I am loving this anthology and all of the wonderful characters in it! This is the Bachelor with Willow and Abbot.
Willow is a PA to a self-absorbed supermodel that let's be honest, is not a very nice person. Willow needs the job, so she is at her beck and call. So, when her boss becomes infatuated with a British ball player, she sends her PA to an auction to win her a date with him. Things are about to go astray as the media thinks that Willow is the woman that really wants the date and Abbot is more than happy to be her man.
Abbot is a British footballer that has recently landed in the US to play for a new team. When his PR gal decides that he needs to soften his image she enters him in a charity auction. Much to his surprise the most beautiful, curvy woman he has ever seen is now bidding on him! This must be his lucky day!
This couple is an insta-love romance that will need to jump some hurdles before they can hopefully find their HEA!! This couple is funny, sexy, sweet and smoking off the pages!

Can he convince her he wants her, not her supermodel boss? Or is this grumpy footballer not going to get his girl this time?



Grumpy/sunshine - check. Age gap - check. British soccer (football) - check. Sweet, sexy holiday romance - check and check! I loved Abbot and Willow. Their story is fun, smokin' hot, and has a hot Scot in it. What more could you ask for in a holiday romance?!

This book was seriously funny to read, specially because of the “Gossip Girl” style website of juicy gossip. I’m a gossip girl fan (the old series, haven’t watched the new one) and I absolutely loved this little “reference “.

“Take a number, lass, everybody hates me”

“They’re tasty with a side of ketchup.”

Abbot James aka “Scottie hottie McSoccer player”, is a Scottish football player (soccer for the uncivilized).
He’s know as the Beast of Edinburg. Why? Because he’s a literal beast on the field. Always restless, angry and with a very bad temper Abbot is in dire need of a pr miracle!

“It was a misunderstanding. That’s all.”
“A misunderstanding?” Laurel asks. “He fell on your mouth and neck, beard first?”

Willow is the youngest of 3 sisters.
She works as Sabrina Wild PA. Sabrina is a former supermodel, who needs a new personality.
Willow has been working for her for the better part of a year and despite she hating her job, it pays extremely well and she needs every penny to invest in her dream.

“Why are you texting me?
UNKNOWN CALLER: We have to plan our date
ME: WE don’t have a date. You have a date with my boss.
UNKNOWN CALLER: I don’t want to date your boss. I want to date you.”

After Willow bids on Abbot, as per her bosses request, she ends up, inadvertently, calling the Scottish attention.
They’re pure fire together!

I loved Willow and Abbot love story and now I’m super curious to read her sister stories too.

This is the third book I read from this series and I’m pretty sure by now they are all great!

Willow and Abbot don’t seem to have much in common at first, but they were so good together. Abbot is the grumpy hot headed soccer, I mean football player, but with Willow he is the kindest (oh, but he also has all that dominant vibe going on… 🔥), and Willow is the very patient assistant of a mean model who has her sights set on Abbot.

Willow was really funny, her inner dialogues made me laugh. I also liked how she accepted her body even knowing it’s not a body that normally represents beauty. It’s good to see regular woman in romance because we mostly see the female characters with a perfect body who doesn’t even need to dedicate her whole life in order to have it.

Anyway, coming back to the story, we have humor, romance, hotness, an age-gap, sunshine/grumpy romance. I detected some typos here and there, but nothing that made me love the book less. I highly recommend it if you like holiday-themed books.

