Mission: Impossible to Surrender by Jacki Delecki is the second book in her new Impossible Mission series and was every bit as good as the first one. Once I started reading the book, I couldn't put it down.

Once chapter one sets up Sophie and her new mission in life, the story took off and never slowed down until the end. The plot was quickly paced with action, suspense, hot and sexy times between Sophie and Finn and even some laughter from the banter between the Jenkins brothers. Ms. Delecki writes likable characters caught up in scary and suspenseful situations that can also lead her characters to finding love. I certainly hope that Ms. Delecki has plans for more of the Jenkins brothers to meet their match.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. All of the above opinions are my own.

Wooohooooo, this is the 2nd book in the Impossible Mission saga, and I really, really loved it. Sophie is now a humanitarian, quite different from the girl that Finn remembers, Finn is back home and wants to confess to Sophie all the feelings he has had for her all these years. Finn is tasked with protecting her and now having to deliver a young boy, who happens to be Sophie's new charge. Filled with action, witty banter, humor, hot sex scenes, and a wild ride made for an awesome read! Loved it!

Exciting romance. Finn & Sophie are perfect for each other, but will they ever figure it out?

I received this Kindle e-book through a Goodreads Giveaway. This is the first book that I have read by this author. There is a quick pace and lots of action along with some romance. Besides this, there is an orphan being transported to a relative in the US, a gang of drug dealing motorcyclists, a drug cartel, a major charity event, a kidnapping, alpha male security experts, a rock musician, and much more.

The book is well-written except for a few editing errors. Due to the mystery/suspense and the pure entertainment of the novel, I gave it 4 stars.

Reformed pampered princess, wild-child and all-out rebel Sophie Dean is on a mission to save the world! She is starting with causes close to her heart. She has been in Nepal for months, working with her mentor and undertaking some charity work, media present or not. But when she is due to go home her mentor springs a surprise on her. One in the shape of a young Pakistani refugee. She is in charge of getting him out of the country to his new foster family.

Finn can't believe it when Sophie springs their new charge on him. How can he keep her safe when she keeps going off script?!?! But when it comes to Sophie Finn is blinkered. He has loved her so long that he'll keep her safe no matter what. But there is no way in hell he'll ever tell her - she is his boss' daughter and she is almost family as far as his uncle is concerned! He's just a Special Forces warrior - what could he offer a billionaires daughter?

There are lots of threads through this storyline. Is Sophie, Finn or their young charge the target being sought? Can they get to safety before the various factions after them catch up?

Brilliantly crafted and fast-paced read. Plenty of action to keep you entertained and of course, the obligatory family snark to make you smile. Sophie and Finn are hot, hot, hot. I loved the way Finn and Aiden kept getting interrupted in one way or another when trying to love their ladies!

I've got a good idea which brother may be falling for the tigress that is Dani! But I have a sneaky hunch that we have not seen the last of Yasra either!

A good one.

Sophie is all grown up. No more playing with the bad boys. She now spends her time working with worldwide needy. Her father is one of the richest men in the country requiring she has a protection team. The one thing that never changed was her feeling for Finn. He is a top Navy SEAL and works with his family security company when he can.

When Finn could it was with Sophie. Yes, she sure was all grown up and hard to miss. But his job didn't seem right for a woman like Soph. He was sure her father planned for something else.

She'd been through a kidnapping and Finn was going on the next big event to make sure it didn't end the same. He just didn't know how long he could be around her without showing how he feels.

Since Sophie felt the same way it was going to be an interesting time. His brothers were going to razz him about her until he killed them--which might not be long the way things were going. She was bringing him a surprise. A little orphan boy. Surprise. Surprise. Surprise.

As threats increased his ability to protect her resisting her increased even more.

Lots of action. Intrigue. Heat. Sassy women. Gorgeous dangerous men. Never a dull minute. I hope you enjoy the characters and the book a much as I did.

Best friends to lovers is my all-time favourite trope, so I knew I had to read this book. Finn is an ex-SEAL who now works in security, and he's tasked with getting his best friend and the woman he has loved for years home safely.

Sophie is the younger daughter of one of the richest men on the planet, but she hates the notoriety her father's money and fame brings. She wants to use her privilege for good, and has a keen interest in helping other people. But when her mission brings her into a contact with a young, orphaned Pakistani boy, neither she nor Finn realises the chain reaction they're setting off.

Finn will do whatever he has to in order to keep Sophie and the boy safe, but when bullets start flying, finding out who is the target and why becomes critical. His feelings for her eventually come out, and when she admits they're reciprocal, they finally give in to the long hidden desire they've had for each other.

