1st in the Hart Ranch Billionaires series. Contemporary cowboy western romance.
Tatum is under pressure from her professional singing contract and realizes someone on her team is helping a stalker get close to her. She escapes with the help of an old flame who will help discover who her enemies are and how she can move forward.
Brody Hart has appeared multiple times in the previous Wyoming Rebels series. Her Rebel Cowboy novella is also a prequel to this new series. He finally gets his story and HEA.
Emotion packed story from anxious to regret to acceptance, friendship and love. Age old question of “am I enough” to women supporting women.
A large cast of supporting characters which will lend to future stories in the series.
Because Brody’s backstory has been included in previous books, a lot of the narrative here gave me a sense of deja vu. The reconnecting of Tatum and Brody was touching. Their growth of understanding of each other and themselves is heartwarming while the rekindling of old friendships is poignant. The heroine goes from scared and timid to confident and successful.

I didn't read a cowboy romance book in a long time and A Rogue Cowboy's Second Chance by Stephanie Rowe was just what I wanted, romance and suspense that kept me glued to my e-reader.
Brody and Tatum meet again years after their last encounter under the bridge, they have changed a lot, a billionaire the first and a singer the latter, but she needs protection and Brody is the only person she trusts for the job. Will Brody keep her safe? Or will Tatum run away again?
I loved the main characters, Brody and Tatum are two beautiful souls and they deserve to be happy. Their past made me break down and cry a river but I adored how both of them became stronger and changed their fate. Brody is my favourite, selfless and devoted to his loved onces, sometimes even too much attentive. Where could I find a man like him?
The book was the perfect length with a satisfactory epilogue even though it ends around the 85%.
I highly recommend it and I'm already looking for next one in the series.

A Rogue Cowboy’s Second Chance… What a great start to the new Hart Ranch Billionaires series. I’ve been crushing on Brody for a couple of books now in the Wyoming Rebels series and am so excited to see him get his HEA. **You don’t need to read the previous series to know who Brody and the other Harts are, they are fully explained in this book.
Brody is a protector and has been most of his life. From the kids he brought together on the streets to live “under the bridge”; to his ranch, after becoming a billionaire tech genius, where they rehabilitate neglected and abandoned animals. He takes care of everyone to the detriment of his own happiness. He is impenetrable and alone.
Tatum Crosby lived on the streets as a teen for a short time and fell in love with a protector with a big heart. She walked away from their life and future because of Brody’s pinpoint focus to help others.
It’s 15years later she is a star and Tatum needs help out of the nightmare her life is becoming. She needs Brody. As a star country singer she is revered and sought after by fans and paparazzi as well as what seems like a stalker. She reaches out and the spine tingling mystery builds.
I love the way Stephanie allows the characters to grow and learn during their story. Understanding life isn’t perfect and neither are they. The way I can immerse myself in their story, emotions, and situations. When I read one of her books, I find myself reading way past my bedtime because of the suspense or the chemistry between Brody and Tatum. She has an artful way of opening up her characters so they are relatable, and has you pulling for their happy ending! A fabulous series opener.
I’m so excited for a new series by Stephanie Rowe and for the other Hart siblings to find their “one”. Lots more swoon-worthy cowboys!!! As I said, If you haven’t read the Wyoming Rebels series, you don’t have to to understand who the Harts are, but honestly, why wouldn’t you? They are fantastic and well worth the read!!

Fantastic. I always wanted to learn more about the Hart family after reading the Wyoming Rebels series.
This book didn’t disappoint. Brody is the perfect leading man. I really enjoyed the story of him getting a second chance I’d love with the girl of his dreams from his childhood Tatum.
This story had it all, lots of action, hot romance and full of drama.
I just love her cowboy books. They are spectacular.

