This boxset contains the first four books in the Sunset SEALs series.

Sealed at Sunset is the story of Navy SEAL Special Operator Andy Carr and Aimee Greer. Andy has just completed his first deployment as a SEAL in Africa and is struggling with the bad memories of what he saw there. One memory of the legs of a women on the side of a road, wearing green Nike trainers, keeps sticking in his head. He needs some time to recover and his former BUDs pal Cory Phillips, a medic, was trying to get him to transfer to Team 4 in Little Creek, and so he goes to visit him in Florida. His last call with Cory had raised a few concerns and questions about his friend, but he had also met a girl, Aimee. When he meets up with Cory, he is practically falling down drunk, which doesn’t impress him. Cory arranges a double date with Aimee and her friend Shelley and when he shakes Aimee’s hand he is unable to take his eyes off her or let go of her hand. That is against the brotherhood of SEALs code though, he can’t be interested in another SEAL’s girl! He has no interest in Shelley, even though she shows her interest in him being a SEAL, not the sort of girl he wants. Aimee had first come to Sunset Beach hoping to follow in her parent’s footsteps, having lost them both recently and not having seen her brother, Logan, due to drugs many years before. Cory was recently injured on a training session and unknown to Aimee has been secretly taking lots of painkillers, long after he was supposed to need them, as well as mixing them with alcohol.

Andy doesn’t like the way he sees Cory is treating Aimee, but knows he can’t really speak up without breaking the bro code! Especially when a drunken Cory thinks it is a good idea to suddenly ask her to marry him, as she will help him to heal. Finding out just how big an issue Cory is hiding from everyone and how dangerous he could be on the Teams if he continues to abuse painkillers and alcohol as he is. Andy doesn’t know the LPO on Team 4 and ends up having to call his own LPO Kyle, to get some advice about what he should do about Cory. He speaks to Cory as well and points out to him what he will do if Cory doesn’t do something himself first. Aimee can’t take Cory’s behaviour towards her anymore and they split, but Andy feels guilty for pushing matters to that point and being responsible for their break. Aimee has her own issues, having thought she saw her long missing older brother Logan, in the rear of a restaurant they had visited. She tries to track him and finds the doctor in a halfway house that was treating him, but is warned not to approach him again, as she could be in danger. Cory goes off to a training programme he was being offered the chance on, but it also has a special detox unit attached, where he can get some help with his issues. At least that way he shouldn’t get kicked off the Teams. Andy stays in the rented house until he has to go back and gets to spend more time with Aimee, finding himself falling in love with her easily and even having that reciprocated. Of course, just as they are getting more entwined, Andy is called off on another mission in Africa, leaving Aimee behind with a promise she won’t go looking for her brother until he returns, which of course she pretty much ignores! A surprising inheritance comes her way and makes her dream of what could be.

Second Chance SEAL has Navy SEAL Damon Hamblin meeting the girl who he left behind some ten years before as he left for BUDs training, at a wedding he gets invited to with friends’ last minute, in Sunset Beach. Damon had been looking for an escape, after his soon to be ex-wife Charlene sent him divorce papers whilst he was away on deployment, and was invited by his BUDs and Team 3 buddy of ten years, Renny Walker, to come down to Sunset Beach, Florida, to tag along to a wedding Renny was invited to. Martel is the bride’s best friend and the groom, Greg, calls her over at a get together before the wedding itself, and Damon is frozen in place as he realises it is Martel. He fell for her and was her first all those years ago and made the mistake of leaving without telling her to chase his dream of becoming a SEAL, and always meant to get in touch with her but the longer he left it, the harder it became until he didn’t. Her life was changed completely after he left and he knew nothing of what she went through. She had to move from California to Oregon for a while and then moved to Florida and became a teacher, working alongside her best friend Kaitlyn Carrington, the bride. She wants to see Damon told to leave the wedding party, but that would raise lots of questions she hasn’t even given Kaitlyn the answers to. She isn’t going to be easy to crack as he tries to start a relationship with her again, as she has a lot of rules he will need to follow.

