Ahhh.. This series is freaking LIT😍😍😍
I can't just get over how amazing each book in this series is and with each book I'm all the more left wanting more.
This one is of Roman, the assassin and Valentina's brother and Mary who we meet in book 3 as Tara's friend.
The prologue is chilling with how Roman is assigned with a brutal assignment and yet he finds a kindred soul in just one look in Gisela. But his partner destroys the only ray of light he'd felt in so long.
Now Roman is allied with the Kilpatrick family as his sister Valentina is married to one of the brothers Nolan.
The Devil's Auction was meant to save Shane's girl Tara, but when a certain girl catches his attention, he bids on her to claim her.
Mary had only entered the devil's auction so she could finally have the money to live her life in freedom. Her friend had already set her up with a client who would buy her but it all goes to a toss when a handsome stranger ends up buying her instead.
Mind you at every turn there's so much going and action and chase. Like Mary been kidnapped then saved results in a fight that roman wins but had no intention of getting involved in.
Then there's Mary's past when she worked for a federal agent and so many Secrets she's still hiding from Roman.
And amidst all these, the long time coming war with Greeks finally starts throwing chaos and Mayhem everywhere.
OMG... I'M ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY LOVING EACH AND EVERY BOOK IN THIS SERIES. AS EACH RIDE IS FILLED WITH SECRETS, SOME CRAZY DRAMA AND LOTS OF ACTION AND THAT SWEET BOND OF LOVE FORMED IN THE MOST UNCOMMON CIRCUMSTANCES.
That ending scene is so scary when the children and women are surrounded in their place of living when they are attacked suddenly and I admired how Mary acts bravely. I loved how she stands up.
AHH.. What a crazy amazing ride this one was and next is Leo's book. Yay! So excited for his book. Loved loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️

What I roller-coaster ride this author has given us readers to take a seat on. I was absolutely invested from word one.
I could not put it down today at all.
Roman and Mary's story was simply amazing, in a dark, twisted and stormy way.
Roman is a savage, a monster!
Mary has had a hard life.
These two together are wow!
I loved the story from beginning, middle and the conclusion!
Im very much looking forward to reading Leo's story next!

