Djassi and Diva are called to walk two unique and demanding paths in life. Diva makes a name for herself, as the up & coming queen of Morna, singing in the downtown bars. But her dreams stretch far beyond the bars/clubs and borders of Cabo Verde. All while, Djassi is attempting to start a revolution, in order to liberate Cape Verde from the colonial grips of Portugal. On a random, beautiful and sunny day, these two strangers unexpectedly meet at Laginha Beach in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde.
