to get it. I just thought it jumped around a bit and missed out loads and I just don’t think this book stacks up to the original books but I m hoping that the next books bring it all together and I can enjoy the rest.
Wow the kids of the Iron Wolves how exciting! I never got to start this exciting series, I have read the Iron Wolves, but never the Next Generation and now I'm sorry I never did.
The children are sent away to the Fae Realm for their protection from the vampires by their parents, hoping to have them back as soon as the war is over, but never thinking they would be in danger of never seeing their children again.
The children soon realize they are not going to earth anytime soon and despair, but are taken under the wing of Liv who keeps them jumping in order to keep them alive and the years just fly by and they grow to huge preportions in no time. 20 years go by when they finally make one last jump which takes them back home. Things are very different though.
This book is so good that I just want to keep reading their story and purchased the next.
If you loved the Iron Wolves, wait until you meet the next generation! The kids are taken, and their journey home takes them years. They have grown and developed in more ways than you can imagine. I love that they found their way home, and can't wait to see what happens next in their journey.
This book was a PERFECT start to the Next Generation! Elle Boon does not disappoint with the kickoff story in the series. The magical world she created alters time, realms, and lives and is truly amazing. I was in love with all the characters in the Iron Wolves series so to have them so deeply embedded in the Next Generation does it for me.
Readers could definitely pick this up without reading the first series, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT because it is so amazing. The nuances from the parent generation definitely are captured well in the Next Generation. This story ties Xian and Egypt together. The Next Generation of kids have been stolen from Fey and they are hopping realms to make their way home. Xian & Egypt recognize that they were mates prior to their separation in the realms. They are constantly trying to make their way home in hopes of seeing each other and their families again. The challenges of survival change them in ways that make them question their goodness.
This book really sets the tone for the remaining characters and how their stories will pan out. I am so very excited to jump into the second book, Tempted Wolf!! If you love steamy, sexy as sin shifters, magic, fey, & vampires, you need to get into this series!! @theoriginalmrsp
Fascinating and fast-paced first book in the new Iron Wolves Next Generation series. It's sweet, hot and steamy, and there's plenty of action and danger.
After a dark and unknown entity takes the Iron Wolves' children, it sends them on a harrowing journey that takes them years to return from. And has them separated from another one of the kids, Egypt. When Xian (son of Xan and Breezy) and Egypt are finally reunited, sparks fly and hearts open to the love they have both felt for each other, but could do nothing about since they were separated. After all they've been through, Xian feels more beast than human but Egypt doesn't agree. She thinks he's perfect as he is.
They kids may have found their way home, but danger still surrounds them. Everyone will have to continue to work together for their safety. It's going to be interesting reading how the kids and the adults deal with their return. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
Many thanks to the author for an advance copy of this book. My thoughts and opinions are my own and without bias or favor or expectation.
The Iron Wolves series is fantastic, and each character is special. However, their kids have won our hearts during their stories, and Knowing who their parents are gives you an idea of how amazing their kid’s stories would be.
All the kids have grown closer and become a pack of their own to survive. Xian has grown up fast and hard. He lost Egypt, his mate, and he turned into a deadly protector for his family. He knows the pain of losing his mate, and the only keeping him sane is knowing that she is alive.
Bad Wolf is a story of a family surviving. I love the relationship between the kids and their little pack. They have done everything they can to get back to their family. The story opens when they reunite with their parents.
Author Elle Boon writes books with a lot of love and magical elements that keep you wanting more. All the characters are fun to read, and you can’t help to love them and want more. I can wait for the next story.
Wow, what a beginning for the Next Generation! The IW children are all grown up and ready for the world. Something in the dark, steals the children of the IW pack, tossing them into the Mist. Now they must form their own pack and survive, with a bit of help from the Underworld. The kids are gone for yrs, fighting and honing their survival skills while continuing to search for a portal to bring them home. Xian has literally grown up in the mist, wondering what has happened to his mate. Egypt was kidnapped by Lord Mkikoa shortly after they were dropped into the Mist and spent the last many yrs trying and failing to find her dragon. How has the time lapse effected them? What will the parents think when they finally make it home? Will Egypt and Xian find their way back to each other? I absolutely loved this book and can't wait for Jagger's story next! Start at the beginning of the IW and work your way forward, you wont be disappointed!
This is a new series based off the Iron Wolves series. These are the children of the original series.
I liked how this book set up the story line for the series. I like how each character was described so you had a good idea about them and their character.