This is the wickedly dark and delightful story of Roman and Mary. So, turn up the A/C, and grab an ice cold drink because this one is so hot, you will be melting as soon as you start to read. Mary is desperate to get away from a psychologically obsessive FBI agent who has decided she belongs to him and has stalked her from city to city, leaving her feeling there is no safe place for her to go to escape him. Mary learns of an auction where she can sell her body to the highest bidder for one night and plans to enter so she can have money to go someplace far, far away where she will never be found. Roman is at the auction and takes one look at Mary and sees his teenage crush’s face staring back at him! Roman knows it cannot be her since she was killed by his partner years before. She was the girl who has haunted Roman because he could not protect from his partner. Roman decides to purchase Mary to protect her from some of the other men in the room who are bidding on her. Roman is the highest bidder but another man who would have won Mary if he had not doubled his bid tries to steal Mary right after the auction. Roman recovers Mary, kills the other bidder, and there begins his obsession with Mary, which starts with him telling Mary she belongs to him for 30 days and 30 nights, not just one.
In the way that only Sasha Leone can do, the reader is fully immersed into the emotional traumas that plague both Roman and Mary. As a teenager, Roman was given to the Greek mafia as a slave to be trained as an assassin. On a daily basis Roman was beaten and tortured, as well as each time he failed to please his master. The scars on his back and body are nothing compared to the psychological damage inflicted on Roman over these pain filled years. Like Roman, Mary too has had a difficult life that brought her to the point where she agreed to sell her body to the man with the most money. I won’t give away the rest of the wonderful story but know that there are plenty of twists and turns that Ms. Leone inserts into her novel to keep the reader enthralled! The emotional healing that occurs between these two, as well as the love that develops from their vulnerability to one another, will bring the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotion as only Ms. Leone’s epic tales can do. She is a master craftsman of words which pull at the readers heart and take them to the highest mountain peaks and the lowest depths of hell. I have never been able to put aside one of Ms. Leone’s novels to take a break when reading them. In fact, without fail after I have started reading one, a compulsion to finish the novel uninterrupted consumes me until the final word! Wicked Master is no exception. Wicked Master is the 4th book in the Brutal Reign series by Sasha Leone. It can be read as a standalone, but better appreciated if you have read the series in order. Roman Barinov was an assassin slave for 12 years and the things he had to do had slowly chipped away at his humanity until nothing was left. Roman is no longer a slave, but he is haunted by the ghost of a girl he couldn’t save and when he sees a girl at the Devil’s Auction who reminds him of her, he can’t walk away. Mary sells herself at the Devil’s Auction to be a slave for a man for a month, as a chance to be free from her past, what she doesn’t count on is Roman and the feelings he stirs in her.
Wicked Master is a fabulous read! Sasha is a wonderful writer and and storyline is fantastic. It’s a fast-paced page turner that will easily hold your interest until the end. The characters are well developed and have a lot of depth. Mary is perfect as the desperate country girl who will do anything to recover the life she’s lost. She’s smart and cunning. Life has made her hard, but underneath it all she just wants to be loved and to belong, but she’s too much of a realist to hope that person could be Roman. Roman is a man controlled by his demons. The past 12 years has kept him from living any sort of life and he hopes to change that. He’s super possessive and protective and will do anything to help Mary get free of her past. Another great book in this series! This is the story of Roman and Mary. Roman has been gone for 9 years – he belonged to the Greeks and was a trained assassin for them. However, as we learned in one of the other book’s, he heard a terrible story about his sister Valentina and had to escape so he could save her. Fortunately he was on time to help save her, and he was able to be reunited with her and his brother Leo. However, he felt alone and not as close to them as brothers and sisters should. He missed out on getting to know them. Roman is dark, dangerous and a trained assassin. Mary is a recovering addict and also a friend of Tara’s from the rehab center. Mary is on the run from a DEA agent who has gone rogue. She is strong, feisty and will do just about anything to get out of her current situation and buy back her parents farmhouse in Arkansas.
This book will keep you on your toes! Roman runs into Mary in an ally and she reminds him of a young girl who was killed by Nico (Roman’s partner in the Greek organization). HE will buy her at any cost. There is so many twists and turns, drama, action, violence, revenge, and finding out what it really means to have a family surround you. I stayed up later than I should so I could finish this story and I definitely do not regret it! Great story, great characters – I love how the characters aren’t forgot about in this series – they all make an appearance at some point. I am looking forward to reading Leo’s story next! This is good, if you’ve been enjoying this series as much as I have you won’t be disappointed. Here we get Mary and Roman’s story. You may remember that Mary is the friend who convinced Tara to join the Devil’s Auction.
Mary was also in the auction having been pre-arranged to be bought by an oil tycoon. She’s on the run from an unhinged federal agent. Of course, her plans are ruined when she’s instead won by Roman Barinov. Mary is a fairly likable heroine.
Roman is Valentina’s brother and former assassin for the Black Delphi. As a hero, he’s a bit rough around the edges. He’s had a very difficult life so that fits with his story. I found him difficult to like, especially in the beginning. In fact, I didn’t actually start to like him at all until he tracked Mary back down after letting her go. I couldn’t understand his early reactions to having Mary bought Mary.
Story 4/5, Spice 3/5, I’d put this on the faster side of a medium burn, virgin hero (for real, you don’t come across this often), no condoms, a bit of bondage, he’s an assassin and this is a mafia book so obviously some violence, there’s a 6 month separation which made sense for the story - neither are with others during separation. There’s no cheating, no cliffhanger and a HEA.
This is a great addition to this series. Also that cover model is fire and a perfect Roman Barinov.

Roman is a very damaged and extremely dangerous anti-hero. My heart broke about his past and the secet society of assassins. His siblings Leo& Valentine made me laugh with their match maker to Roman. He doesn't fear death but he fears love.
Mary she is one big complicated character. I was questioning her when I read her POV. What's her real name? Did that really happen to her parents? Is she is a rat?
This is a action packed and bloody love story. They are very enemies to lovers and they burn together. They heal each other from their dark past. Roman a blood trial that he was forces to do and Mary drug addiction that's got her in hot waters. Now they have created a strong & lovely family and what happened in between is one hell of a journey
A war is coming and will they survive. Not only Roman and Mary but his family too....
I love ghe action scenes so much and banter makes me smile 😆

