Three men. One child. And a family that was fated to be theirs.
Artemus
After everything that had happened, all I wanted to do was grab my boys and lock ourselves away somewhere far away from all the danger.
But Damien had a realm to run, and as much as I wanted to, I couldn't put my very capable men, my only family, in a bubble.
When we discover someone from Reece's past in Otherworld, though, I'd do anything to protect him.
I'd never realized how precious family was.
Reece
When we moved to Otherworld, I never expected my past would follow me across realms.
Unlike the last time, though, I wasn't alone. I had two men who loved me more than life itself.
I knew they'd support me, and so would the people of Otherworld I called friends. When I had so many people on my side, how could I ever let the past drag me back?
I'd never realized how empowering family was.
Damien
After working as King of Otherworld for over two centuries, I thought I'd all there was to see of this world.
Everything changed when one of my chiefs informed me that a five-year-old child had opted to become a soul-collector.
My life with Reece and Artemus had just settled down, and in all my daydreams and wishes, I'd never expected to become a father to a child with my two men.
I'd never realized how necessary family was.
Master's Design is a 40k words low-angst MMM paranormal romance starring a cinnamon-bun devil, a gentle-giant who WILL win the dad-of-the-year award, a slightly frustrated Master, a five-year-old boy in need of some gentle love, a hedgehog named Spike, and the talking snake Ro'Shassz.
Master's Design is the third and final book in the Fate's Gambit series and ends in a well-deserved HEA. The series follows the same characters and must be read in order.

The conclusion of the Fate's Gambit series. It’s full of beautiful, sweet, snarky, lovable, supportive, protective creatures.
Their bond is completed. They can feel and communicate through it. Their dynamic works perfectly. Then a little boy arrives in the Otherworld and doesn’t want to leave. With their special gifts, they can scan his life, and oh boy the hurt, it’s devastating. All three will love and take care of him and eliminate the ones who did him wrong.
Awesome story, all the feels, a little bit angst, and a whole lot of love. It was a story full of the most beautiful fantasy, with a hea and.... oh boy there’s more coming, not in this series, but there’s more!
Cute finale to the series. Reece gets much needed closure on his past. He and Arty find their places in Otherworld and Day settles into where he fits with both. Fate pushes them along, giving them found family and acceptance
The plot The throuple has beaten the evils souls of the Chasm and can now all live happily in the Otherworld. However a child soul decided he doesn’t want to go the the Shangri la of the Afterworld, and instead wants to stay and become a soul catcher. The throuple is perplexed. But feel special bond with the kid and decide to adopt him. Meanwhile Reese’s a&&hole ex shows up to torment Reese.
Spoilers below.
What I liked: The throuple characters are likable. It’s a fluffy piece of work even though it deals with some triggering matter (child rape/torture). Even the heavy parts were light..if you know what I mean. The author didn’t go into graphic detail.
What I disliked: There really was no plot. It felt like one big epilogue to book 2. Yes, there was the snafu of the kid not wanting to go the Afterworld and Reese’s ex showing up. But these were dealt with swiftly. It really was a story about the throuple raising their newly adopted son. Which isn’t bad. Just not what I expected. And honestly a bit boring. Parts were pretty silly too, like the cover story the throuple come up with to explain their absence from earth. All in all though it was a light enjoyable read. There were a bunch of typos, but none so terrible to decrease the rating.
Master's Design is the third book in the Fate Gambit trilogy by Stella Rainbow. This book is the end of Reece, Artemus and Damien's story and the series should be read in order. I really liked the story of Reece, Artemus and Damien. Their story was sweet, full of feels and well written.
I couldn’t finish this book. Low angst doesn’t have to mean easy solutions. The book started to read like a hallmark Christmas movie. Maybe I just don’t have a big enough sweet tooth for this book.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved that It has all the sweetness that I expect from one of Stella Rainbow’s stories. Artemus and Reece have decided to stay in Otherworld with Day but they were all worried if it was allow since they’re still technically human. They got visited by Tharion the King of Afterworld and his sibling Fate who granted them both immortality and that they can now travel between the realms just like Day. They’re settling into their new life in Otherworld when Fate throws them a curve ball they weren’t expecting but actually makes their family complete. Walker decided to stay in Otherworld as he never wants to go back to the human world after everything he’s endured in his short 5 years of life, more than anyone should ever have to go through. I’m glad that Day with the help from Caelan and Maximus made sure that all of Walker’s abusers, including his parents when they died end up in the burning chasm. I loved seeing Artemus and Reece slowly earn Walker’s trust, as he accepted Day pretty quickly but it was probably because he doesn’t look human since his abusers were vampires and other captive humans who were lost in the bl*od lust.
Ro’Shassz was a great friend and protector of Walker straight away and he’s not far from Walker throughout the book. I found it funny how Caelan will most likely forever be known as Kitty by Walker and that Walker was just the person that Ro’Shassz and Caelan needed to mend their on going feud. After Fate’s visit I’m really intrigued about how special Walker will end up being. I’m glad that Caelan decides to leave Otherworld for a decade or so and just periodically visit after Fate told him that Walker and him are mates, as it gives Walker a chance to have a fun happy childhood like he should’ve already had and gives Day, Artemus and Reece peace of mind that Caelan isn’t preying on their son, he never wants Walker to think of him like those that abused him, that he was just biding his time until Walker’s older or that he had ulterior motives by getting close to him and becoming his friend. Man, Victor definitely got what was coming to him, especially after what he said to Reece about the only reason he adopted Walker and using Walker t*rture and abuse against him. I’m looking forward to reading the Lords of Otherworld Series starting with Maximus, as the Lords eventually find their mates and become part of Day, Artemus, Reece and Walker’s family. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.