While I enjoyed the romance, I did feel like it took a backseat to the suspense part of the plot; once Finn and Sophie became a couple, there really wasn't a lot of scenes with them together because the action took centre stage. I would have loved a few more scenes with the new couple. But this is just a minor thing, and overall I enjoyed the book very much.

Finn Jenkins is a tried and true SEAL devoted to protect Sophie, his friend since childhood. After a brief time apart on a mission, Finn returns to his regular duties of protecting Sophie. What he didn’t expect was the added complications.
Sophie is the daughter of one of the richest, tech/security gurus in the USA. After some soul searching, she returns to the USA with a Punjabi orphan, Tariq that she and Finn are transporting to Orca’s Island. When a gang of renegade motorcyclists attempt to stop the trio on their trip, the adventure begins.
With the assistance of more technology than one would ever perceive is available and a special operative team of SEAL brothers, Finn and Sophie work against the clock to rescue a kidnapped Tariq, undercover a mole, facilitate a successful refugee summit and still, eventually, get to Orca’s Island, all while keeping their roller coaster of emotions for each other under wraps (or so they thought).
Hilarity, mystery, intrigue and adventure weave this story of two childhood friends into lovers as they overcome obstacles and odds to do what others believe is impossible.
I was given an advanced copy of the book to read, in exchange for my honest review.

In Delecki's second book of the Mission: Impossible series, she brings us one of my favorite tropes, a best friends to lovers story.

Finn, a former SEAL turned security expert, is in deep trying to get his best friend, Sophie, out of harm's way. He's also head over heals in love with her but she's blind to his feelings. Danger has a way of changing the game though and emotions boil over and are revealed in the heat of the moment.

Sophie's intent to help a young boy caught in a war zone places then all in grave danger, caught up in a plan they don't understand. Finn must keep them safe while Sophie comes to terms with his new feelings for her and realizes she's loved him forever too.

I liked Finn and his brothers and the banter between them; they offered welcome levity and Sophie was a fiesty heroine who fit Finn well. As with the first book in the series; however, I feel they're just barely in the romance category. The stories are well written but heavy and focus mainly on the suspense and drama, with barely any scenes focusing on the romance or the couple themselves. If you like suspense with just a dash of romance, you'll enjoy Mission: Impossible to Surrender.

This fast-paced suspenseful novel grabs the reader's attention from the opening paragraph. Although the story is both exciting and romantic, I did find that it did a hop, skip and a jump from time to time, leaving me trying to figure out what had happened in the interim. Whilst Sophie Dean had redeemed herself after her wild college days, her reputation nevertheless precedes her. She has to work twice as hard to earn the respect of the public and her father and thinks she also has to win Finn's approval, not realising that she has always had it. Rescuing a young boy from his homeland, Sophie and Finn have their work cut out for them keeping ahead of those who like to destroy them. Despite being a strong-minded military man, Finn has a gentle heart and to the amusement of his friends, his feelings for Sophie are not as hidden as he had hoped. Sophie has been a spoilt princess in the past, but she has become quite capable of bringing her part to the rescue operation. Although the book is part of a series, it is nevertheless a standalone and comes to a very satisfactory conclusion. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.

Love friends to lovers romance. Sophie is the reformed bad girl from the super rich father. Years of playing with the bad boys have all been a failed attempt to curve her attraction long time family friend Finn. Finn is the ultra sexy Navy SEAL who has always lived a life of danger and wild women. After returning years ago from training he finds himself very attracted to family friend Sophie. Finn thinks he's not best for her, lives a dangerous life, isn't wealthy and not a rock star. This new meet up he finds he can't fight his attraction and gives Sophie several glimpses into his desire for her. The problem is trouble is all around them and there is no time to discuss or explore their feelings.

The danger and excitement of the mystery of who the bad guys are actually after make for a great read. Has Finn led a dangerous gang into the path of Sophie and the orphan she is in charge of? Or had Sophie's renowned fame and rich father caused them to be targets? With an innocent boy in the mix and the love of their life at risk, both Finn and Sophie are ready to do whatever is necessary to protect the ones they love.

I received this book free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book and this is my honest review.

Sophie Dean is from a super wealthy background and is working hard to dispel her bad girl reputation. Now working in humanitarian aid for refugees she uses her wealth and family connections to push forward worthy causes. During a recent trip she becomes involved in the relocation of a Pakistani child, Tariq, to the USA and this evokes the wrath of his powerful, unscrupulous uncle with potentially deadly consequences.

Sophie’s problems give her childhood friend and navy SEAL Finn Jenkins a chance to be close to her as her protection detail. He has long been in love with Sophie and hopes the opportunity to protect her will give him an opening to declare himself.

