Great world building for over 150,000 years
This epic space opera is the Energizer Bunny of sci-fi. The science is soft, the characters are hard- bodied, and the tale is evolutionary-plot driven. Not much drama, decent combat, and seldom boring. It's good solid entertainment. If you're looking for the "next great American novel", these are not the droids you're looking for.

Start this series if you haven’t.
This series is a bit of a slow burn, but if you can stick with it, it becomes maybe the biggest world building experience and empire building experience I’ve ever even heard of. I’ve never read a series so vast, and yet so detailed. And I read a lot.
Give it a shot and stick with it for a couple books (they’re short), and you won’t be sorry.

Very imaginative
Develops characters and civilizations well with a careful progression in intensity as civilizations are encountered.
What I can't overlook is poor choices of words, tenses, even spelling and meaning of thewriting. A good dose of spellchecker and grammerly would help.

Can I say cliff hanger major
I wait each month for a new book to come out. This one leaves with Paul-024 cliffhanger now Im going to wonder and imagine what the heck is going on. Good series.

Amazing imagination
Went ahead and gave it 5 stars even though it is really a background for the future book. Jyr has proven in the past the necessity of this type of information to make the future books amazing.

Just finished book 87 in the series
I can't wait for the next book! This is top notch such at its best. It will be interesting to see how many off the technological items show up over the next 20 years!

I’ve been reading this series from the beginning and I can’t wait to continue. Engaging, masterful characters and world building. I’ve never enjoyed a read so much without romance!

Brilliant
When I got towards the end of this book I was thinking oh no, no more books in the series but boy was I wrong if you are not aware it continues in Gauntlet Wars. A message to all authors out there THIS is how you do an amazing series.

I can't get enough of this series, even if I am reading a book I stop and read this one. I

Different but good different
Good length and good plot building. Will be interesting to see how / if this spins out in the future story line. Way to end with a ciff hanger.

Great series. I highly recommend it.