Mary is trying to get as far away as she can from a shady FBI agent who is stalking her which is why she auctioned herself off for a night for a lump sum of money so she could run far away to never be found. She sure didn't see Ronan coming. The moment he saw her, he knew that he was going to win her, not to mention keep her safe from some really bad men bidding. He tells her that one night isn't going to do it, that he's got her for a month so let the dark & sexy games begin. They have chemistry in spades, but unlike most books, our hero is a virgin with serious scars inside and out from his training to become an assassin. And that's all that I'm going to say about that. See, Wicked Master isn't only darkly delicious, but the twists had me dropping loud f-bombs, and the angst of Ronan's demons really kept me emotionally turning pages as quickly as possible. Will Mary be able to calm the monster?! You know what to do to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is the 4th book in this amazing series and is Roman and Mary’s journey. Mary has had a tough life, and to add to her woes she has an obsessive FBI agent who is stalking her, and when she hears about an auction, she enters hoping that she will be able to use the money to move again. Roman is haunted by a dark past and he attends the auction, and from one glance he knows that he is going to bid on Mary, as she reminds him of his past. Roman is possessive and protective of Mary, and the chemistry between them is intense and undeniable. This is a well written story which is dark, twisted, intense, fast paced, and is an emotional roller coaster throughout. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

What a brilliant story...i could not put this down!! The plot was intense, fast paced and seriously hot!! Mary and Roman are such opposites but completely perfect for each other! Roman is the perfect Alpha and always gets what he wants!! I genuinely enjoyed the chemistry build up between him and Mary. I also loved how unusual it was for the MMC to be broken and damaged, but its that damage that makes him very dangerous!!
This is a dark, action packed roller coaster of a read, that you will love! I cant wait for more from this author

Roman Roman Roman. Oh how perfect he is. So sexy, brave, fearless and possessive. I love how he takes control In And out of the bedroom. I love how different he is to other leading men when it comes to notches on their bedpost. The heroine Mary is feisty and perfect for him and the kilpatrick’s are the family everyone wants to have. Their bond is amazing.
Sasha Leone has written another awesome book and each one in this series keeps getting better and better. Highly recommended

Captivating, deliciously dark and smexy
Wicked Master is the fourth book in the Brutal Reign series and it is a fantastic deliciously dark and enticing read. The story is about all kinds of wrong which turns into the best kind of right. It is well written, has a story-line that will captivate you at the beginning and keep you reading late into the next morning as you just cannot put it down. I really loved Mary as she has not had an easy life and even though she has made some really bad choices in her life she is now trying to start over and make a better life for herself. That is not easy though as she has an obsessive stalker who just so happens to be an FBI agent. But she finds she might just have an opportunity to finally get away from him for good. It involves putting herself up for auction. Things don't quite go as expected when the winning bid is placed by Roman. He is a man who takes one look at the beautiful young woman and all his possessive and protective Alpha instincts come roaring out. She reminds him of the one woman who had stolen his heart years ago and he is determined to keep Mary safe. When he finally has Mary he lets her know that their arrangement will actually be for 30 days and nights, not the one she thought. Did Mary just jump out of the frying pan and into the fire that is Roman? Will he be able to keep her safe and protected? But more importantly will Roman let Mary leave at the end of their time together? So many questions and such a great story.

He has escaped his master and reunited with his family, but he still must find his footing and the relationship with his sister and brother needs to be stronger. It’s not as simple as Roman thought it would be to run the family legacy and remain free from the master that took him as a teen.
This book was action packed as well as steamy. Mary and Roman fight the attraction from the beginning. At first Mary is just a tool for Roman to right a wrong nine years ago, but the pull he feels from her is messing with his mind. When their pasts come back and they find that they have now intertwined, their lives, families, and happiness could be torn away from them. They will have to fight for what they never knew they really wanted. I loved the story and the characters, and I am looking forward to Twisted Lover. I give this book a 5-star review. If you are looking for a dark mafia, organized crime story with great characters and twisted enemies, you will love the Brutal Reign Series and Wicked Master.

This was amazing read with two wonderful main characters that are absolute opposites of one another . Mary & Roman are brought together because she was bought at auction that she was forced to participate in and he bought her only because she reminded him of someone he was obsessed with in the past.
Roman was handsome & powerful mafia alpha male who gets what he wants by any means necessary and he totally wants Mary because she has green eyes and blond hair and looks like Gisela. This is the fourth book in this series by this author. This is the story of Roman and Mary, these two characters have extremely hot and steamy chemistry between them from the start. This story will definitely melt the pages on your kindle. This is a wickedly dark but lovable story around these two characters. This book can be read as a stand alone read but reading the others in this series will make you appreciate the story better. This is a fast paced, page turner of a read, you will be gripped from the first page to the very last one. This story is full of drama, suspense, action and romance. This is a fantastic addition to this series from this author.

