I really like this spin off quest story but almost all the ratings I give to these volumes are due to particular scenes that I loved above all else. For this volume it is definitely this one. So funnyyyy, I love them hahahah
One of the more humorous entries, volume 7 wraps up Aldoron's arc with predictable - yet entertaining - fights, random power levels, and well chosen team ups. It's also quite couple focused, with both Gruvia and Jerza fans getting treated to some heartfelt content. Very much cemented in the friendship philosophy that Fairy Tail has always advocated for, there are memorable moments sprinkled in with much of the same.
Fairy Tail: 100 years quest has been sitting on the back burner for a while, and when I finally picked it up, it did not disappoint. This world and series is beyond amazing, and the characters of it hold a very special place in my heart. The story is incredible and engaging, and keeps me guessing and on the edge of my seat. With the announcement of the anime adaption, I am excited to see what they do with this story and how it will continue. 5 stars from me.
The ending of this volume is my favourite. I love the character development that Jellal underwent. To finally see him embracing his past and moving on like that makes me love him even more. OMG MY JERZA HEART IS FULL AND WARM. I've been waiting for this to happen since the tower of heaven arc!!!!!!!!
A fire that could consume the whole world in flame.
Free from the effect of the White Mage's spell almost the entirety of Fairy Tail and Jellal now find themselves facing against the unexpected challenge of various God Seeds opponents upon the humongous Aldoron's body. Each Seed has its own unique magical power which can be powerful on its own but against an exhausted and injured group even as strong as Fairy Tail it will take some incredible coincidences, team work, tactics, and heart bound connections if the guild is going to overcome one of the mightiest of the Dragon Gods. There are a lot of great fight scenes you have to see including a new set of combination attacks between Juvia and Gray that I couldn't help but chuckle at. After the dust settles only one side will be the winner.
Just make sure you read all the way through because one of the surprise guests to show up has their own mini comic explaining why she was there at just the right time. We also see more about the dragon eater guild Diablos but that is something the guild will have to deal with later on as the show must go on. :)
THE GREYVIA WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR. MY HEART IS FULL. I CAN DIE HAPPY.
Ahem. Anyways. Great volume. Maybe I'm just a sucker for my OTPs, but them all getting cute moments in this was so good. But seriously Grey and Juvia power couple. Also Jellal and Erza. I'm upset that no one is gonna tell Jellal that he was attempting to sexually kite Erza though 🤣🤣
So there was some growth in this volume, which was nice. Especially for Jellal, since he's been stuck in retribution mode for fucking ages. And everyone having a hand in a huge battle and everyone getting a little moment was so sweet. I love when all of Fairy Tail comes together to do good ❤️
Anyways, end of a mini arch! Was it more or less predictable? Yes. Did it follow the generally everyone helps and Natsu has crazy power finishing it? Also yes. Am I still living for it? Final yes. I'm excited to keep moving forward, and these pairs had better keep the cuteness up.

I’m having such a good time reading this arc. It reaches its end as the final fights are happening, and each one of them is more badass than the other. The action scenes are so much fun to follow along, and it gets increasingly hard to stop reading once you pick the manga up.
This volume proves just how much our favorite characters grew, especially Jellal. He’s always been one of my favorite characters (second only to Natsu), and I can't believe how much he developed since he refused to let himself love Erza because of the guilt for the crimes he committed. He's such an incredibly complex character, and I’m so happy to say this made me fall even more in love with him.
And it genuinely feels so good to finally see the relationships progress. It feels so much less like fanservice, so it just feels natural to see all our favorite couples finally make move on each other. The only one that still is missing from the lineup is Nalu, but I’m confident that it will be their turn one day.
Is this the conclusion to Aru Shah? The Pandavas have made it to the final boss. All the side quests and dungeons have been beat. Unfortunately, the Potatoes are standing at the final entrance stripped of their celestial weapons, and therefore celestial allies, but they still have to conquer the Sleeper. How will they overcome?
Standing before Aru are Kara and her father. Two people who have been on her mind since she fell through the elephant. All the soul searching Aru has been doing must now answer, is her father good or evil? That answer will decide if the devas or the asuras receive the nectar of immortality. That decision would be tough for any philosopher to ponder. So let's lay it in the hands of a teenage reincarnation of a Hindu demigod. (Small gripe inserted here. Why is it Aru's decision when all five Pandavas have been required to even get to the labyrinth? Shouldn't Brynne, Mini, Nikki, and Sheila be throwing more weight on how this all turns out.)
While I certainly don't love the philosophical argument of the novel, I love Aru reaching into her bag and pulling out all the artifacts she has been given along the way. All the sides of the coin that don't get recorded in the epics, eddas, sagas, and tales of history. What Aru ultimately comes to realize is the most poignant inspiration a middle grade novel has had for me (and saved multiple stars on the rating of the book, honestly).
Because I have to admit the snark was a little less amusing by book five. The writing is still witty, and the rock concert is probably the most epic snarkiness in the whole story. The rest, however, feels like some of the spark has worn off and the humor is a little more forced. It must be exhausting trying to write a constant golden one-liner character. Despite all this, all the characters still feel true to themselves.

Loved this volume again! Loads of great fights and a great finish to the battle. The last chapter with Erza and Jellal was so sweet and I'm glad that Jellal is maturing and I hope they can get together at last.

The amount of ship content this manga is giving me IS INSANE. I'M SO HAPPY. And all those characters reappearing (even for short moments)... OMG, my heart is thrilled.
I'm really liking this sequel series. The pairings feel like they're actually getting somewhere. Before it was just Gajeel and Levy but now everyone else is too 💕