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Abbott meets Willow when she comes to bid on him for her boss in an auction. Willow works for Sabrina a supermodel and is the worst boss. When Willow's boss finds out that James Abbott is going to be in an auction she wants Willow to go in her place and bid on him. When she arrives at the auction she stays in the back. Abbott doesn't want to do the auction but it will be good press for him, he's a soccer player and has a lot of bad press. Willow wins the auction, when she is called to a room because Abbott wants to met her. Abbott starts to kiss Willow until his agent comes into the room and asks her to sign an NDA. Willow tells them she is actually here for her boss, but Abbott's agent wants Willow to go on a date with Abbott, it'll be good press. Willow wants them to make sure her boss knows what is going on before they make arrangements for the date. Abbott texts Willow then she gets a call from her boss who needs her to head out of the country but Willow doesn't have a passport so she can't go. Willow calls Abbott because he tells her he wants to know everything about her. After they talk a while Willow invites Abbott over since she lives alone and he lives with one of his teammates. Abbott tells Willow to get ready for him, as soon as he gets to her house he carries her to her bedroom. Abbott pleasures Willow then they make love, he figures out she's a virgin. They spend the next two days alone in Willow's home. Before long Sabrina Willow's boss is calling her with problems she is running into. Abbott also gets a phone call, he tells her he has to go home and get ready for their date. Two days later and Willow hasn't heard from Abbott since their date night. Willow gets a text from her boss that she's back and needs her. When Willow arrives at Sabrina's home there is someone else in her kitchen making her smoothie and Sabrina sitting on a bar stool. When Willow gets inside she asks Sabrina what is going on, Sabrina tells her she know she swooped in and is trying to steal Abbott from her. Willow asks her if the PR company contacted her, Sabrina tells her they did but she know she's in love with Abbott. Sabrina asks her what make her think he'll choice her over her. Willow tells her she hopes they are happy together, and she leaves. Willow is crying so hard she has to pull over and call her sister, Laurel Let's Taco 'Bout Love: Man of the Month: May to come and get her. Willow's older sister Paisley You've Got Male is waiting for them. Abbott finds out about a picture that was posted on his account with him and Willow's boss Sabrina, so he finds him agent and wants to know how posted it. Abbott takes over his social media account so that he can post pictures he wants. Several hours later Abbott pulls into Willow's home he is greeted by her sister, Paisley, she tells him if he's not here to grovel he can leave. Abbott tells her he's here to make it all right. Abbott heads to Willow's room and doesn't bother to knock on her door, he walks in and sits on the side of her bed. Willow asks him what he's doing there, he tells her he sorry he caused her pain when he sees her red eyes. Willow tells him she was a fool, he tells her she wasn't and she needs to listen to him. Abbott tells her how he wasn't in charge of his social media accounts, and that he never flirted with Sabrina. Abbott tells her he wants her to see his account then shows her several pictures of her, when they went on their first date, shot when they were baking cookies, and one of her sleeping. Abbott tells her he's head over heels in love with her, he wants to spend the rest of his live with her. Abbott tells her he loves her and Willow tells him she loves him. They spend the next day making up, he pleasures her then they make love. Willow blurts out that they should get married, but covers her mouth. Abbott asks her if she has a ring since she's the one proposing. Abbott tells her he'd love to buy her a ring, he asks her if she'll be his wife, be his forever. Willow tells him ok but he can't tell people she proposed first, he tells her he's going to tell everyone. Abbott leans over the bed and hands her a Christmas present, when she unwraps it she finds a black velvet box. Abbott walks around the bed and goes down on one knee, he opens the box and tells her that she stole his heart the moment he seen her and he asks her to be his wife. Willow tells him of course, she will.

Plot: Willow's boss is awful - a model who subsists on a liquid diet and who is currently laying a thirst trap for a recent Scottish transplant, Abbott. Abbott doesn't know this though and has no idea who the model is. Willow's boss sends her to a bachelor auction to bid on Abbott (so she won't be seen as too thirsty). Willow wins the auction and once Abbott sees her, he demands that she go on the date with him, not her boss.

Commentary: Abbott is one grumpy Scot! At some point, Willow realizes that he's probably not surly with her - that's just his face (although I think he is surly with everyone else).

Fuck my life. I walk to the front of the stage and just put my fists on my hips and stand there because I don’t know what the fuck else to do.

I love that he is so clueless about the model who is pursuing him. Of course, there's the requisite misunderstanding that left Willow crying at home and Abbott confused about what happened. They sorted it out though.

My favorite part of their initial conversation:

He leans up and stares down at me. “How old are you?” “Twenty-three.” “Old enough.” Then he grabs my neck and lowers his mouth to mine.

Eu gostei demais desse livro. Me surpreendeu, porque, pelos livros anteriores, achei que não iria curtir tanto. Abbott é simplesmente perfeito, com seu jeitinho imperfeito de ser. Willow foi uma grata surpresa, porque continuar trabalhando para uma chefe abusiva daquelas, quando ela obviamente tinha outras alternativas, não conquistou muito a minha simpatia, não. Como assim o orgulho foi maior do que o seu bem estar? Mas Willow é bem especial e acabou me conquistando.