Xian and Egypt met very briefly before they were torn apart. The entire book was the need for both of them to get back to each other. You get to see the trials and hardship they had to overcome to get back to each other.
I will say that there are A LOT of characters in this book. While it is a standalone, I think it would be more enjoyable if you went and read the Iron Wolves series first. That way you can understand who the parents are and how that relates to their offspring.
I just finished holy shit on a cracker !! A frickingggggg flying wolf omgggg I wish I can see a pic of him and I’m sooo sooo sooooo excited Egypt found her dragon!! Those two are gonna be one hell of a powerful couple !!
And now we gotta wait for your beautiful mind to finish The next books omg it’s gonna be torture waiting !!! Torture I say !!! But could you imagine you miss seeing your babies grow up ?!?!? they were gone for 2 years for the parents and 20 for the kids !! Omgg I’m kinda the one who wants a book of the missing 2 years for the parents is that weird !?!?
Pweaseeeeeeeee never ever stop writing ✍️

Anything can happen in the Fey world, and it did with the next generation wolves. They are the "F Team", and proud of it. Things progress fast in this story and you can't help but get caught in the whitewater rafting speed of it all. The banter is awesome as always, funny and make you smile words come out of the mouths of babes. They get it from their parents who are kings. It's about family, and not just blood, it's what you do, and how your actions show your love. Looking forward to more in this series, Ms. Boon can take you anywhere you want to go, even places you did not know you needed to go in her worlds. Always a pleasure to read these books.
What an awesome addition to The Iron Wolves universe. Bad Wolf tells the story of Xian Carmichael and Egypt. When the children of the Iron Wolves are threatened from an unknown force they are all whisked away to the Fey Realm to kept them safe. But that same unknown force lures them away and they are transported to The Mist. Along their journey Home they meet a young woman who turns out to be Creed's little sister. Egypt gets separated from their group and that causes Xian great pain because they are fated mates. When they all finally find their way back to earth time passed by much slower for their parents then for them.

I was so excited when this book came out. I couldn’t wait to read about the next generation. This book takes you on a wild ride. The kids are taken to fae to protect them but something happens. This causes them to grow up fast, change, and be gone for some time. The kids aren’t going to be the same if they find their way home. If they are anything like their parents, they will find their way home. I loved this book. I can’t wait to see what happens next with these characters. Xian and Egypt play an interesting part of this book. Elle has done it again. I can’t say enough about this book. Elle is always a must read for me.
Bad Wolf (Iron Wolves Next Generation Book 1) by: Elle Boon My Rating: 5 Stars Reviewed by: Tammy - Book Nook Nuts
I am new to this author, and I gather this is a 2nd generation so I will be going back and reading the other series.
What we get in this story is a bunch of friends who end up in another world and they grow up quickly. Fated mates and friendships are what will get them through this battle.
Xian knows his mate, then he loses her, and gets her back but things are different. But they too have grown up.
Very good story with many shifter types from dragons to fey, to wolves. In a magical realm, earth, and where they end up well they hope HOME!
Xian Carmichael and the other Iron Wolves children are taken from the fey world by an unknown evil. Xian and Egypt know they are too be fated mates but as they all prepare to battle for their lives, Egypt is taken again. Will he get back what he lost or will he forever be without her. I loved this introduction to the next generation of Iron Wolves. Can't wait for Jagger's story! We get to see appearances from the Fey Queen and her wolfpires, Creed(AKA "Don't look down"), Bella and Lula just to name a few.
This is the fist in the series about the Iron Wolves kids, and what a story. In the face of danger, the Iron Wolves sent their kids fey to ensure their safety. But evil came and stole the kids away, their battle to survive had just started. This is Xian and Egypt’s story with all the different twists and turns you never expected. You get to meet some new characters and some old favorites. This story pulls you in and doesn’t let you go until the end, which give you a glimpse of the next story and leaves you want to read it. Enjoy a must read for the secret shifter in yourself.
Elle Boon has done it again! I wasn't sure I could love any characters more than the original Iron Wolves, but the Next Generation is amazing! I love learning about each of these characters we have only known as babies, now as adults. She has brought us the new characters and has made them even more amazing than I could have ever imagined. I can't wait for the next book to release! Thank you, Elle, for yet another amazing story to get lost in and new characters to love!
Iron Wolves Next Generation book 1. Brilliantly written. You will call in love with these kids. If you loved their parents story them the kids will blow you away. They get kidnapped and thrown into another relam. In another realm they grow up real fast and have to deal with some seriously bad ish. Egypt and Xian are connected but get separated and have to find each other and try to get back home. All the kids and Liv are great characters. I cried cussed and then laughed. This book gut wrenching good, drama filled and hopeful. I can't wait for the next one.