A Rogue Cowboy’s Second Chance finally gives us a lot more insight into the elusive Brody Hart. Savior of lost and abandoned children, tech billionaire, eternally alone founder of the Hart clan. Fifteen years ago, he met the woman of his dreams when they were both too young and too vulnerable. They’re no longer young and desperate but poor Tatum is still vulnerable when it comes to her stalker and preying ex-husband. After a super sexy shared song on stage and a very scary encounter leaving Tatum with a broken arm, these two find themselves together. Can Brody give Tatum the refuge she needs? Can Tatum find a moment’s peace and a sense of safety in Brody’s care?
Rowe always creates wonderful characters and these two are some of her best. How can you not love Brody? The man has spent his life saving people, being everyone’s rock even at the cost of his own happiness and needs. Tatum may be rich and famous but she’s still the caring, sweet woman Brody brought into his “family” all those years ago. It’s funny how everyone in Brody’s family knows what he won’t acknowledge – that he’s never gotten over Tatum. Tatum may have left the Harts behind, married and become a household name but Brody’s her one that got away. How can Brody put everyone else’s needs second to his and Tatum’s and pursue his chance at happiness? How can Tatum forgive Brody for not choosing her or putting her first even after he admitted he loved her? Nothing can stop their true love though, can it?
Brody is so swoon worthy. I know, it’s cliché but it’s so true. Who doesn’t want a man who’ll go to any length to protect them? Tatum is so nice. She’s caring and fun. I wanted these two together from the minute Tatum invited Brody to her show and far more after their duet. When Brody takes the battered Tatum to his ranch even a horrible evening and a broken arm can’t stop the sparks between these two. The whole Hart family is, of course, in Brody and Tatum’s business. The meddling starts from before Brody even knows he has an invite to Tatum’s concert and never really ends. Every single one of the Harts is endearing and their tightness as a family and evident love for each other is so incredibly heartwarming. I’m ready to move to Oregon and join the family! There are fences to mend, and not just between Tatum and Brody, there’s a ton of suspense with the stalker situation and there’s a touching romance being rekindled. This book has everything I want in a good novel. I cried, laughed and lived their lives with them from the first page to the last. I couldn’t wait to see what came next and experience it through Rowe’s amazing writing.

Brody Hart, and Tatum Crosby experienced that sweet moment of first love at 17 yrs. old. Both have experience traumatic childhoods, and run away with others from the foster care system. Brody's a natural protector of others, and Tatum needs someone that's there for her. She needs to be first, so she leaves. We move forward 15 yrs., and Tatum's a Country Music Star, with a failed marriage behind her, an ex husband manager that has her locked into a contract. Now someone's stalking her. Tatum realizes her next concert is in Oregon, and decides to send Brody Hart, a front row ticket, and VIP pass. Brody, and his adopted brothers, and sisters are wealthy ranchers, as well as run a Tech company. Brody attends, and the chemistry between them is intense. Tatum rushes to get to Brody after her concert, but is attacked by her stalker. Fearing for her life Tatum heads to Brody's hotel to ask for help. Brody takes Tatum home to his ranch to heal, and realizes he still loves Tatum, and wants a 2nd chance. Will Tatum forgive Brody, let go of the past, and unrealistic expectations, accept Brody's love before her stalker finds, and kills them both?

I enjoyed this story a lot. It was filled with passion and danger as Brody, Tatum and the other Hart siblings try to figure out who is after her; Stephanie really keeps you guessing up until the end! I enjoyed the scenes we got with the other Hart siblings and loved that we got differing reactions from each of them in regards to Tatum being back. I can't wait to read more about the Hart siblings in future books!

This is not only the first book in the series about the Hart Ranch billionaires. It’s also the first book I have read by this author. One that, after enjoying this story, has been added to my TBR list .
Brody Hart is a man dedicated to his family. A family he created when he chose to protect other teens like him. Homeless kids living under a bridge with no support. Even at a young age, his protective instincts were to take care of them at all cost. Including his happiness.
Tatum Crosby was one of these kids that spent a summer with the group when she was 17 years old. A young love grew but Brodie’s protective instincts forced Tatum to leave after she was hurt and trust was lost.
Nowadays Brody, still the protector, is a billionaire and Tatum a famous singer. Neither forgot the other, and both still have each other in their hearts.
When danger surrounds Tatum, the one she turns to is Brody. Will they get a second chance? Will the danger win? Or will their love be a thing of the past.
Though the plot was engaging and the characters complex, it’s the theme of the story that touched me most. The story is about family and trust. A family isn’t always one that comes by blood. In this case, it was forged by individuals that bounded in their youth always taking care of each other, thanks to the guidance of one individual, in this case, Brody.
A touching and wonderful story that leaves this reader eager to see what else is in store in this series.

