This would've bene great if the maps weren't dated to 1985. Too much has changed, but it is still valuable to see what kind of data would be great if updated.

i'm a big fan of the series - it's a visual guide to the world's statistics from distribution of food, arms, and money. but the problem is we always have to get the new one every year.

something like this on a current scale could perhaps be cobbled together across the internet; i've yet to hear of such an endeavor, but it would be well worth finding out about.
