About the Author Jon Gabriel is an international bestselling author and creator of The Gabriel Method . One does have to be a very open-minded person in order to be able to enjoy this book and not have their eyes fall out from too much rolling. I must admit, a huge portion of it sounds like copied from some elaborate sci-fi novel, but at the same time, it actually gives a curious reader some good thinking points about the way we perceive reality, the universe (-s), time, knowledge, and everything that we are not able to interpret simply through science. Moreover, I decided to read The Quantum Doctor: A Physicist's Guide to Health and Healing by Amit Goswami right after that (but before writing this review), and to be completely honest, Jon Gabriel's book actually made perfect sense to me, it was readable, understandable, relatable, while the other, much more famed and acclaimed one, was like struggling through a labyrinth of complex, sciency words; at the end, I was left none the wiser.
I don't know if I could, or would recommend it to any serious person, but I certainly am glad that I read it myself.
This book treats a complex scientific theory in a way that all can start to understand. It has changed my world view. Not only does he give real life examples to support the quantum theory, but he also gives simple steps for each of us to take advantage of this in our own lives. Now I have so much to think about and consider when setting my goals and improving my life.
I was first exposed to the notion of parallel universes in the eighties through the Seth Material. Still, I benefited from reading How to Change Your Universe, which is a very pleasant and accessible book. The author writes that we don't attract our life circumstances. Rather, we transition, moment by moment, from one universe to the other, according to our vibrational states. To achieve a sustainable shift to a universe where things go more smoothly, our vibrational frequency must match the frequency of that universe. Otherwise we will keep alternating between higher and lower dimensions of reality.
The author does a great job explaning multiverss and how we jump from one universe to another. He also presents a couple of great meditacions to clear our energy channels and ecounrages the reader to build positive daily habits that will promote energy flow. All good stuff. The book is definetly worth reading. The reason i gave it 3 stars is due to some of the topics on energetics are based on the mid or low level concepts described in several fields like taoism, hinduism, tantra, yoga, buddhism, etc. They are all well documented so you will find other work to validate this work. However, the advance form of these practices are clear that these were created to help the avg person, the advance practices for example dont recommend to hold ejaculation as the author suggest here, that was something needed to minimize promiscuity, but a person with higher vibration, wont have the need to be like this to begin with. Fasting is also not encourage in the advance levels, instead they do a modified version. These are just two examples. The book is not wrong is just not at the highest level of these practices. I still think is a great book for those starting the journey and will change your life.
Once you get past the author's self-promotion, this book is an eye opener. Basically, the theme is anything is possible. Following the advice to meditate alone makes it a worthwhile read.
This is a different way of looking at manifestation and cocreating the life you want to live. The science and theories he shares are fascinating. This book has given me a lot to think about!
This book is very strong in the woo. I only got onto this book because I was relooking to read The Gabriel Method again and saw Jon had written this. It is most definitely not a weight loss book. However the reason The Gabriel Method is so great is that it's hardly the standard weight loss book either. So as much as it seems a far stretch it is not really. This book is intense but short and interesting. So much of the weird completely out there stuff makes so much sense. You almost question your own mind. It's well written and intriguing with clear path and ideas to follow. Was a bit disappointed that the audio was not available where mentioned but I'm sure I'll find it.
“How to Change Your Universe” takes attracting abundance to a whole new level! It gives you the tools you need to travel through the multiverse using tools that expand your consciousness, increase your vibration which allows you to live in a world of your choosing!
In the part one, “Virtual Reality” of "How to Change Your Universe" Jon shares a powerful perspective on what we experience and view as "reality." In part two, Quantum Immortality, he talks about the concepts of past/future energy and the impact of group thinking, in which he shares stories about real-life events. My favorite part was “Mr. Mandela and the Magic Mirror (aka: The Mandela Effect). The Mandela effect refers to a situation in which a large mass of people believes that an event occurred when it did not. In part three, “Let’s Get Hopping,” he shares practical advice on how to integrate some of these lessons. through deeper meditation practice, visualization, mindfulness, and having a deeper spiritual connection.
Although I was already familiar with the notion of parallel universes, I feel I have benefited from reading this book; I’m just not quite sure how much I believe in it all. JG writes that we don't attract our life circumstances: we switch universes moment by moment, as our vibrational state fluctuates. It's similar to playing a video game or switching channels on radio stations. To achieve a sustainable shift to a higher universe, our vibration must remain aligned with its frequency or we will keep alternating between lower & higher dimensions of reality. JG regularly meditates, for hours everyday, to raise his vibration to stay in tuned to higher dimensions. I’m just not sure I will ever get to that level of commitment, but I do find this all interesting… as I do watching superhero shows with alternate universes.