It's been a while since I read a good cowboy romance, and this was just what I needed. I’ve been a fan of this talented lady's work for years, but it’s also been years since I’ve read any of her novels. She certainly hasn’t lost her touch and, if anything, she's gotten better over time.
This story has such a heartfelt premise, with throwaway kids who survived together, cobbled themselves into a family, and are still in each others' lives as adults. It's been many years since Tatum Crosby left her little family to pursue her dreams as a singer. But when trouble comes her way, she turns to Brody Hart, the one who always protected them and kept them safe.
I'll admit I’m a big fan of second chance romances, but gah, I adored Tatum and Brody! I was invested quickly in their story and really rooting for their HEA. This is the kind of story I love the most, where both characters have flaws but learn and grow and become stronger together than they would ever be on their own.
This one has it all. An inviting setting, interesting secondary characters who whet the appetite for more, a rewarding second chance, and tons of heart. Run to the 1-Click now, because this is one you won’t want to miss!

This book is everything a romantic suspense tale should be. I did not simply read the words on the page as a voyeur in Brody and Tatum’s lives. Instead, I was immersed in the story. I did not simply read the emotions, I lived and breathed them with Brody and Tatum, feeling all their feelings as if they were my own - the love, the joy, the fear, the sadness, the laughter, and the tears. Brody Hart is a reclusive billionaire. Tatum Crosby is a pop superstar. But 15 years ago they fell in love when they were both homeless teens. They separated when Brody made a choice that broke Tatum’s heart. Even though she has not seen him in 15 years, Tatum knows she needs Brody’s help to protect her from a stalker. Their chemistry and feelings are still there despite the passage of time but dealing with the past while trying to stay safe from the stalker complicates things. The journey to their HEA is a bit of a roller coaster ride but it is a fantabulous journey. This book has a little bit of everything just like you would expect from a good romantic suspense story - sweet moments, strong friendships and family, sexy times, real life issues, imperfect characters, dangerous high stress situations, and over the top alpha protectiveness. While the bad guy in the story was fairly easy to guess, that did nothing to diminish the ratcheting up of the suspense or the enjoyment of the story. This book did a great job of balancing the romance with the suspense making both important and integral parts of the story. This was a fantastic start to a new series and I am excited to read the next book.

I must have been living under a rock, because this is the first time I’ve read this author but it definitely won’t be the last!! The characters are well developed and the storyline is intriguing, suspenseful and emotional. Brody and Tatum have a history together one that ended in heartache. So when Brody gets the chance to help Tatum years later he jumps at it and is determined to make her his. Brody is a protector. As a kid living under a bridge someone had to take care of the other lost and abused kids with him. Tatum was his first love and she wanted to be first in his life. As teenagers, love was a word, something they needed but weren't really sure how to find, so Tatum ran. She wanted to find fame as singer and left without a word to Brody or any of the other "family" members living under the bridge. Fast forward 15 years and Tatum is in serious trouble. She's become a singing star but she has stalkers and enemies. Will Brody step into his protector mode and is it enough to keep Tatum by his side.
As always in Ms Rowe's books the characters are well rounded and you can almost imagine knowing them. This is a wonderful story of love lost and found. Plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing and hints along the way to provide clues. Even though the HEA is promised, the reader will still have to hold their breath in a couple of spots. There are many members of the Hart family so the readers can cross their fingers that each one will have a story giving us many more hours of pleasurable reading.

