I really enjoyed Dax and Fawn's story. She was really sweet and naïve because of her upbringing; he is a big, older, biker mechanic. She kind of falls in his lap when she runs out of gas and it is instant chemistry. You know he is in an MC and they end of being involved in the drama, but the biker thing is not really a huge part of the story. The little that is there was good, but I did scratch my head a bit at the prospect that was thrown in. He assumed she is open prey because she is not claimed but they were in a public place - that makes no sense. I mean can he just go to wal-mart and expect to caveman a woman? I could see it if she were in their clubhouse, but not in public. It is short and sweet with a little drama and some heat. I hope there is a second one coming. Dax is about to close up shop for the night when he notices a car with a woman behind the wheel out front. He gets the feeling she needs more than mechanical assistance but what kind of danger is she in? Fawn is on the run from a religious cult that tried to force her into marriage. She's innocent and wary. Can this gruff stranger protect her? This is the first story in the Hell's Apostles MC. I like it! Dax is a rough one, he struggles to be a gentleman but he and his brothers are protective of women in danger. Short, insta-attraction, older man/younger woman, good plot, some danger, violence and club culture. Exciting and entertaining start to a new series!

This is the first book in Phoebe’s new steamy MC series and I’m totally here for it. I really liked the characters so I can’t wait to see who she writes about next. Dax is the MC member that this book is about. One night outside his motorcycle shop, he meets Fawn, a younger woman running from a cult. He’s a protector but also a gentleman. As attracted to Fawn as he is, Dax is determined to get her safe and settled before he entertains the thought of making her his. There is some suspense in this story when dealing with the cult. You will enjoy Dax and Fawn’s story and be ready for more!

A riveting book one in the Hell’s Apostles Motorcycle Club series! It is a well written, emotionally deep, witty, funny, engaging, steamy, and passionate page-turner with drama, action, and more. The characters are likeable, and you will root for them; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

Dax finds Fawn sitting in her run down car. Fawn shares her story of abuse and an intent by the cult's leader to marry her off.

Dax is beyond furious when he listens to Fawn's story. They are drawn to each other despite the age difference. Dax and his MC brothers come together to put a stop to the evil cult people.

Fawn is running from the cult that she grew up in. She never expected to break down in front of gorgeous biker Dax’s garage! Dax is working when he sees beautiful Fawn and knows that he will do whatever it takes to protect her and make her his! Great book that I would highly recommend!

First time reading anything by this author and overall I enjoyed it. It was a point of difference with having the cult and MC involved. DAX was sweetness even though protective of his MC he wants Fawn as much. A hot ending rounds it out.

had potential

This was okay, but it could have been better. Really short and sweet, it took me less than an hour to read through the whole thing pretty much. It had a great story line and could have been so much better but it was just too short so everything felt rushed and there wasn’t any build up to the action or the relationship. I give it 2.5 stars.

This was so Hot!! You can’t help but feel for Fawn and her fight to get free. Good thing she lands right in front of Dax’s shop. Dax and Fawn are truly perfect for each other. Don’t miss miss this!

A good quick read

I enjoyed this quick read. Fawn runs away from her cult-like upbringing and ends up at Dax's motorbike garage. He immediately wants to protect her. That's good as she will need protection from what's coming.

Dangerous Sweet

I absolutely loved this short story! It had a very different backstory for the innocent girl in need of an alpha,a bad good guy. Yum!!