He tries to apologise, telling her he was scared back then of the strength of their feelings for each other. She doesn’t make it easy for him either. But she has something important she needs to tell him, that she has hidden from him and didn’t really give him any choice over all those years ago. She and her mother made that decision back then by themselves. Damon is trying to show her that he is willing to change and he still has feelings for her, and she is slowly losing her animosity towards him, the more she gets to know him again. Renny gives Damon a few home truths about his ex-wife Charlene and how much she took advantage of him, not being a wife that was suited to being married to a SEAL one bit! He likes how Martel is making Damon be a better man and makes him feel good. The upcoming death of her BF’s mother sees her being given some pertinent advice on finding someone important to her from her past and making up for the wrong she did against Damon. Damon and Martel are restarting a relationship, built on a love from years ago, which neither has really managed to really forget! Damon is pulled away suddenly on a mission without being able to tell Martel once again and the guilt hits. So many huge emotional pulls in this second chance romance between these two great characters.

Treasure Island SEAL has Navy SEAL Ned Silver meeting bartender and occasional underwater filming diver Madison Montgomery, as he meets his recently deceased father’s pirate treasure hunter friend of old, Noonan LaFontaine. There is a lot of intrigue mixed in, as Noonan used to be one of Madison’s mother Amberly’s boyfriends years ago, but Ned’s own father was also in love with her! Pirate Jake Silver returned to his wife, Ned’s mother, when she became pregnant with him, but was never the same again. He had left something behind in Florida, bringing back a gold mermaid pendant he never took off, from a treasure dive with Noonan all those years ago. Now Ned’s mother has given it to him and told him Noonan wants to invite him down to Florida for a few weeks and share some stories of his father. Noonan has a dive all arranged to find a specific item of actually very low but sentimental value, for a family, and he wants Madison and Ned to work with him and another diver he has, to retrieve it. Ned has some time off after his father’s death and before another deployment, so ends up going down and quickly falls for the beautiful Madison. Noonan likes his drink, a bit like Ned’s father, and his lips get a little loose as he does so. Word of his treasure hunt gets out and some unsavoury characters end up following them and causing trouble. The original treasure hunt leads to so much more as something unusual is found under the water, leading to a much bigger discovery and the treasure hunt continues.

News of big treasure to be found under the ocean brings a load of unsavoury characters and even with a much larger contingent of Navy SEALs with all of their special toys, as well as a second boat, means nothing when a much bigger crew come after them. Madison and their mother end up in danger when shadowy characters move in to try and take the treasure for themselves! The romance between Ned and Madison is growing ever more intense, the only issue being that Madison wants to stay in Florida, whilst Ned is based at Coronado. He has found his own mermaid, who has stolen his heart and he doesn’t really want to let her go. A nice connection between his mother and hers, as Noonan brings together the two women who loved Jake Silver over the years. Neither of the dives brings exactly what they had hoped, especially with the danger the second one brings, as other authorities have to be called in. But it comes with a nice surprise reward to all involved and that helps one and all. Still more to come from this couple later.

Escape to Sunset has Navy SEAL Jason Kealoha come to Sunset Beach to spread the ashes of his best friend Thomas, who died in his arms during a mission in Nigeria. He is a Pacific Islander who loves the ocean and the history of his people, being able to hear the singing of natives in the waves and even in his dreams. Thomas wanted his ashes spread in the place he called home and grew up in, so Jason has been determined to follow his wishes completely. He goes out onto the beach and spreads the ashes into the water, then takes a walk along the beach and back again. He saw a woman sitting on a blanket, with a large brimmed hat and sunglasses, almost hiding from the world. When he comes back and stops just past her, she jumps up and shouts at him to leave her alone. She thinks he is someone sent to take her, after she ran a number of articles about a sex trafficking cartel in Portland. Kiley Worthington is an investigative reporter for the Columbia Passage, and her latest article caused some unwanted attention, leaving her cat dead and her car damaged. Clearly warnings from the people she was writing about! She had run away from her home and travelled to Sunset Beach, thinking it would be the last place anyone would look for her. Unfortunately, her boss, her editor Corbin Newman III, isn’t exactly happy that she has left, just as the last article was about to be published and needs fishing off. He suggests putting a male writer on re-interviewing some of her sources, but she suggests it needs a female touch and suggests her colleague Carmen, insisting that she won’t be returning!