A lot of the story relates back to the previous book where Sophie was kidnapped. I felt I was missing something by not reading that first. Perhaps if I backtracked to the previous book my view would be different but for me it lacked that special spark of a romantic suspense novel. Not a bad read but not a favourite for me.

I was lucky enough to be given a free ARC copy before its release of this book and absolutely loved it

I was gripped by this novel from the start which is about a rich girl who is currently away after going around refugee camps to help and report to raise money for their plights who brings home a young boy who she believes she is just escorting too relatives back home, luckily for her she is surrounded by bodyguard seal brothers who manage to save the day when they both fall into trouble
She is also lucky enough to find love with an old childhood friend/bodyguard/seal along the way
This was a perfect combination of easy reading action and romance with a bit of will they/won’t they in between.
This was the 2nd of a series of books I now plan on reading the first which is based on her and her sister and a kidnapping plot that’s mentioned in this book
There is definitely more books to be written on this series and would love to see where the next ones take us with regards to the other seals/biological brothers and getting there eventual happy ending

Mission: Impossible to Surrender is the second book in the Impossible Mission series by Jacki Delecki. Although there are references to events which happened in the first book, this one is a stand-alone read. The author does a very good job of including necessary information of the plot of the previous story to allow the reader to enjoy the book separately. This novel is about Sophie, who spent time in Nepal following a kidnapping, and Finn, a friend of the family as well as a U.S. Navy SEAL. The story springs from the page like an agitated kangaroo with nonstop action until the very last page. There is wonderful character development and the intense plot will keep the reader engrossed. But it is also an adult romance. There are a few graphic bedroom scenes, with a steam level of 2 1/2 to 3. Well written and not raunchy scenes that add to the romantic features of the novel. Of course, there is the feel good ending of a HEA conclusion.

This is an eagerly anticipated second book in the series, and it doesn’t disappoint. From page one, Sophie is established as a strong, gentle character that has been battling past experiences, and the rest of the first chapter sets up the story and characters, providing a strong background to the fast-paced story that follows. Finn is an alpha male that’s also an old childhood friend of Sophie’s, and he is not going to let her be harmed – and he loves her. The romance is a smaller part of the story, and the action is exciting, gripping, and very topical. There is light relief in the banter between Finn and his brothers, there’s excitement in the storyline (no spoilers here!), and there’s romance – in other words, this is a must read. I found it a one-sitting read; no way was I stopping before the end.

This is the second book in this series and though it can be read as a stand alone I would recommend that you read the first nook "Mission Impossible to Resist" first as there is a large amount of info in that book that is relevant in the second book

This is the story of Finn Jenkins and Sophie Dean they have history she was a spoilt daddy's girl who Finn walked away from years earlier now after years as a Navy seal he has returned and he finds that Sophie isn't the silly little girl that she used to be She now works in the humanitarian field and when danger threatens her wok she turns to the one man she can trust but will he be able to keep her safe. Get ready for a adrenaline filled ride as the book travels along at a cracking ace it has everything you could possible want in a story steam, suspense drama and danger and some hot brothers that may be future stories

Amazing story! After reading the first book in the series, I knew I was in for a terrific and wild ride with Sophie, Finn and the Special Ops and SEAL forces her father hired. Uncle Harry was the head of the group and kept watch over his nieces, Jordan and Sophie. It was a big job as they seemed to attract those that have devious ideas about their wealth and the projects the women were involved in. Sophie was “resting” in Nepal with Bhikshu Bunan and his followers. She met a young boy, Tariq, who was a refugee from Pakistan; she wanted the best for him and the book is the story of intrigue, violence, kidnapping and rescue, with a touch of romance. The events are busy, wild and not the ordinary group of men to the rescue. I loved it! There are sensual scenes and I recommend this book for adults.

This book was really great. Action thriller romance books are the best and Jacki Delecki dishes them up with the best of them. Finn and Sophie are the brightest sparks, loveable sassy and all round great people. Finn is such a team player especially with this brothers at his back sides and front. Lol well there are 5 Jenkins all up. I'm not going till tell you what it's about because you should do yourself a favour and read it for yourself. It's really worth checking out the book before this on-e too, not that you need to, as they are standalone but the characters follow on through as well. Fantastic book!

