About the author

Christopher D. Abbott

Christopher is a Reader's Favorite award winning author and Star Trek Feature Writer.

Described by New York Times Bestseller Michael Jan Friedman as "an up-and-coming fantasy voice", and compared to Roger Zelazny's best work, Abbott's Songs of the Osirian series of works brings a bold re-telling of Ancient Egyptian mythology. Abbott presents a fresh view of deities we know, such as Horus, Osiris, and Anubis. He weaves the godlike magic through musical poetry, giving these wonderfully tragic and deeply flawed "gods" different perspective, all the while increasing their mysteriousness.

His Sherlock Holmes stories, published in the Watson Chronicles Series, have been recognised by readers and peers alike as faithfully authentic to the original Conan Doyle. In 2022, after publishing seven individual Watson Chronicle stories, Christopher teamed up with prolific authors Michael Jan Friedman and Aaron Rosenberg to add a collection of Holmes short stories to the series.

Christopher has published with Crazy8Press and written for major media outlets, including ScreenRant.

Entertaining mystery listening 🎶🔰

Another will written British 🏰 murder mystery family relationships adventure thriller novel by Christopher Abbot (The Watson Chronicles book 4). Sherlock and Watson are once again asked to investigate the strange disappearance of a number of people. This leads them to the trail 👣 of why, how and who did the awful crime. Then it becomes clear to Sherlock but there is no proof. I would highly recommend this novel, series, and author too fans of Sherlock Holmes and readers of mysteries. Enjoy the adventure of reading or listening to Alexa read books 📚. 2022 😤😂

Typical Sherlock Mystery

Great Holmes story with a very intriguing ending. I am always delighted with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He was a remarkable story teller.

Great read

The fourth in an excellent Sherlock Holmes series that just keeps getting better with each volume. I have read a number of these Sherlock Holmes “stories” and these are among the better ones.

I’ve enjoyed the books in this series. Great plot, great dialog, and great at setting the scene. All the familiar characters are here and play terrific parts. Try to read the series in order though as a character or two makes their introduction and then may appear in a book or two later on. Recommended!

Just one book in and this author heads straight to the list of my favourite Holmesian pasticheurs.

This story was superb - the case was pleasantly convoluted, but not too much for the reader to get lost along the way; the atmosphere of the bygone London was neatly invoked; Holmes and Watson and even Lestrade behaved in character (as much as that could be stated) and the friendship between them was tangible and smile-inducing. (I also have a soft spot for authors who portray Watson as quite competent and able to hold his own against Holmes' intellect...)

Satisfaction of the utmost level.