Jason and Kiley have what she thought would just be a one night stand, in the powerful arms of someone who made her feel safe, but it becomes so much more than that. He finds there are other SEALs in the area, one just doors away, and the girlfriends are soon good company for her. They take her mind off things and make her not feel quite so alone, as Jason and the other men are called back for deployment overseas on another dangerous mission. Her editor calls with news that Carmen has disappeared and makes Kiley feel guilty for getting Carmen involved in the story! Apparently the police in Portland want her back in town to answer some questions and to bring all of her notes for them to see and review. Jason had warned her to stick about the house and with Aimee and Martel, but she doesn’t think of her own safety, just the fact the police want to speak to her and that she has to fly back to Portland immediately! Big mistake! Jason had already curbed her stubborn ways, but this places her in danger whilst he is far away and unable to help. Thankfully, they had asked Colin Riley and his company to look into whether it was connected with an earlier case the SEALs were involved in. Jason lives a life of honour amongst brothers and comes from a traditional family with close ties to his ancestors, leaving him unable to accept he can’t help, especially the woman he realises he loves! It leaves him ever more determined to get back to Florida asap and rescue his woman, with the aid of a few brothers of courses.

A great set of adventures, as SEALs find the women they can’t live without, even if the location isn’t always the greatest for the job they do. Decisions have to be made about their futures in the jobs they were made for, but also has to consider the love of their lives and the life they wish to live and where. Never an easy time, with deployments coming often at the last minute and something always happening when they do so. They need strong women to love them and be able to cope when they are away on missions, hoping that their men will return in one piece. Many make mistakes in who they partner with or marry, but it is a hard job for both the men and women involved and they need to be well matched if they are to last together. Lots of fun to read with a touch of steam at times, but more romance and adventures to enjoy. A nice touch of reality with romance! I received an ARC copy of this boxset from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the books above.

Stories with Passion and Heart

Audiobook Review:
I listened to and reviewed the big Band of Bachelors bundle by this author and only felt so-so about it. I'm so glad I decided to pick up this audiobook bundle as well, as I enjoyed it so much more. Each book focuses on one couple, but there is so much more to their stories than just the romances. We get to see the SEALs in action on the job in these books, and seeing how they work and are so good at their jobs just adds to the enjoyment of the stories. The stories aren’t just about the military and romance; we also see the heroes and their heroines grapple with deeper personal issues.

The first book focuses on addiction; the second is a second-chance-at-love story that includes a BIG secret the heroine has kept from the hero since she last saw him 10 years ago. As an addictions nurse, I'm always a bit leery about fiction that includes addiction as a part of the storylines. Unfortunately, the author didn't get this aspect quite right, or at least it doesn't reflect the experiences of my patients and how my company approaches addiction and recovery. First, the hero's best friend--and the heroine's initial boyfriend--has serious issues with both drugs and alcohol that suggest to me he needs a carefully monitored detox. While he eventually gets some sort of help in this book, no one seems to understand--even the medical people--how physically serious this could be as he always has a drink in his hand. The heroine is dealing with addiction on another front as well, and again, how this was handled by the fictional facility wasn't quite how it really works (or should work) in real life, thank goodness. It would have been great if the author didn't just have the heroine agree not to pursue any relationship with her addicted brother but also referred her to Al-Anon or Nar-Anon so she could have some support. As you might have guessed, too, from reading what I wrote above, this first book has a few other issues. I'm a firm believer that romantic books should not be based on a love triangle, as this one has with the ultimate hero and the heroine’s initial boyfriend. I don't like to see cheating in books--another fault of the initial boyfriend.

