My name is Lottie Lemon, and I see dead people. Okay, so I rarely see dead people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly departed variety, who have come back from the other side to warn me of their previous owner’s impending doom. Fall is in the air and so is murder. A billionaire and his wife enroll their children in Honey Hollow High, and all of Vermont suddenly wants a seat at our coveted school. But when a killer shows up at the high school football game, it wipes the patina right off our institute of higher learning. In addition to that, a woman accuses Everett of being a brute and lands him in a hornet’s nest of trouble both in and out of the courtroom. Not to mention, it looks as if Cormack is finally going to sink her hooks into Noah, once and for all. This entire month is panning out to be a disaster, and I’ll do anything to fix it—and I do.

Lottie finds herself and her apple fritter desert in the middle of another homicide. Add in the fact that she has Noah agreeing to have a fake wedding with Cormack in order to get her mother her B&B back and you have quite a few too many things going on. I didn't understand why Lottie felt she needed to put Noah through any on that - it was her mother benefiting from it. Also, the whole Cormack storyline has gotten really old and I am ready to see it in the rearview mirror. The Manny situation is really not even needed and yet it keeps getting dredged back up. The murder seemed to be an afterthought again in this book.
I really like the story line, but I am really getting tired of the Noah/Everett back and forth. I’m starting to really dislike Lottie for the way she strings both of these men along.
I feel sorry for Noah he didn’t get near the time with Lottie that Everett has. He has a child with her but barely gets to be together as a family unit because Everett is always there!! Then Lottie says how generous Everett is!! Only as long as he gets her back is he genuinely generous! Sure he came up with the fake wedding which I suspected would be real because gee it happened before no surprise there! Then at Noah’s again fake bachelor party they all indulge in food to leave Noah stuck with the bill!! How horrible of Lottie and her family! Noah is a hardworking detective! He isn’t rich like Everett and he pays his fair share for Lyla but everyone laughs and over indulges? I think Cormack is up to no good with their supposedly fake marriage too. I don’t think anyone should trust her. Then of course I was right another not fake wedding! Seriously?? Why didn’t Cormack pay for the bachelorette bachelor party? She set it up! Noah didn’t even want it!! She’s rich!! So not fair to Noah. Lottie laughs and thinks it’s ok to do this to Noah! He was doing it for her mother to get her b&b back she’s not being fair or kind to the father of her child!! Disgusting!!
Apple Fritter Fright was such a wonderful book (Number 37) in the Murder in the Mix series by Addison Moore. This book is definitely a stand alone story and you do not need to read the rest of the stories but they are all equally wonderful!
It was so great being back in Honey Hollow for the fall. Lottie Lemon is one of my favorite characters, and her seeing dead people is such a fun aspect to her character!
She is whipping up Apple Fritters and more yummy treats for the High School Football game. There is a murder at the game and Lottie is investigating. There is no shortage of suspects or fun!
There is more than one mystery in this story and the author does such a good job at seamlessly integrating the different mysteries . There are some twists and turns that I enjoyed.
The characters are charming and exiting. I really loved this story and it kept me guessing all the way to the end!
Apple Fritter Fright the thirty-seventh book in the Murder in the Mix Mystery series. This series stories builds on each other so I would suggest reading them in order to get the most out of it, but you could always read them as a stand alone if you wanted to and not be to lost. Lemon has a gift of seeing dead animal of those who will experience back luck soon, but lately deadly luck. Like all the books in this series, when Lottie sees a ghostly animal she knows death is soon to follow. First home game of the season and there is so much going on, a dead body, an abandoned baby in the women’s bath room and Everett being verbal attacked by woman of his past that he has no memory of. This book definitely keeps you working to solve out all the mysteries. While watching the planning of Cormack and Noah’s faux wedding.
It’s fall in Honey Hollow and Lottie’s baking up Apple Fritters and other fall pastries for the fans at the HH High football game. There’s a murder at the game and Lottie’s planning on sleuthing and solving it. There’s lots of suspects. There are other sub-plots going on at the same time, an abandoned baby, an upcoming wedding, a mob boss, and maybe another murder? Love these cozy paranormal mysteries. The storyline is engaging and as you read, you're trying to solve the crime along with Lottie. I'm always impressed that this author's books keep me guessing till the end...

