An excellent textbook, with digestible chapters (always a primary concern for me). It made class pretty easy to keep up with. Well-organized, well-written, and I was satisfied overall.

As a text book, this is very engaging and insightful. It has more charts and data than would be expected and makes a point to highlight important terms and provide both a glossary and index.

Great textbook, full of great information even if you're not a psychology major. This is a textbook I'll be keeping for a long time.

Well written, and this has more charts and datas than I expected. Not so hard to read even when I'm not majoring psychology.

Ok, not the normal Peace Corps read, but I took an online class to prepare for grad school applications. Wow undergrad classes are so much easier when you read the text books haha. Oh well, onward and upward. And for a text book this was a pretty good one. Well organized and well written. The fictional examples of people with certain disorders kind of made me roll my eyes, but it was nicely organized and easy to follow, which I appreciate. We'll see how my developmental textbook compares for my summer course.

I loved this book. It was neatly laid out and well structured. I love when textbooks break up the text with color pictures and charts. Not only does it help me understand the topic, but the aesthetic makes it so much easier to read.

This book was definitely easy to read. It was well written and provided enough information to get a working knowledge of mental disorders. I also really like how the book explained the new changes in the DSM5.

Great psychology textbook, some chapters are a little dry ... even for a psych minor... But I love the fact that it shows the updates along with the history of diagnoses for certain disorders.

Extremely dry and wordy, probably the result of most assignments in higher ed valuing quantity over quality. There are much better resources for psychology textbooks than this one.