I enjoyed the second story much better, as it really tugged at the heartstrings. This couple had a complicated relationship when they were very young--late teens, early twenties--and things ended badly between them with a secret that could harpoon their second chance. I won't reveal it here; I will leave it for you to discover if you choose this book. While at times I thought the couple’s push-and-pull didn't feel believable, they are both such genuinely good people, you can't help but root for them and their ultimate romantic success. As the secret unfolds for us, the reader, the story truly brings the feels. I felt like this story ended a little abruptly, but the stories for all these couples will continue in the second audiobook Sunset SEALs bundle, which I am looking forward to.

This is a personal like, but the author is familiar with some of my current and former stomping grounds. The heroine of the second book got her teaching credential in a small town near the city I live in, and I believe there were other mentions of Northern California and Southern Oregon places…places I am very familiar with. While the books mostly take place in Florida, with a little San Diego thrown in, I love these references!

One thing this bundle really made me appreciate about the author--even though I'm not wild about all the profanity--is how she writes a love scene. She doesn't get overly clinical as so many contemporary romance authors do--thank goodness! While I love a hot and steamy story, I don't feel a need to have all of the clinical references to body parts and how they interact! This author makes the intimate scenes steamy, but it's more about the characters' connection, their feelings about each other at the moment, and their hopes for the future. The scenes are not just steamy; they are poignant and heartfelt. A real treat for a voracious romance reader and listener who sometimes find the intimate scenes a bit icky rather than romantic due to crude language and clinical descriptions of body parts and actions. I've only listened to this author's books, as she is new to me, but I'm much more interested now in actually reading her books so I can truly savor the well-written parts. I absolutely love this bundle, except for the few things I've mentioned, and I can highly recommend it.

I received a free copy of this audiobook, but that did not affect my review.

SEALed at Sunset
I’m a sucker for a hero in uniform. Give him demons to battle and I’ll be first in line putting on my Florence Nightengale cap to nurse him back to wholeness. That meant I was immediately drawn to Andy. I really liked the way this book handled the love triangle that was developing and the way it shows Andy’s commitment to honor his service-brother, the service, and this young woman he’d like to make an important part of his life. There were several clues that felt important in the moment and a couple of Aimee’s storylines that felt kind of abandoned at the end of this book. I’ve since learned that there is another book in the series that stars this leading couple and I’m very glad of it, because these two need a more fulfilling ending. I’m looking forward to reading what happens next.
Second Chance SEAL
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. However, there were a couple of things that didn’t quite work for me. I’m not sure I understand the emotions in this story. The things I thought should have more impact, Damon and/or Martel brushed off like nothing, and the things that I didn’t think were as important were treated like the only things that mattered. Also, part of this book revolves around one of the themes I like to read least. The author does a fabulous job of explaining the situation, but I had expected that this part of the plot would go differently. I’m a sucker for a second chance and I loved the ending they were able to achieve.
Treasure Island SEAL
I think this is my favorite in the series to far. It also has the most adventure and suspense of the three books as well. I liked Ned immediately. There was just something about the way he cared for and looked after his family even though there was tension between them. Madison was a tougher nut for me to connect with, and I think most of that’s on me. In the beginning, her attitude towards relationships and fidelity is very different from my own and that made it harder for me to find common ground with her. I’m left a little off-kilter by the ending, but there’s something very cute about it that has left me wanting to know more.
Escape to Sunset
I spoke too soon; this is my favorite in the series so far. Action, mystery, suspense, and lots of big emotions. This story pulled me in from the beginning and wouldn’t let me go. I loved Jason and his abiding connection with his ancestors. I adored Kiley’s passion for truth and justice, but her ‘too stupid to live’ tendencies drove me to absolute distraction. I think my favorite thing about this book is how much time we get to spend with the stars of the previous books and get to see where they are now. And now, I’m very curious to see where the second half of the series is going to take us.

This collection brings us more of SEAL Team 3 while introducing us to an idyllic and almost magical Florida Gulf Coast beach, making for a perfect backdrop for these Navy SEAL stories. They are filled with enough emotion, excitement, passion, and intrigue with touches of danger to capture your interest from each beginning and keep you turning pages until you reach each ending.

SEALED AT SUNSET brings Navy SEAL Andy Carr and Aimee Greer together, but there are complications that have the potential for Andy to lose his one and only before he even really gets a chance. Although there are many angst-filled moments, this is a touching story that is sure to keep you entertained and totally involved from start to finish.

