Elrus, the kingdom of knighthood, honor, and fierce tradition. A culture as immovable as the ancient stone cliffs it calls home, there is no room in this society for sexual exploration.
Heath Vorsal is at the height of his career. Influential, wealthy, and a prodigy with the sword, the young knight has ascended to the highest imperial rank. Dispatched to investigate a sinister power growing in the south, he is a representative of Elrus to the world…but none know his deepest secret.
Smoldering, unquenchable lust for a young male peasant.
Today, seduced and ensnared by inexplicable magic, his forbidden yearning is thrust into the open. Bound by shackles of desire, Heath will soon be forced to accept how utterly powerless he truly is.

It's insanely short. But as a prelude to a series is pretty good. Logically, there is little plot, but you get a pretty good picture of the world and the two characters. I like the dynamic between Heath and Caio. I like the writing, although I would normally run away from something like that, but somehow it fits here 🤷🏼♀️
Caio’s expression remains unchanged, still focusing intently on my leaking broadsword while he polishes his own. 😂
i wanted to read this series to comfortably reach my reading goal, but after all there is no shame in lowering the number if i need to. i can easily do that. i definitely can’t read this
Cute short erotica that is a prelude to a larger series, set in a fantasy world. So many euphemisms for cock, some of them fairly silly. But it still worked!
Set in a mystical world, grown childhood friends acknowledge desires and then act upon them, as one sets out on a dangerous quest and the other fights to accompany him. Good beginning to an erotic series. Reminds me a bit of my freshman year.
This is super short, so there’s not a lot of time for world building, but the author gets in a little. I hope subsequent books keep building things, and I’m fairly confident it will end up being an interesting read.
The spicy scene dominates the short, but it is…weird. Not logistically weird, it’s just a bit of first time fun, but the way it’s written…I’m struggling with my own words right now.
There’s a lot of interesting choices in vocabulary that made me grimace in disgust. I genuinely tried to keep my mind from wandering into the gross images that words like “bloated” bring up, but I can say, at least the author didn’t use the word “turgid” to describe any of the boy parts. (It’s so gross when authors do that)
Even though the vocabulary choices were disruptive for spicy scenes, I’ll keep reading the series. If I review again, it’ll be on the final book.
Recommend? Well, I am going to invite my book group along for this ride, so maybe?
I liked it, short, and direct. It's a chapter with only a few pages and that makes me wonder if it's worth buying. I mean each chapter costs 2 dollars while the complete books are 5 dollars. Maybe if you release a compilation I can read the other books.
Though I am bound, I feel truly liberated for the first time.
The King of Elrus has summoned Heath for a chat; Heath is the head of the King’s royal guard.
There have been strange goings-on in Sa’arre, a faraway desert city-state. The unlikely events lead the King to dispatch Heath to learn more, as a contingency plan.
In their society, it’s forbidden to be gay. But Heath is. And he’s in love with his best friend, Caio.
Adequate world-building for a first book in the series.
Heath is distraught, as he realizes he must tell Caio that he is once again leaving him. Caio can’t come with Heath; he doesn’t have the training.
But Caio has been practicing…other skills. 🤔
And the longing is mutual. 🙌🏻
Interesting magical elements. Really strong action that’s super hot. Correct anatomy, physiology, and verbiage. It’s almost impossible to believe that this is the same author who wrote a bizarre, Gay For You garbage story.
It’s great to see feelings and intimacy early on.
Very cool and promising conclusion. Definitely looking forward to the next installment.