I didn't know I needed the Hart family until I jumped into this story! We have meet them as part of the author's other cowboy series. A group of homeless youth who had each other's backs and grew up to be wealthy land owners and billionaire business people. The is the story of one lost soul--Tatum --and how she not only lost her way but found it back again to the people who truly love her.
Brody has been the big brother and protector of this bunch most of his adult life. He let Tatum fly and she took his heart with her. When the rest of the family urges him to find closure, he instead opens up the walls around his heart. Tatum is in grave danger and the only one she wants comfort from is Brody.
Great second chance story. All the feels about young love and true love. Truths come out and hearts are healed. Lots of tension between these two. A bit of suspense in the mix doesn't hurt the story line either. Loved seeing all the Hart's in their element. Looking forward to reading more about this bunch.

When Brody appeared in the Stockton Family series, he definitely caught my attention - sexy, billionaire cowboy who helped rescue and protect people in danger. I was so excited to read his story and I wasn’t disappointed in the least!
Brody is so protective of those in his orbit, and he has developed a family with the other homeless kids from his teen years. They are now super successful, rich and very private. He has loved Tatum for the last 15 years and never moved on after she left suddenly when they were 17.
Tatum has worked hard to be a mega superstar singer and had to leave her heart behind when she left Brody. Now she is in danger and she reached out to Brod, and can only hope he shows up to her concert in Portland Oregon.
These two characters sizzle with chemistry and unresolved emotions and feelings. Brody is the ultimate protector so he steps up and whisks Tatum to the safety of his ranch.
This book brings danger, some suspense and a lot of emotions as Tatum and Brody reconnect and attempt a relationship now that they are older. The storyline moves along at a good pace and deftly balances the danger/suspenseful elements with the second chance relationship. Tatum also has to navigate the feelings of the other Hart siblings and her return to their brother’s life.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I’m a big fan of the author and can’t wait to experience this new series after reading the amazing Stockton series Wyoming Rebels.

I had high hopes for this book since I've almost never met a cowboy romance I didn't like. We know right from the start that there is history between Brody and Tatum and that Tatum is having problems with her ex, who may or may not be her stalker. This book got off to a good start. It introduced the characters and made them interesting and delivers with setting the drama and excitement. However, once the location switches to the ranch, the book just fell apart for me. There are only so many conversations that I want to read in a book that say essentially the same thing. Brody loves Tatum. Tatum loves Brody. Brody wants Tatum to stay. Tatum feels like she can't. This book had potential with interesting characters and a unique backstory, but it just dissolved into the kind of lovesick language that I would expect to read in more young adult romances. By the time I got to about 60% I only kept reading to get resolution on the stalker storyline, but skipped over most everything else. This author seems to have a lot of fans and I'm pleased that the author and fans have managed to connect, but I'm not one. And why is Brody a Rogue Cowboy??

I really enjoyed this second chance romance and loved both Brody and Tatum. Their backstory was as interesting and engaging as the suspense surrounding Tatum and her stalker. Brody was all in as soon as Tatum needed rescuing but you also tell that he still loved her as much as he did 15 years ago. Tatum loved his protective nature, but she wanted to come first in his life. Emotional, sensual and heartwarming, I read this book in one sitting.
I’m hoping the rest of the Hart siblings will have their stories told as well. The reader got just a glimpse at some, while a few, like Dylan and Bella, played a more prominent role. Stephanie Rowe has created a new family of characters I can’t wait to learn more about!

I don’t really read many books that don’t contain paranormal elements and is more romance, but an author I do like put out this book, and I thought I’d go ahead and give it a try. This was a great combination of romance and suspense. Brody and Tatum are a wonderful couple and I loved how they got back together after a blip in their past. This was a great story with passion, suspense, love, and adventure. You’ll be both crying with happiness and jealous of Tatum. I haven’t read any of the previous books, and I wasn’t lost at all. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