SECOND CHANCE SEAL gives SO Damon Hamlin an unexpected chance to rekindle a love he always regretted losing while taking a much-needed break in this idyllic backdrop. Of course, for Markel Long running into Damon is not really the opportunity she thought she’d ever get, or want, which only makes things more interesting and surprising. Theirs is a tale filled with emotional growth, steamy passion, and a few twists that may surprise you but will definitely keep you reading from beginning to end.

TREASURE ISLAND SEAL takes Ned Silver, another member of SEAL Team 3, from CA to the Gulf coast of FL in search of more than just sunken treasure. After he meets Madison, he eventually comes to understand she’s the mermaid his father always wanted for him. Ned and Madison’s tale is filled with excitement, past secrets uncovered, lethal threats with unexpected twists, and lots of steamy passion that you will find thoroughly entertaining and very hard to put down.

ESCAPE TO SUNSET starts on a bittersweet note as Jason Kealoha stands on Sunset Beach saying a final farewell to his fallen Navy SEAL brother when he comes upon Kiley, an investigative reporter in hiding. While Jason’s on a mission, Kiley’s life is threatened, which makes him more determined to make his way back home. Theirs is a story filled with enough strong emotion, excitement, and intrigue to capture your interest from the very beginning and keep you turning pages until the end.

Each one of these stories takes you on an adventure you are sure to enjoy with tales you are not going to want to miss!

Second Chance SEAL - Martel and Damon - Second Chance Romance & a surprise!

Book 1-Cory and Andy are Navy Seals. Cory is home on leave to recuperate. Meets and starts dating Aimee. Andy comes to visit Cory. Cory is a mess, into drugs, sleeping around, and generally not in a good place. He heads out for an intense training program, and to get clean. Although Aimee had been his buddy’s girl, they fall for each other.
Book 2- Damon and Martel had known each other in the past, but life moved in different directions. Damon is getting divorced. They reconnect and have a second chance at love.
Book 3-Ned is a Navy Seal, and experienced diver. He goes home to help his mom after his father dies, and he agreed to help his dad’s friend Madison with a dive off Treasure Island. Nothing like diving for treasure. Ned and Madison click, and the romance goes on from there.
Book 4-Kiley is in hiding from some dangerous sex traffickers. Jason, Navy Seal, is in the area due to a brother Seal’s death and spreading the ashes. Jason runs into Kiley on the beach, and being the good guy he is wants to help her. Chemistry, and romance take off.

All the stories have an interesting and well-developed story line, with characters reappearing throughout the series. It is an enjoyable series. Each book could be stand-alone, but I recommend reading them in order to get the most out of the series. Narrator is good, with the story flowing naturally.

Sealed at Sunset
Andy goes to see his best friend, Cory, and meets his girlfriend, Aimee, there's an attraction but the bro code says you don't take your friend's girl. This seems to go out of the window as Cory is not doing well after his injury.

Second Chance SEAL
Damon has been served with divorce papers, he's not surprised but it's taking some getting used to. Then he meets Martel, a girl he treated really badly years before. Will she forgive him? Can he get a second chance? Will she tell him her secrets?

Treasure Island SEAL
Ned's father, Jake, dies and his friend, Noonan, contacts Ned to ask him to go on a dive, he travels to the other side of the country and meets Madison, the epitome of a mermaid. Throw in some treasure and some baddies and you have a good romantic suspense!

Escape to Sunset
Jason goes to Sunset Beach to put his buddy's ashes in the ocean. Andy, from Sealed at Sunset, lives at Sunset Beach and they meet up.
Jason meets Kiley on the beach, but she's terrified of him, thinking he's someone who's searching for her, due to a story she's written. She calms down and they get to know each other, but the story she's written, about human trafficking, is published early and now they really are out to get her!

