Nine magical stones of incredible power. Alice has to stop the evil sorceress who will stop at nothing to claim them. An epic tale of gods and monsters from the pages of mythology. Below is a review of one of the books that started us off on this adventure. Titles included are:
1. The Soulbound Scar
2. The Soulbound Stones
3. The Soulbound Sword
4. The Soulbound Sorceress
*** Reviewing “THE SOULBOUND SCAR (#1)” ***
Step into Mythology . . .
On her 16th birthday, high school bad-girl Alice got a big surprise when an assortment of mythological gods and creatures want her dead. She meets a dragon, an “umbrella” ghost named Dead Ted (which will be explained in the book), and a vampire boy reaper named Ace, along with many other things. Alice is attacked by a huge Beast and then is reincarnated, able to see creatures others cannot. The Council believes that Alice is an Aeon, a kind of guardian, a defender of all worlds, who reincarnates into a new form endlessly. Their reason for thinking this is that they swore they did not have anything to do with her soul coming back to the body. There is no other explanation for it. The vampire boy she meets, Ace, sticks with her as she tries to deal with her new powers when she wakes up from her death. It’s very difficult for her to know who to trust.
This story line in the first book introduces us to many mythological creatures and gives us a glimpse of another culture with everything explained well by the author. Grab your copy and meet the gang!
