Great series to read. It seems as though Sarah is finally beginning to see Bruce for what he is. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Alright this one was…a mental warfare

On the one hand we have moments when Bruce is being a good husband
He’s showering her with love
He’s not drinking
He’s gentle
Attentive
And then I can reason with Sarah for why she stays with him because she loves THAT version of him

A lot of the book things are going pretty well
He has his occasional moments when he goes psycho but that’s just what they are, moments
Things goes back to normal as if it never happened
Things with tje family are even getting better
A Lot of changes in Sarah’s family and she’s missing it all
But then…
Then the drinking starts again
And they drink so much his drinking his turning her into an alcoholic basically
It’s so sad to see her destroying herself for HIM
Then those bad moments start to become more frequent by the end of the book…
Then the story starts to live up to the title
Of love and abuse
So I know that the next one is not gonna go well
Sarah’s in too deep, she’s in his clutches and I don’t know if she can fight to get out

I don't think this series could get any more interesting but I was totally wrong. This book is wonderful! It continues the story of young naive Sarah and her relationship with an older man named Bruce that she met online and how their relationship progressed since they met in person. I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes a good book that is hard to put down!

As poor Sarah takes another step down the ladder to hell, I wonder if she will ever be able to shake herself free of the hold over her by Bruce. I congratulate the author for so clearly exposing the destructive methods used by the Narcissistic predator to control his victim.