Sealed at Sunset: Andy is all about helping and he doesn’t want to cause any problems. I loved how he did all he could to help his friend come to terms with his issues. Aimee was so hurt with all that was done to her, she had had it. I loved all she wanted to accomplish.
Second Chance Seal: Damon couldn’t believe he had found Martel again. She wanted nothing to do with him after the hurt he did to her. I loved how they were able to get around the secrets and hurt, and what they decide to do for their future.
Treasure Island: I absolutely loved this book and all the action. All the characters will grab you and you will be invested in their lives. This book had so much danger and action you won’t be able to stop reading. I loved how Ned and Madison dealt with everything that went against them.
Escape to Sunset: Kiley was in a lot of danger, I loved how Jason was able to help her open up. He wanted her to stay away from it all, but she had to take care of it all on her own. I loved how things in their lives ran parallel and how they each dealt with the issues.

These stories were so sweet! All about Seals who take level and find themselves on sunset Beach in Florida. They seen to all be from California, but to my understanding that's really the only connection between them all.

The first one is about a 2 friend's from buds training. When I first found out about it being a best friends girl kind of trope. I was nervous. I'm not about cheating and while they sort of fall for each other they don't do anything about the attraction until they break up.

The second is a second chance romance. While it was cute it wasn't my favorite, the back and forth got on my nerves a bit.

The third was good but took me a few tries to get through because of all the roundabout ways you find out information.

The forth was so cute! Nothing like crazy situation to bring people together!

Ned always thought Jake wronged his mother, Margaret and that she should have received it instead. She knew and accepted the mermaid he had given Ned represented a lost love and wanted him to have it.
Madison Montgomery is a bar tender and part time photographer in Florida for small salvage operator Noonan on the Barry Bones dive boat. Maddy’s mother is an eccentric work of art and changes directions at the drop of a hat so Maddy had a very interesting childhood. Maddie and Ned meet and join forces with Noonan on a three day salvaging job. They find something much more interesting and after word gets out, much more dangerous.

This review is for 3 of the 4 of the Sunset Seals included in this series which describes what can really happen to our men and women coming home from difficult missions. Reviews for book 4 coming soon.

This is books 1-4 in the Sunset SEALs series. The stories are SEALed At Sunset - Aimee and Andy's story - Best Friend's Girl.
Second Chance SEAL - Martel and Damon - Second Chance Romance and a surprise!
Treasure Island SEAL - Madison and Ned's underwater treasure love.
Escape to Sunset - Kiley and Jason - two cultures collide while she's in hiding. This is a set I would recommend. Sharon Hamilton brings her stories to life for me, once I started reading this set I was not putting it down until I was finished. I see I bought both the eBook and the Audible book I am going to listen to this set in January.

A very enjoyable series about 4 different Navy Seals who all wind up finding their soul mates that they want to settle down with in life. Each story is a stand alone story but they do intertwine a little bit as the 4 men and women settle down in Sunset Beach area in Florida. The characters are fantastic and you really enjoy reading how each of these 4 tough guys meet their match and what they do to make sure they capture their ladies hearts. Their ethics are top notch and they each have their own challenge to meet in each story. There is plenty of adventure, action, drama, mystery, romance, and so much more in each one. They also have wonderful happily ever after ending!!!

5 stars for Sunset Seals Books 1-4 by Sharon Hamilton

One of the best ways to read fabulously hot and sexy storylines is in a box set. Amazing characters and brotherhood. Strong, smart and beautiful heroines. Not too shaby hot seals. Love catching up with other Seals from other Sharon Hamilton love stories. Can't wait for the next instalment of Sunset Seals.

These books star hot, capable alpha military heroes that epitomize the all-American swoony characters that I adore. They are steamy books with open-door bedroom scenes, definitely written for mature readers. The characters are well-defined paired with strong women. Each book in this series has different plots which makes me eager to read the next books.

Theses books were enthralling and entertaining. I loved them all. Each book has the saying, “the beach fixes everything or the beach heals everything “ you get four stories with four couples, each story gets better and gives you insight into each character. An enjoyable read that I would recommend.

This is a story about 4 of the seals from Seal Team 3. The only one I've read before is book 4. These guys end in Florida for one reason or another and meet their other half. There's some danger in some, and memories to conquer.