While I was sad to see the story of these three wonderful men end, I was beyond happy with the way their story wrapped up. It was the perfect end of this trilogy.
Damien, Reece and Arty have settled into their relationship, and everyone seems to know right where they belong. Things are starting to settle down for them. Captured witches are still captured, and Reece and Arty make the choice to stay in Otherworld with Day. The guys finally feel like they can breathe, when Fate hits them with another surprise.
Walker was not someone any of them ever planned on, or even imagined in their life, but he was certainly one more piece they were all missing. My heart melted at the interactions between him and Day, and also the way Reece and Arty won him over, with their tenderness and love. I loved the twist at the end with Walker and a certain “kitty”, and possible spin off in the future – fingers crossed. And, that Reece’s ex got exactly what was coming to him.
Arty, Reese, and Damien have been through a lot together. They are all very much in love and their interactions are full of sugar and spice. But now they are all living together in the Otherworld and sharing magic as well as responsibilities. Fate hints at one more very important one however and it blows them away when it presents itself. I loved this conclusion to the Fate’s Gambit trilogy. This seems to be setting something even bigger up with the way this trio gets their HEA and it will be cool to see where all of these characters end up. I will definitely have to read it because I have enjoyed all of this author’s books so far and I don’t see them letting me down anytime soon!
The last of Fate's Gambit series, I found this one to be the best. Damien, Reece and Arty adopt a five year old who wants to become a soul collector. And rather than upsetting their newly settled triad, Walker's addition makes it even better. None of the three ever expected to be parents. But giving Walker all the joy and love he missed out on in life becomes their new mission. Stella Rainbow has used the theme of found family in other books. She always does it very well. Master's Design is a well crafted, fun read. And with her new series, we'll be able to follow along with this new family.
Starting the final book in this series was a little bittersweet, because I completely fell in love with them all! Each man brings something different to the table and they are so endearing! I was already completely captivated by the whole series, and then I was given Walker. And my heart melted and I teared up and it was lovely and amazing. The side characters are just as great and I soaked up every word of these books! #MakeSpikeImmortal 🙃
Master's Design concludes the story of Reece, Arty, and Day; the story of two humans and a devil, and was a very well-written paranormal romance. The characters were interesting and well developed, loved Ra and Spike. The addition of Walker made this final book more emotional than the previous ones. The book was a good read and a really good conclusion to the series.
What a final Reece, Arty and Day settle in Otherworld, after the break out at the Burning Chasm. Faye has a surprise for them all, which the all accepted with open arms. But there has to be another in the series, to tell the take of Caelan !! These books must be read in order to understand the story
What a great ending to this series! Although, hopefully we will see spin off's that focus on some of the other characters in this series.
This book wonderfully wrapped up the story of Damien, Arty, and Reece. I truly loved how the guys got their happily ever after. Including some things I never saw coming, like the addition of Walker. Please let there be more coming soon!
I read it all in one go and the only criticism I have is that it was to short I wanted it to last like forever.I really loved the guys, and Walker was just like the best sweetest thing to happen. I am sad and happy, sad this is the last in this series, but happy as they is going to be a spin off coming really soon. Can't recommend this book series enough.
This was a great ending to the series. Damien, Reece and Arty are now settling into their relationship. But fate seems to have another plan for them! Overall, fantastic series with hopefully a spin off! I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.
Ah... the last book. The other two, in my opinion, is shit. But then again, opinions are different from one another. The writing's kinda meh, but hecc, they didn't mention anything about BDSM in the first books, so imagine my surprise when that's what I got. The only reason I'm giving this three stars is that there's a kid here, and I like that trope.

Absolutely loved thus whole series and cant wait to read the rest of the trilogy for ‘otherworld’ to find out what happened before this series and after! I def recommend this series and cant wait to read more from Stella Rainbow. Thank you for this amazing world you created i cant wait to find out what ive missed and what comes next!!
Arty, Damien and Reece are finally all living together in underworld!!! The a bit of drama in this one but the book centers around they're growing relationship and a new member of they're family... I can't wait to read about Caelan and his mate!!! That is the one I'll now be hanging for!!!
This was a great conclusion to this trilogy. It followed the first two books meaning it’s honestly a lot of sweetness for being about the Devil and his mates. It also set up the tone for future series.
Wow! What an incredible journey Damien, Arty, and Reece have been on. They are so sweet, hot, and fiercely protective of everyone they love. A perfect ending to their story.
Fun, sexy and very entertaining MMM. Definitely one of the most unique twists on the Devil that I have read. 3 books in the series and they should all definitely be read in order, at the same time to get the full story and the final HEA :-)
A brilliant set of books about the king of the other world and two humans who fall in love and how that changes everything they knew. Excellent series highly recommended
The mating bond tattoo was a cute idea. I w!as surprised to see Victor, but glad to see that he got a fitting end. Glad to meet Walker, and to see the progress he made. Looking forward to the next series!
This was a satisfying ending to the series with loose ends being wrapped up while leaving the door open for the new series including characters introduced in these books
