Bufff... molta toxicitat, abús de poder raríssim, falta de comunicació, anades i vingudes per acabar amb una relació idíl·lica gens versemblant. Em cansen força els drames innecessaris que no porten enlloc, ni les il·lustracions ho salven, la veritat :( (relació entre un jove meteoròleg que amaga una cara molt fosca i un mangaka hentai insegur i manipulable)

I would have rated this higher except... Didn't you drop a pretty big plot point towards the end of the story after making a big deal out of it? What happened to You's career as a mangaka?? 😂

So this is the story of You, an artist who makes manga for male readers (basically porny stuff) and Misaki, who's a weather reporter.

At one point, You's friend Manjuu asks him what kind of music he listens to while working and You tells her about the programme Everyday Weather, where Misaki works as the reporter. Manjuu instantly falls for Misaki's good looks and adopts him as an oshi (her 'bias' to borrow from Kpop speak). She has no idea You is living with Misaki. And they're basically lovers even though You has no idea why or how it happened. What he does know is that Misaki has a really shitty attitude when he's not in public. He's rude and selfish and spoiled.

Turns out they went to the same uni and Misaki... basically told You to live at his place so he wouldn't have to worry about money while trying to make it big as a mangaka.

There are some stuff I love about this:

- You's Pavlovian response to Misaki saying 'It would be sunny tomorrow' on the show because they usually have sex when it's sunny the next day (reason revealed later, and surprisingly it wasn't Misaki's idea!)
- All of Manjuu's scenes lol, especially when she finally meets Misaki in the flesh and she coins the term OshiKare, which is when your oshi turns out to be your friend's boyfriend (kareshi)
- The exploration of the relationship between and otaku and a normie. Misaki gets jealous of You's friendship with Manjuu not only because of 'but she's a girl :((' but I think also because Misaki has 0 idea about otaku stuff. It's not a big deal in the story, but I like that it's there.
- Misaki's reason for falling for You. Like honestly it's a bit selfish, but also he eats You's curry even if it sucks ass so honestly 🥺

But at some point You gets worried about his career and wonders if maybe he should quit and... It never comes up again. They don't talk about it except for Misaki to tell him it doesn't matter since You can freeload at his place anyway. But like... What happened. Will he ever switch to BL even though he likes boobs? I want to know.

The art is really nice and their sex scenes is A+ (I do like me a shitty seme with a bad attitude, but Misaki isn't actually that trashy). You struggling to tell Misaki how he really feels is also cute. Generally a cute little story!