Só não dei a nota máxima porque, novamente, a autora seguiu a linha da mocinha tirando conclusões precipitadas sobre o que o mocinho sentia por ela. E aqui foi pior, porque o mocinho já havia dito com todas as letras que a queria por toda a eternidade. Ele nunca escondeu o que sentia dela. A confusão midiática no final tudo bem, até eu ficaria confusa com tudo aquilo, mas ela já tinha tirado suas conclusões ANTES do ki-suco ferver. Outra coisa que ficou faltando foi mostrar se o projeto dela foi pra frente, se ela conseguiu realizar seu sonho. Um epílogo mostrando isso era muito necessário, pois tudo pelo qual Willow passou e suportou foi em prol desse seu projeto. Não ter nenhum detalhe sobre ele foi frustrante, confesso.

Mesmo com minhas ressalvas, eu curti bastante essa história e, claro, recomendo!

Willow, 23, works as a PA for grumpy, demanding supermodel who is a nightmare to work for, but she is well paid. Her boss sends her to a charity auction to bid on the boss’s “soulmate”, Abbott, because her boss can’t be there herself because of gossip on a celebrity website. Abbott, 35, is a gorgeous, sexy Scottish footballer( soccer player in the US) who has just joined a team in Texas and is in the charity auction to improve his reputation. Willow wins the auction for her boss but Abbott is immediately attracted to her curves, calls her mo ghaol, and circumstances force them to go on a date for publicity. Will their relationship become serious and can they find happiness together?

I enjoyed this cute instalove story with the football star known as the Beast of Edinburgh and the supermodel’s assistant who wins a date with him for her boss at a charity auction. They both feel an instant attraction but she was supposed to be getting the date for her hateful boss. It was fun to read their story and see couples from other books in their story and I enjoyed the comments form the gossip website.

I jumped at the chance to read this series, because well there are some of my favorite Authors in it as well as a few new ones that I can promise I will be reading more of. Well thought and put together. Thank you for allowing me to review these wonderful books.

I can not express how so utterly charmed I am by Kat Baxter’s book Bachelor #10, hot sexy, sweet cheeky holiday romance will forever stat with me. Absolutely fricking swoon material.*grins*

Willow McLeod does not give herself enough credit as to her own worth and sexiness. Working for the wicked witch of the west, Willow is asked to do her bidding. The question is who will be doing the winning?

Abbott James is a soccer (Footballer) straight from London, who is now a Austin, Texas resident . He is know as the Beast, for his straight forward comments, bad attitude. Can this man be tamed? I know a bunch of gossip mongers want to know.

Pick-up Bachelor #10 and get acquainted with Abbott and Willow, you won't be disappointed.

This was such a cute read! I loved Abbot and his wicked since of humor and Willow was the perfect match for him with her independence and sassiness. She is working for a supermodel from hell when she is told she needs to go to a charity auction for her boss to bid on him (her soulmate) Willow wins the auction and before she can tell Mr. McHottie that the date is for her boss not her, he falls for her curvy self and wants to date Willow. Dimples (named by Abbot) finds him texting her steamy texts and invites him over where things get super steamy. Willow’s boss from hell throws a wrench in their story when she fakes pictures of herself and Abbot. Abbot takes it upon himself to correct the mistake and goes after his girl. This is the perfect Christmas read for everyone. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for Ben and Stella’s story. I love that Kat has included Willows sisters and brothers-in-law from other books.

This is a fun and steamy instant love story that has the right amount of heat to keep your warm on those cold nights. Abbott knows when he sees Willow that she is the one who can tame him, but when an intern makes a few posts on his behalf his world is going into a tailspin. I love the passion and desire the Abbott has for Willow. Grab this hot story and get ready to melt in your seat.

She works her butt off and puts up with her boss all the while saving to open her own business someday. Willow's boss has set her sights on Abbott and has been talking about it all over social media. The gossip rags get ahold of her flirting and take it to another level. When Abbott is slated to be one of the bachelors for a charity auction, Willow's boss makes Willow go and bid on her behalf. Problem is, nobody told Abbott about this plan.

Another wonderful story about a growly alpha male and his curvy woman. Kat Baxter has a way of writing that sucks you right into the story making you feel like your are there. Her witty dialog and fun banter keeps you engaged and wanting more.