This is was another fun book in this series. The author will hook you with this story. I enjoy most of the characters in this book. Lottie will help with another murder mystery. She is happy with her arrangement with Everett and Noah. Noah is still going through the arrangement that will get Lottie her mother's B& B back. There are some fun twists and turns in this story. I am honestly saying again, I so wish she would just choose Noah, he seems like such a better fit for her.
I really enjoyed my time in Honey Hollow, am looking forward to the next book. There is something for everyone in this series. Recommend reading this book/ series.
I have to say that this book is just another awesome stand-alone in the series that I enjoyed just as much as I did the rest of them.
In this one Lotties is making Apple fritters for the Honey Hollow High Football game. During the game, there is a murder and of course, Lottie and the gang are on the job to find out who did the killing. Of course, Addison added a lot extra into the book to make it so much more enjoyable than it would have been. That is what I love about Addison and her books. They are always full of twists and turns that you never see coming and keep you guessing till the end.

Fall is here in Honey Hollow, where the weather is changing, high school football is now Friday nights are spent, and a mystery or two including murder. Lottie sets out to catch a killer once more with her gift of seeing the dead and the aid of her friends and family. Book 37 was such a fun read with its twists and turns and the fact we aren’t faced with just one mystery. As always Addison finds a way to pull the reader in and keep them locked and engaged to the very end! This is a stand alone but I always have to add go back read them all it makes them all fall into place and let you bond with the characters, trust me it’s worth it!
Fall is the best time of year. Leaves are changing, cozy sweaters, hot apple cider, life is born, life is taken. Wait, what??? If you're Lottie Lemon you don't bat an eye about an entry like that. You kick your baking into high gear and pull out your sleuthing detective skills. Lottie teams up with Everett, Noah, her crazy family, and one Foxy Roxy to track down a murderer. All the while feeding Honey Hollow with plenty of Apple Fritters. Enjoy this great story from the Murder in the Mix series!
Lottie has a murder and other mysteryiescto solve. I like the mystery parts of the book. The ghost pet is sweet, and I like Lyla Nell grabbing for the ghost. Everett and Noah act like teenagers, at times. Noah needs to forget his past with Everett. He keeps blaming almost everything in Everett. Everett also needs to let go, and stop overreacting to Evie 's dating. I saw the one twist at the end coming. I did not expect to see the strange man who came into their lives.
Gee, I sure hope the guy they were trying to fool with the last fake wedding doesn't hear about this one! *shocked Pikachu face*
And how did Carlotta (the eldest) become a senior citizen? She had the *not quite 30* Lottie at age 16, right? That puts her at mid to late 40's. Math is hard, y'all.
Other than those issues, the book is better than the last few. Still only getting 3 stars, since Noah is still so delusional about Lottie and she hasn't kicked him completely to the curb yet. It's getting real old.
Ok she had two men in love with her, married one, had the others baby. Her mother abandoned her as an infant, comes back into town and still is not nice to her but yet Lottie gives her birth mother a place to live etc. I got fed up with the way Lottie was supposed to be so smart at catching murderers but let people walk all over her Had to find new cozy mysteries with a stronger star.
It's Fall in Honey Hallow. That means, football, fundraisers and true to Honey Hallow fashion....MURDER. Lucky for them Lottie Lemon doesn't miss an opportunity to seek out justice for the victim. There is so much more than a murder mystery going on in this book and it is sure to keep you entertained. I have read all 37 books in this series and I'm always ready for the next one to come out!
This was quite entertaining, with a mobster who is really thinking how to make people's lives difficult just to get a woman who doesn't want him. Then of course a murder another fraudulent wedding that backfires. Didn't want to stop rrading.
I can't get enough of this series. The author always makes each story fun, exciting, and engaging from beginning to end. This one is no different. I loved every second of my visit with Lottie and the residents of Honey Hollow. I look forward to reading what comes next. Well done to the author.
Back into Lottie's world we go, she has a new mystery/murder to solve. Going into fall and school season can be a crazy time, but murder at a high school football game was not one she planned for. Another fun mystery in this series.
I have read all the books in the series and have enjoyed them all. There are always slot of twist and turns. It is hard to figure out who did what because there is so much going on. I am ready for the next book.
A laugh a minute except for the dead and guilty. A mystery wrapped up in a comedy. More like a series of unfortunate events. A new baby, A new murder and even newer accusations. Noah gets married to Cormack. And the events keep swirling. Read to find out all the news.
Who killed Aster Lockhart and why??? A vendetta??? At times I am reading and think it is Lottie speaking and it isn’t!!! I enjoyed this story and recommend the book.
As usual, there are multiple mysteries in this book, and two murders. The long stories continue as well. There is more of a focus on Evie and the high school.
Apple Fritter Fright is here! Amazon-> https://bit.ly/AppleFritterFright It’s fall in Honey Hollow! Delicious treats will be doled out and so will murder. *Each book in the series can be read individually, so dive on in! Humor with a side of homicide! #Cozymystery #Kindleunlimited #mystery
