This is a well written book with strong characters with a hot chemistry. The author does a great job developing the story and pulled me in with the suspense. Her scenes are painted perfectly and the story flows fluidly. It's an entertaining romance and I enjoyed reading.

MY SECRET LOVE AFFAIR (The Bancroft Billionaire Brothers) by Ali Parker
This is a continuation of the Bancroft Brothers and this is the 5th book in the series. After a hot and heavy 3 week affair, Channing walked out on Madi and never got back in touch with her. Five years later they run into each other in Bali, and they find they still have sparks, chemistry and attraction between the two of them. He is avoiding going home as he doesn’t want to be part of his family’s business, and Madi is on the run from a bad breakup and has her own secret. I will let you read to figure out the rest! This is a very well written story with great characters. I give this 5 stars.

Another fantastic story from Ali Parker! Loved the chemistry between Madeline and Channing, the first time around for them and when they find themselves together again years around. I couldn't wait to see how things would play out for them, especially when he learned of Madeline's big secret, whether he would embrace the big change and accept a most important role in his life.

Great book. Loved the characters and the story line.
Channing, second last of 6 boys. Ran from his home and family to save himself. He was just not finding his way back in New York. He is in Bali and is loving his life. Nothing could change that. Or can something or should I say someone.
Madi, single mother, high school teacher, just ended a bad relationship, just getting away for a week. What could go wrong with that? She heads off to Bali.
This is where things get interesting. She meets up with Channing who she hasn't seen in 5 years. He is still as gorgeous as always, making even more.
Channing remembers Madi and also remembers how he just left her, not getting in touch. He always felt bad about that.
You have to read this book to find out what happens. Why was Madi running from a bad relationship. What will Channing do with this second chance?
You will not be disappointed with this book.

An excellent secret baby/second chance romance
Madeleine, a high school history teacher, runs into Channing, the other free spirited Bancroft brother and father to her four-year-old daughter, on a beach in Bali. As the story progresses they have a vacation fling, he wants more and chases her back to New York, and just when she thinks the past is smoothed over it rears its ugly head to create havoc between them. Ali Parker’s My Secret Love Affair is an excellent secret baby/second chance romance. I couldn’t help falling in love with Channing and the rest of the Bancroft clan again and look forward to reading as James finds his perfect match.

Whew... I can't put the book down. I like how the twists and turns of the events. Maddi and Channing accidental meeting in Bali, George, Maddi's ex-boyfriend going ballistic. I can feel Maddi's emotion when the judge just dismissed the case of stalking and harassment. Finally, she came to trust Channing and let him tell Clara, their little girl, the truth that he is her real father but I was surprised with Clara's non exciting reaction though she asked if she can call him dad. I'm happy at the ending that aside from an addition to their new family, they will be living in New York and summer in Bali and they are getting married!

Of all the Bancroft books I've read so far, I'm sad to say the chemistry between Channing and Madi is the mildest one. True to his character, Channing is more laid back than the other brothers. With that being said, he was a little too subdued once he found out Clara was his daughter. Yes, I appreciate that he understands that he walked away and didn't leave Madi with a way of getting in touch him. However, she's parading their daughter under his nose but didn't say anything, and wasn't going to say anything. I did love Channing in protector mode when Madi was threatened. My favorite character in this book was Mamma Bancroft though - all knowing and all seeing! LOL

This was another fantastically well written story in the Bancroft Brother series by Ali Parker. I fell in love with Madi and Channing story. My Secret Love Affair is a captivating and heartwarming story about second chances, strong family bonds, and love. This is one book that will have readers feeling all the feels and in true Ali Parker fashion with a hint of danger mixed in. A great novel readers will fall in love with. I can’t wait for the next release in the series.

2nd chance
Although in previous books, we have read about Channing, he had been kinda mysterious, well now we get to meet him and the mother of his daughter, that he finds out about after a chance meeting with her in Bali, whete Channing lives.
Madeline and Channing had a 3 week "relationship" 5 years ago when he "disappeared ". She never tokd him, but when he come back to New York the cat comes out...just not completely. Enjoy a rollercoaster ride as these two find their footing and become a family...

This book was about Channing the missing brother. He does some photography but rarely communicates with his family members. He is living on Bali very minimally considering his wealth. A prior girlfriend named Madeleine arrives at the resort area of Bali with her girlfriend for vacation. A chance meeting renews their attraction. She has a real big surprise that she's very hesitant to divulge. Another great book in this series. Love them all.

Channing and Madeline... I truly truly was pissed when I found out he cut out on her. I don't blame her for being upset and not trusting him I wouldn't want to trust him either after he dipped and is acting like he's going to stay a Beach Bum the rest of his life; especially if he's approaching 30 he's got the money and the finances to do whatever he wants which means he can drop me like a bad habit; so yeah I don't blame Maddie for not wanting to involve that in her life with Clara. I am seriously glad he decided to be the responsible man he ultimately needed to be instead of always running.

What a great second chance romance! Madeline and Channing have some definite chemistry. I liked the way domestic abuse was talked about in the story. Many women who read romance books are touched by this and hopefully will help get the word out to women.

Brilliant
Another brilliant book by Ali.
Loved the storyline and connection between Channing and Madi. A lovely heartwarming story.
Loved how they found each other again and reunited. Clara was absolutely adorable. Loved her grown up ways and sassiness.
It was lovely to read about Nana Bancroft and the Brothers again.

This isn’t a short book so that was a plus. Some you can read in 2 hours and it’s just not enough. This was a great love story. Lots of turns and unexpected ups and downs.

Good book
I enjoyed this book although I felt it was a bit rushed. There were instances when the mother and daughter names were mixed up. It needed better proofreading but otherwise it was a great story.

I enjoyed it but found major things that bugged me. Her kid - obnoxious kid. Her, honestly, felt like reaching through screen and smacking her silly at times. Him, a nice guy who says dumb things. Thus the 3 stars.