I received this ARC for an honest review

This is my first book by this author
But not the last a great story.
We meet Sophie Dean a wealthy bad girl gone good as she is helping a young boy from Nepal go to his uncle in the United states after his family is killed in an attack.
Finn Jenkins has adored Sophie years.
But has kept his distance his life always away in missions never knowing if he was coming back or not is not the life she deserves
But when there is a threat to her life he will stop at nothing to make sure she is safe and maybe finally have what he has always wanted her.
Great read I wish I had the opportunity to read the first book it would have filled in some blanks but this doesn't take away from the story

Genre: Romantic suspense- military, friends to lovers
Standalone: yes
Part of a Series: Yes book 2
POV: mostly Sophie and Finn
Steam Level: steamy
4/5

This is the first book I've read by Jacki Delecki and probably won't be the lady. Mission Impossible to Surrender was a fun mix of alpha male and the feisty heroine who challenges him. I loved the interactions between the brothers and how it differed with Finn and Sophie's interactions. This book kept me on the edge of my seat with several twists I didn't see coming.

Hunky Navy Seal, beautiful, caring rich woman, kidnappers, gangs, drugs, betrayal, and romance—what more could you ask for? This is the ultimate for me in a suspenseful romance. I love how Finn does all he can to protect Sophie along with Finn’s brothers. Sophie has such a soft heart, and has trouble because of her soft heart. I loved all Finn’s brothers and how they razzed each other. It was funny how Finn was afraid to say anything about his feelings for Sophie, but he had no problems facing down terrorists! I loved the book, and strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

Mission is the first book I've read by Jacki Delecki and after Mission: Impossible to Surrender it will not be the last! Sexy Navy Seal, Fin and caring, hard-working, beautiful Sophie are WOW together. Alpha male and sassy women make the sparks fly! I loved it!

Among the usual twists we have kidnappers, gangs, drugs, betrayal, and love, what more could you ask for? I enjoyed how Fin’s brothers harassed him with love, reminded me of my family. Again, I loved the book, and strongly encourage you to pick up your own copy of this book

A STUPENDOUS, THRILLING, EXTREME ACTION-PACKED MISSION IMPOSSIBLE SURRENDER ROMANTIC SUSPENSE THAT BLEW ME AWAY!

Powerful, dramatic, exciting and sexy with a ton of suspense and amazing action, I was completely smitten with this read. The characters were amazing and the story was engaging and awesome and so full of excitement. There was not one boring or lame moment and that made it perfect for me.

Mission Impossible Surrender gets a MIND BLOWING FIVE ACTION-PACKED STARS!

Ok first thing I should say is I did not read the first book and I think in order for the relationship to be fully appreciated you do need to read these in order.

Sophie and Finn have always been friends and have had secret feelings for each other. So there’s very little relationship growth, aside from sexual, happening in the story. The main focus is on everything else happening in the plot with the romance being back burnered. Which is fine because the suspense and action keeps the book moving along pretty quickly. And while I wish the author delved into the relationship a bit sooner and a little more I still enjoyed the story. I'd recommend to any romantic suspense fans.

Alpha protector and sweet humanitarian
Mission: Impossible to Surrender by Jacki Delecki is a fun read. I really enjoyed this book for several reasons. The plot is interesting and fast paced, the setting varies with a little world travel and the characters are real and wonderful. Finn and Sophie have history and all it takes is a little push to set them on their path to their destined HEA.
Overall a good book with tons of details and filled with awesome characters - ultra protective alpha heros and sweet but strong heroines.

Get ready for a lot of action and intrigue and romance. I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion. Although this is the first book of Ms. Delecki's that I have read, I can honestly say that it won't be the last as not only do I want to go back and read the first in the series, but also the ones that come next. The book had me hooked from first page to last. The intrigue had me on the edge of my seat and the romance had me fanning myself a few times. If you like strong, hot military guys and the strong women who can stand up to them, then you will like this book

Sophia is a strong heroine who is supposed to be relaxing in Nepal, instead she takes us on an whirlwind adventure. Finn is a Navy Seal who is sent on a secret rescue mission, but to save Sofia he must go against his mission since she insist on a boy joining them. Sofia and Finn takes us on one crazy adventure of survival.. They've known each other since childhood and try to continue to fight their growing attraction. This story has a bit of everything, kidnapping, life threatening situations, trust, secrets, action, adventure, love and acceptance. What is supposed to be a relaxing vacation for Sophia becomes a vortex and a fight of survival. I received this ARC and loved their story.

I purchased this as part of this author’s bundle called THE MISSION IMPOSSIBLE SERIES: Books 1-3.

I enjoy military stories being Ex Navy Women Veteran. This wasn’t as exciting as book 1. Yes, there are elements of danger, but didn’t rock my boat as the first in the series.

Some cross over character’s so would make it more meaningful to read the first of series. There are nasty villains and strong male and female and male character’s.

Lovemaking outside of marriage heat level 5 out of 5. Bedroom door wide open.

No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, little on romance, suspense, violence and steam (ljb)