A Rogue Cowboy's Second Chance is the first book in Stephanie Rowe's new Hart Ranch Billionaires series. It hooked me from the first page and I read it straight through until morning. While I would have preferred more steam between the two main characters and a little less redundancy, it had all the emotional impact and suspense that are hallmarks of a really good romantic suspense novel and it gets 4.5 stars from this reader.
Brody Hart was an abused young teenager when he ran away from one of his abusive foster homes, taking in other such abused and abandoned young people, making them into their own supportive family, all while nearly penniless and living under a bridge. One summer, 15 years earlier, Tatum Crosby, another runaway, joined them, and the attraction between her and Brody was immediate and strong. Brody took his role as the "family" protector seriously, but shortly after the only time these two made love and professed their love for one another, Brody informed Tatum that in order to rescue another abused female by marrying her, a heartbroken Tatum left in the middle of the night, and began to pursue her lifelong desire to be a country music star, a goal she achieved in spades, and in the 15 years they've been apart, Brody has become a tech wizard and is now a billionaire, living in seclusion on his huge Oregon ranch along with many of the now-adult kids he rescued, and where his purpose now is to rescue and rehabilitate abused horses.
There's been no contact between Brody and Tatum for 15 years, and neither has forgotten the love they once shared, but all that is about to change when Tatum sends him a front-row seat ticket and VIP pass to one of her concerts. He's reluctant to use it, thinks it's a hoax, but his family members urge him to use the ticket and find out for himself whether it's real or not.

What follows is a deeply absorbing, second chance at romance and happiness for both of these well-defined and well-developed main characters as they come to terms with who they are now, their goals, their angst, and the feelings they still evoke in each other--but Tatum's a star, and Brody has his ranch--is there any way they can finally resolve their own issues and find their way back to one another? And what of the rest of the Hart family members? How will they react to Tatum's return, since she left them all behind too? It all makes for a well-written, deeply emotional and suspenseful read, and I'm happy to recommend it. I'm eagerly looking forward to following this engaging and emotional series.

Filled with memorable characters, this contemporary western romantic suspense tale is an entertaining, fast-paced mystery. As a teenager, Brody Hart had escaped an abusive stepfather and eventually run away from the foster care system. A protector by nature, he came to be the father figure to a group of misfit young people just like himself--alone in the world and in need of shelter and support. Adopting "Hart" as their shared last name, the group adopted each other as a family. They went through much hardship together--living under a bridge and often making do with scraps for food. One teenaged girl who stayed with them for a while had a special plaee in Brody's heart. Tatum Crosby was sweet, beautiful, and blessed with the gift of music. She and Brody were caught up in the thrill of first love, but a decision made by Brody in his protector mode would drive them apart. Brody and the Hart family would go on to make a fortune in high-tech security software, and they found their homeplace on a sprawling ranch in Eastern Oregon. A Rogue Cowboy's Second Chance by Stephanie Rowe is a thriller with a "cowboy" as the hero and male lead. Brody isn't really a cowboy, he is a billionaire who made his money in tech. He had been a homeless boy living under a bridge with the rest the rest of his "family" when Tatum had known him. He wanted to save them all, and he had, mostly. That had been when Tatum had known him, 15 years earlier. She had lived with them for a summer and fallen in love with him. Then she had run. And now she was a mega-star, but she needed him and he came. He didn't even know why, but he came. She had a stalker and she was afraid. That was what she knew. He was going to meet her backstage, but they told him she didn't want to see him so he left. She ran after him and her stalker attacked. He was dressed as security. He trapped her, broke her wrist. He crowned him with a pot, the first thing she could grab. She got away that time. But she found Brody and he took care of her.
A very fun read, it was a good time figuring out who paid the man to stalk her. Meanwhile, she was back in love with Brody. It was a large group of people who lived separately but together on this huge ranch. Brody's house was a huge, but homey log cabin. The others weren't. To start off with, as a word of warning to those interested in reading this book, let me tell you a little secret and a little advice. You won’t want to put this book down. Not for one second. Not even to eat. But you’ll need to, if only to save the heartache that comes with knowing a book is over. Stephanie’s writing will capture you mercilessly, hold you tight in bonds of intrigue and lust, angst and romance. You won’t know it’s over until it’s too late, until you have nothing more left to read, and then you’ll be lost to the wonder and heartache that is “book hangover”.
Brody and Tatum come alive in these pages. The supporting cast around them, just as vibrant. There is such suspense here, intrigue and mystery around each corner. Pieces of shared histories are discovered slowly, like a rosebud not entirely sure it’s ready to bloom until at last it has.

