I am a playwright and small business owner from New Jersey. After working as a script coordinator for a TV procedural, I was encouraged to start writing my own mysteries and discovered that I love cozies.
I have degrees in Theatre and Psychology, and an MFA in "Writing for the Screen + Stage." For hobbies I enjoy reading, playing board games, performing in children's theater, and frolicking with my rescue puppy Phoebe.
A wonderful addition to a delightful series! The storyline is refreshingly different and the mystery well plotted. I particularly like how the author has added depth to the characters in each successive book. In this book a character who has always been affable and laidback showed an angry side and a bit of a temper. Can't wait for another installment.
Penelope and Isla are still trying to outshine each other in a bid to take charge of the event planning company they work for. But when the company chefs boyfriend is accused of murder Isla helps out on the party Penelope is in charge of so she and the chef, Sam, can focus on trying to find the real killer.
Penelope is preparing for a birthday party but her friend is accused of murder so she gets sideline. Once again she will put on her sleuthing hat to prove her friend innocence.
Another fun short cozy read that will hit the spot.
I really liked this one. I didn't have an idea as to who the killer was this time. The also was one thing left unanswered that hopefully will be resolved in the next book.
Another delicious parfait & another murder for Penelope & Sam to solve. Well written with great characters and setting. I look forward to reading more.
Penelope and Sam really pick up the pace to solve this murder, and her Stuart released from jail. Penelope has a way of looking at clues that nobody else picks up on. I do recommend this book.
