i totally read this btw i didn't just watch someone flip thru it anyway eugene/yeonjun being so close with viken/beomgyu thru the whole book is SO cute 😭 i love 🥺🥰 gay 🌈👬 PEOPLE ‼️

honestly i dont know if i should rate it for it's art or for it's story. i don't want the fact that i love txt and have been a fan for over two years to warp my opinion on this book.
the art is absolutely beautiful. some of the pop-ups had my jaw drop in amazement. it was crafted so beautifully. this is the first pop-up book i've ever owned and it may lead into a dangerous territory for me bases on how much i love this one.
the story is very *very* short which i wouldn't have minded if it was more... complete? it is left on a literal cliff-hanger at the end. the story being so short it's really hard for me to judge. it is written sorta like a fairytale which i love. nap of a star is my favorite txt song so im very glad to see a whole book on it.
with the knowledge i do know from the star seekers universe i was left disappointed by the fact that the star was barely shown. also the title of "magic island" and it having such a different story to the "magic island" music video leaves me much more confused.
so again for the art itself it is wonderful and makes it an easy 5/5 the story itself, even as its presented like a childern's tale, is left more to be desired. but with the case, the photocards, and stickers, it was a worthy purchase to have somethinh so beautiful on my shelf.