Her boss decides that she wants Abbott, who is a famous football player from across the pond. He has moved to the US to play soccer. Willow finds herself caught between her boss, Abbott and a social media gossip site. She never expected him to notice her but he felt the pull the same as she did. They end up falling fast for each other. Things get complicated while having to wade thru his PR issues and be the focus of so many. Willow questions his feelings but Abbott is going to prove that they belong together. I really enjoyed this short holiday romance. It had plenty of laughs, family, friends, passion and love. Although it is short, the story still gives you everything you want for holiday romance.

Willow McLeod works for Sabrina Wilde. Willow is a curvy girl and Sabrina is literally a supermodel.

Abbott James is a 35 year old Scottish footballer. He is now playing for the Austin Bats. He is taking part in the Austin bachelor charity auction. A gossip columnist wrote that Sabrina is setting a thirst trap for Abbott and will be bidding on him at the auction. Sabrina decides to send Willow to bid on Abbott for her. Sabrina does have a delusion that she and Abbott are soulmates because they are both hot and famous.

The auctioneer makes Willow and the other last bidder come to the front of the stage. Abbott takes one look at Willow and likes what he sees. There is obviously confusion later on because it wasn’t Willow but Sabrina who won the date.

Poor Willow likes Abbott but knows her boss, Sabrina is going to freak out.

I was rooting for this couple throughout the book.

Is It Football or Soccer?
Fantastic story. Abbott is not happy to be auctioned off for charity. He doesn’t mind helping the children but, a date with a stranger? Come on. Then he sees the woman who wins him and everything changes. Willow is only bidding for her boss to go on a date with Abbott. Once the press gets wind of it she has no choice but to go on the date herself. The chemistry between them is off the charts. The gossip mags are having a field day. After Willow’s boss posts a comprising pic of her and Abbott he’s furious. Now having to do damage control he hopes that Willow will listen to him. Willow can’t believe she allowed herself to fall for Abbott. Will these two find a way to their HEA? Have a churro and find out.

When you have a Grumpy Football player who had to move across the pond to start afresh, a curvy assistant stuck with Satan's minion for a boss and a Gossip site that knows it all you have laughter and more. Abbott is everything Willow din knew she wanted but deserves. It's insta love for both of them when they meet at the charity auction the one which Abbott is forced to participate in and Willow is sent by her boss to bid on Abbott.
When they end up on a date to clear the PR nightmare Willow is unable to accept that "The Scottie hottie McSoccer player" could fall for a girl like her.
As she says⚡ doesn't strike the same family thrice.
It isn't easy for Abbott to convince Willow but we cannot forget the She-Devil from hell who claims Abbott to be her soulmate.
It's a fun read filled with all the emotions and a Christmas miracle😁.

In this short instalove tale, Willow's boss Sabrina is a cranky model who is crushing on a football player (that's soccer for you heathens). Abbott James is a Scottish hottie and Sabrina wants Willow to bid on him for her at a charity bachelor auction. Because Sabrina doesn't want to look desperate. However, Abbott takes one look at Willow and knows he wants her. Willow hears his accent and that's all she needs. Gossip sites and Sabrina cause a little drama. This was a fun little story that I finished in one sitting. I like the flirting and the snarky thoughts that Willow has. Steam level: she definitely finds out what's under his kilt. This book is a part of the 12 Days of Kissmas series and focuses on Abbott and Willow. Willow is the younger sister of Paisley (you’ve got male) and Laurel (lets taco ‘bout it). She is working for a supermodel who, quite honestly, is awful when she gets roped into bidding on Abbott at a charity date auction. Her boss wants her to bid on Abbott for her so she doesn’t appear any more desperate to the media. As soon as Abbott sets eyes on Willow he knows right away that there is something special about her and sets out to make her his. Things are going great for the two of them until the media and her boss get in the way. Thankfully, Abbott is not about to give up the love of his life. This was such a great story! I cannot wait for Ben’s story!

I loved everything about this steamy Christmas romance. Abbott was like a Scottish Roy Kent from “Ted Lasso,” a grumpy soccer player who needs the love of a good woman to tame the beast inside. He’s got a reputation for being a Beast to those around him but that all changes the first time he sees Willow. The first time they meet is HOT and just gets better from there!

