This is book # 4 in the “Tie The Knot” book series, Sage and Zane take center stage.
Sage is a baker specializing in desserts and is the owner of Dessert First. Sage is having one of the those whatever will go wrong will wrong days. She gets a late start, gets a flat tire, gas gauge light flashing red with murphy’s law going on she finally makes it the bridal expo event. Sage checks in and Zane who is also participating in the event spots her and the chemistry between the two is off the charts. Sage needs helps and Zane is the one to help her transport her dessert inside the expo and into the freezer. But guess what while Zane is away getting more desserts from Sage’s SUV; Sage manages to get locked inside the walk-in freezer and to the rescue is Zane. The two are really forming a bond and getting closer and closer. Poor Sage she is two hours late for checking into the hotel and her room is no longer available. Zane to the rescue again he invites her to stay in his room.
This is such a cute fast read romance that you will want to read and enjoy just as much as I did. Zane and Sage has awesome chemistry and it doesn’t long for the couple to realize that they are made for each other.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Dessert first is the fourth book in the ‘’tie the knot’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Sage is a baker attending a wedding expo. She isn’t looking for love but when she meets Zane, the connection instant. Zane wants Sage as soon as he meets her but will she take a chance at love?
The chemistry between Sage and Zane is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

This is instalove romance at its finest. A fun plot, super likeable characters, lots of chemistry and heat and a satisfying epilogue. Told from an alternating POV- I found both Zane and Sage's chapters equally enjoyable, which is rare for me.
If you like instalove romance at all, you should definitely give this story a try. Cook is going on my list of go-to authors for happy, quick reads. Available on Kindle Unlimited.

Dessert First. I enjoyed reading this love at first sight romance story. It keeps me believing in it. Sage is having a really bad day. Everything is going wrong for her first time setting-up for the Bride Expo. Zane appears and becomes her night in shining armor. He rescues her from several disasters and proposition her to stay with him. Life takes a turn in the right direction for Sage and Zane. This was a good read!

Not gonna lie, this one was a little bit of a mess. The page numbers didn’t work (only percentage worked). I’m also seeing some of the same wording and adjectives used again in this book that was used in others - like the lengthy lashes, etc.
The MMC professed his love on basically page 1. They knew each other all of like 2 hours and he proposed (basically) at the bridal expo.
It was still cute if you ignore those things.
The bonus chapter was pretty good though.

This was a cute insta love story with a wedding theme. Sage and Zane had really great chemistry from the start and I liked them together. The storyline was pretty good and the story was well written. I liked it.

Everything is going wrong for Sage but she manages to arrive at the conference just to meet Zane, a thoughtful and gorgeous guy who helped when she needed it. Zane warmed my heart and his love declaration made me melt right along Sage, and probably everyone else reading it.