My favorite book in this series!! Roman is brutally raised to be an assassin, no heart, no soul, killer of men, women, and children. He was taught to kill whoever his Master told him to. When he sees the girl of his dreams killed in front of him during a mission by his partner, he reconsiders everything. Mary in trying to escape a corrupt FBI agent who abuses, controls, and blackmail her to do what he wants. To get the money to escape, she lets herself get sold for a month of se**al slavery. There Roman sees her, buys her, and rescues her from being kidnaped from the auction. The relationship is twisted, intense, emotionally surprising to both. There is brutal action, betrayal, twists, and turns. Roman & Mary are my favorite couple and I loved this book. You can read this book and the rest of this series for FREE with KU.

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well, the characters were incredible and the action just keeps going throughout the book. Roman was a trained killer for the Greeks they sent him to kill a family and he tried to get Gisela to run but, before the both of them knew it his partner shot her he thinks her name is Mary. Gisela escaped from two killers she had a man kept her until he can organise to put her and the other girls up for Auction so she can be free. She wanted to know who he is and he wanted to know who she was, Roman got sick of the bantering. Roman said to her he is Roman Barinov. Prince of the shadows. Heir to the Black Delphi, a secret society of the world’s most feared assassins. I’ve killed more men than some armies. In New York, I work directly with the king. In this house, I am king. And you are my captive now tell me about you who are you!

I absolutely loved Roman’s character, he was protective, affirmative and still had a hint of humour to him. I am loving the whole sub plot line this series is bringing and I love how we are finally seeing loose ends being tied up. I love how we got to learn all about Roman’s past and how he ended up being the character we see in his story. Mary was a great addition to the series, her fiery personality was really refreshing and I love how she handled being just thrown straight into the family business. I will say the only issue I am having with this series is that the plot line for book (romance wise) is pretty much copy and paste and it’s getting a little repetitive. Anyway, can’t wait to see how this series ends!

Amazing book. The author certainly has a way of making you feel what the characters are feeling, suffering when the characters suffer and keeping you on edge as to what's going to happen. I loved Roman and Mary and how their story unfolded as their truths came out. Roman saw Mary and knew he had to have her no matter what it took and for the right price he could make her his to do whatever he wanted with. Mary is on the run and doing whatever it takes to survive. Both Roman and Mary have their motives as to why they are doing what they do. It's definitely an entertaining and suspenseful dark Mafia romance and with plenty of steam to heat up the pages.

Reader beware, this is a dark, intense read with possible triggers...Roman bought Mary at a Virgin Auction as she looked just like a teenage crush he once had...when he was sold to a Mafia to be trained as an assassin...he liked her, but she was supposed to be his target, and another did kill the look-alike. There was another bidder, but Roman doubled the bid to two million dollars, depriving the other man...then informed her the contract not for one night, but thirty days and nights...there are lots of twists, turns, deceit and remembrances in the book, but an intriguing roller-coater ride for Roman and Mary...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Well if you read Cruel Knight (Shaun Kilpatrick & Tara) how the ending was when Tara asked Roman about Mary?? Well that is Basically chapter 25 in this book, 6 months after the whole 30 days and 30 nights ‘ownership’ from The Devil’s Auction. Where Roman brought Mary at first sight because Mary looks like a girl that Roman was tested to kill but he fell for her and let escape, but was killed by another. Roman and Mary has dark pasts, secrets and feel broken. The most unusual topic that been mentioned was Roman is a unicorn (my title for a rear occurrence) this assassin and former slave is a virgin! Mary will be his first and only in this story, as he’s Mary’s last.

A fine mafia romance
This is one well done dark mafia romance. A true roller coaster ride through and through. It was super hard to put it done. It has all the feels in it and I loved the danger element. It just adds such a thrill to the entire plot.
Mary and Roman are an insane couple. Both are twisted in the own ways. Both have had messed up and brutal pasts. But in some way these two people fit so well together.
Wicked master is not for the faint of heart. It has a fair share of violence. But it is an amazing read. The story is fast paced with an intense, and full of suspense plot.

This is a dark romance so please beware. I absolutely loved this book. This book hit every single box for this type of a romance. The dark hero/villain. The not so broken girl. Who could not love a man who starts out as a villain and slowly transformed into a dark hero who would do anything for the woman he loves. How can you not love a girl who goes from her life spiraling down to taking control and to making any one not the of her life start paying for the wrongs done to her. The off the chart hot sex scenes are just the icing on the cake.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Roman and Mary have a dark and gritty love story. They are both damaged in different ways by their past. She is on the run and decides to auction her body for money. She has to find a way to get away from her stalker. Roman sees the good part of his past when he sees her at the aucton. His protection turns into so much more between them. There are some twists and turns that you will not expect. This story was really hard to put down. The characters pull you in and the emotions are from one extreme to another