I also absolutely adored the character of Willow. Her thoughts and interactions with her boss are hilarious! I also loved her relationship with her sisters. They are so close and support each other so much. The relationships built in Kat’s books are goal worthy. I absolutely recommend this book, or any of her books! This was such a wonderful book! Abbot and Willow are completely taken with each other but they have some obstacles to overcome. Abbot is completely taken with Willow but she doesn’t understand why. Her boss is a model and has Willow go to a charity auction to bid on a date with Abbot on her behalf.
Abbot won’t hear of it, he demands a date with Willow. He manages to convince her to go out with him and they have a great time! Willow realizes that she’s falling for Abbot but he beat her to the punch and is in love with Willow.
Kat Baxter does a fabulous job telling their story. Their instalove story is steamy and wonderful! Kat delivers another great book. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!!!

Willow is the PA for a supermodel, who is no where near a nice person. There are days when she should take up her brother-in-law's offer of investment and quit this job. Now she want her to go to a bachelor charity auction and bid on her "soulmate".

Abbott has moved to a soccer team in Texas , he is getting older, he is told the weather would be better on his knees. He gets pushed into a bachelor auction, an attempt to improve his bad boy image. When he sees the gorgeous cutie that won him, he has someone bring her to him. He cannot help but kiss her.

He finds he was bought for her boss, who he has no idea who she is. It is decide that it is best if Willow is his date. The two have such chemistry, what will happen when Willow's boss finds out?

This is an OTT sexy insta-love story! Willow is the PA to a model and Abbott is a professional soccer player they meet at a charity auction when Willow bids on a date with him for her boss. Abbott tells her that he's only interested in a date with her not her hateful boss. Willow doesn't understand why he would want her and not her grumpy boss he finally convinces her that ateful boss let her win or will she interfere? You really need to read this cute story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book

The Beast and his Dimples... oh this was a fantastic book.. a sexy Scottish Footballer and a curvy beautiful PA.
Instant attraction, heat and passion, and a forever love.
Willow cant believe the possition her boss put her in, now she has to go out on a date with a sexy Scottish man who's voice itself makes her swoon. It doesn't take long for her to give into the passion and chemistry floating between her and Abbott.
Abbott knew from first sight of Willow he knew she was ment to be his. He does not care if she was bidding on him for her boss, he only wants Willow and he will only have Willow.

Loved this book. 50 fun filled stars

This was such a fun book to read. The title grump/sunshine age-gap love is perfect. That is Abbott is a grump until he meets Willow. They balance each other. Willow works as an assistant to a supermodel who has her sights set on Abbott. Due to some poor press, she has Willow attend a bachelor auction and bid on a date with him for her. It all backfires for the supermodel because one look at Willow he was smitten. Read the book to see what follows. I will say Willow walks out on her job but the supermodel isn't down for the count yet. It's so good. I enjoyed it so much and hope you will as well. Written by Cindy :)

Willow (sister to Paisley and Laurel) works for a devil woman. Abbott is a bad boy with a Scottish brogue. He's a bachelor in a charity auction she attends for her boss, but there was some confusion, and now she has to go on the date instead of her boss (who is beyond mad). When Abbott saw her bidding on him, he was smitten. Finding out she bid as a proxy for her boss did not make him happy. And his PR lady is demanding she go on the date, not her boss.

This was the best of the 3 books. I laughed often in this one.

This was a cute story and very hot. It stars Abbott, a new soccer player in the USA from Britain and he meets Willow when she bids on him for her evil boss. He falls hard for her but he has to work for her heart. It was a hot, fun and cute story and I enjoyed the writing and characters.

Its a novella size book but also a complete story. Things moved fast but also at a good pace to keep me interested. I found the evil boss a bit on the funny side and I liked how the characters dealt with her.

Warning! Grumpy Deliciousness Ahead…

O. Mo. Creach. Abbott James is one hot, Scotsman. He goes after what he wants and he wants Willow, from the moment he first sees her.

What a first date! And I don’t mean the one that has been manufactured by an overeager PR manager and an insufferable purveyor of gossip. I mean the one where Abbott and Willow both get lucky.

I enjoyed Willow and Abbott’s story so much. It was sweet and sexy and Abbott made me want to drool. It was also fun to visit with Willow’s sisters, Paisley and Laurel, two of Kat’s previous heroines.
