Never Alone is a 4-week study on the topic of Depression. Feelings of worthlessness, hopelessness or unidentifiable sadness can leave us searching for help and hope. But the Scriptures uncover lovely truths about who Jesus is to us in the midst of our battles.
Through the course of this study, we will walk through the lives of faithful saints who wrestled with depression. In doing so, we will be assuredly reminded that regardless of what this life brings our way, the people of God will never walk alone.

I led this study with a group of teens. Although the reading was a bit long for that age group, the content was still great. The point of the study is that EVERYONE experiences depression. The Bible is full of examples of God's people suffering with it, wrestling with it, fighting against it and trusting God all the way through it. If you or someone you know is suffering a period of depression, I highly recommend this study to help you walk through it in a way that honors God and also shows you where to go in Scripture for guidance.
This was read in a season of circumstantial struggle, not a clinical depression, so the review comes from a that place.
I found the compassion and perspective given through the Bible passages and writing to give me a renewed appreciation for the complexity of being human. Some of my emotional weight was tied to wrong expectations that God stripped away through this study.
This was beyond helpful. I would recommend it to anyone who has struggled, is struggling, or knows anyone who struggles with depression. It gives you an understanding of how deep depression can be and how lonely it feels. It is encouraging.
Absolutely love this study. I did this study with a youth I have coming to my church because she was interested in it, and we definitely learned together.