Stephanie’s writing will capture you mercilessly, hold you tight in bonds of intrigue and lust, angst and romance. You won’t know it’s over until it’s too late, until you have nothing more left to read, and then you’ll be lost to the wonder and heartache that is “book hangover”.
Brody and Tatum come alive in these pages. The supporting cast around them, just as vibrant. There is such suspense here, intrigue and mystery around each corner. Pieces of shared histories are discovered slowly, like a rosebud not entirely sure it’s ready to bloom until at last it has.

She makes the decision to send a ticket to her next concert to Brody in the hopes that he might attend. Even after 15 years neither have been able to get over how they spent time together growing up as well as the love that they had for each other, and Brody is still the protector he always was. But is it the right time for them or jut the right time for Tatum’s stalker to find her?
I truly enjoyed every single word of this book. It has some love but also a lot of suspense as you try and figure out who Tatum’s stalker is. Tatum has always had to be strong, but with Brody she was able to be who she really was. She may be a superstar, but is it all that it is cracked up to be? Tatum has known nothing other than life on the road, until Brody saves her. Brody has never gotten over Tatum. Life went on, but that doesn’t mean he was fully living it. All the characters made this book even more special. I really hope that we get each of the Hart siblings and soon as each have so much to give in their own story. There is something special about finding that one person in the most difficult times and then finding them when you are ready to be together.

This was my first book by Stephanie Rowe, and it certainly won't be my last. The luscious elements of Tatum and Brody's coming back together were absolutely perfect, and the suspense filled storyline was both creepy and treacherous.
I loved all the side characters, Brody's family that he's kept around him all these years were both funny and adventurous. Tatum's friends Ace and Jackson were an amazing addition to a cowboy romance, and not one I've often seen.

OOOOH these Harts have been intriguing me for a while (I'm a glutton for found families) soI couldn't wait to get my greedy little hands on this. A new series is always a bit daunting cos you don't quite know which way things are going to go but I was not disappointed!
Brody and Tatum knew each other for a short time but the passion and love was real. Well, it was until Brody and his KISA personality broke Tatum's teenage heart. They've never really got over each other and when danger calls Tatum's instincts direct her to Brody. He may now have more money than Midas but he also never lost his protective streak.
Brody's not quite sure what to do with the olive branch from Tatum but curiosity wins out and let's just say that for once Fate is on their side.
I love a 2nd chance romance and these two really need a fresh go - they really did just meet each other too early! There are plenty of twists, turns and red herrings. Sure for some the romance may be a bit fast but these two never really forgot each other so my brain just went with the flow. I was happy that all the hart clan had differing responses to Tatum's reappearance - she isn't just heaped in love by everyone.
Totally got lost in the story and can't wait to read more of the series!

Romance, suspense, AND a cowboy...what's not to love😉???
As with everything I've read by this brilliant author to date.....I have yet to be let down 🤓. This book is absolutely no exception. It had fascinating characters at every turn with rich backstory that I am sure we will learn more about as the series gets under way. There's romance, suspense, and an amazing female main character that draws us in from the start. She may be a little worn down, but she's far from broken. This book is almost a whodunit wrapped up inside an action, romance with a dash of cowboy thrown in for good measure 😉. Sound like a perfect recipe? Well for me it certainly was. There's a huge family theme here...however that theme isn't always that of blood, but family of choice or of the heart. Trust. Family. Love. Danger. Music. All of these are the themes that run through the pages of this brilliant book. Trust in oneself. Trust in others. For a group of people who grew up in the foster system...life gave them the short end of the stick. Will they be there for one another now they're grown? See how things turn out when one of their own needs them the most. When the volume gets turned up. Who does she turn to? I already can't wait to see what happens in book two!!
