3.5 stars. The writing left much to be desired, but the premise is truly fascinating. This is the only time travel fic I've read where the final outcome is truly unpredictable. It doesn't follow the single continuum theory, and actively doing things in the past differently affects the future in unpredictable and curious ways. I liked this work overall, I just think the emotional relationships were a little underdeveloped and stunted, and the philosophising of everything and anything, while fairly well written, was overdone and made the book feel a bit clunky, I suppose.