It's very confusing 4 me cause of what exactly happened 2 them and how they all grew bigger but did they grow in age as well? So if they were gone 20 yrs 4 them then does that mean they r now 20 yrs old when they finally got back on Earth? It was still awesome 2 c how they r definitely like their parents in attitudes, etc. Lol it's very good that they saved liv like she did them all 2. Creed will b happy 4 that. He is a unique wolf but I'm why he seems 2 think he's a bad wolf when he's just unique. How old is his sis? I can't wait 2 read more asap!!
I was so happy to hear that Elle Boon would be doing stories on the Iron Wolves children, and I was not disappointed when I read this book! Bad Wolf follows Xian, who is the son of Xan and Breezy, and he is just like his Dad! My heart broke during this story, as we find out something about the Iron Wolves kids as a whole that is scary and sad, but the story ends on a high note, and a teaser for the next book. I'm so happy that the author decided to continue the Iron Wolves legacy, and I cannot wait for the next adventure!
I was completely hooked from the first chapter. I could not put it down. This is a spin off to the Iron Wolves series. This is Egypt and Xian’s story. Lost, alone, and facing a horrible darkness. The Iron Wolves kids have disappeared. They where supposed to be safe if Fey land they where wrong. Now the kids are back but they ain’t kids no more, and they have the darkness on there heels. Can Egypt and Xian save their friends and family? Will the Iron Wolves finally be destroyed or can they stand together and face what comes?
Another FANTASTIC story by Elle! We get to meet the kids of the Iron Wolf clan. First up is Xan's boy - Xian. It's amazing how we watch babies turn into young men and women within a chapter. It's amazing to see how these children learn rapidly while growing up so fast. Mixing species is an interesting concept as it was in the original series. Xian's mate is Egypt who is a dragon. The adventures were pretty scary in some parts but that is how we see what Elle sees in these stories. It's amazing! FANTASTIC job Elle! I would recommend this book!
As yummy as the adult Iron Wolves are the next generation is off the charts. While they were taken and now trying to escape. They're definitely badasses just like their older original versions. Of course, being the kids of who they are and Jenna being the Supreme being she is. Let's just say these kids along with Creed and others find a way to get what they want. Elle Boon has once again outdone herself.
I loved it! This is the start of a new generation of iron wolves that features the children of the original series all grown up and ready for anything. This book is about Xian and Egypt. I absolutely loved them together. They got separated for a long time but when they get back together, Sparks fly awesomely. This was exciting and adventurous and sexy as only Elle can do. I had a blast with this book and can't wait for more!
Wow, first dip into the next generation of Iron Wolves. The children are sent to live with Jenna for their protection, lets jut say things don't go as planned and a tale ensues. It was a little darker than I had been anticipating but still an engrossing, gripping read that kept me gripped, as always with Ms Boon the books is delightfully sprinkled with 'Elle-isms' phrases and words that are unique but perfectly fit the situation. Can't wait to read more of what they get up to
Xian and Egypt are a fated pair from the time they first met. The way they "grew up" is a bit strange and heartbreaking when you think about what their parents must have felt and Belle. This book was a really interesting way to introduce the reader to the next generation of Iron Wolves that I simply adored. I am very excited to see what goes on with the other "children". wink wink
I so enjoyed this book, Egypt and Xian are so cool together and I can't wait til the next book comes out. With this series I see that Elle leaves us guessing with my questions that has to be answered and I can't wait too see what will happen with everyone else especially Liv, the Styles twins mates!!😉
WOW What a ride! A must read book! You need to read all the Iron Wolves books. Each is a fantastic book that will tell you about the characters in Bad Wolf. That is if you want to know when they were born and connected. This is one of my favorite series that I’ve read many times. Bad Wolf will be a many read also. Can’t wait for next book! ❤️📚👍
As a long time favorite of Elle Boon Iron Wolves series I was really looking forward to this next generation. Bad Wolf in NO WAY disappointed me. Storyline , world building and character lines are awesome. I had to take a lot of notes though.....LOVED it...
Holy Shiot! Elle Boon is taking Iron Wolves to a whole new level! Incredible is not a strong enough word. What a way to kick this off but with Xian and Egypt who will blow your minds! Getting to see the originals and changes, with all the extreme twists was out of this realm. So freaking worth it!
