The story was very good, and I really enjoyed it. There are a lot of characters, but every second person is a psycho who wants to torture and kill people, and I'm very surprised that our main person is still alive. It is a fast-paced action-packed read.

Psychopaths
Simply too many psychopaths in the story. I hate people as much as the next guy but it’s just ridiculous that 80% of the people in the story are crazy. It’s a decent book but too far fetched, even more so then zombies of course.

Okay book worth reading Book 2
I love zombie books and this had some good charachters even if most were predictable. There was a lot of duplication from one characters perspective to the next. Even within chapters I felt quite often like....okay you just told me that. Also the conversations between characters often seems robotic. "I will rather than I'll, things of that nature. However, I am invested so it's on to the next book....I wish more writers would use beta readers to capture typos and composition of sentences.

I still can't quite believe that I have got into this genre and how much I enjoy it. Never thought horror and zombies would be my thing.
This was a good story that had me hooked. The characters were interesting and it has plenty of action. I liked the way it was written, back and forth between different characters perspective.
There are lots of zombies, some weird psychos, and the group has to overcome plenty of treachery as they fight for their survival.
In short I loved it and if you like this genre then get yourself a copy. It's the first in a series so I shall be looking out for book 2.

Multiple Viewpoints from Many Characters
Zombies bring a horrifying end to civilization. Multiple characters some with noble intentions others psychotic monsters survive and head from densely populated areas to start over. Sadly, rather than help others the psychos use this as cover to commit horrific acts. Those with noble intent band together to help one another. A great series starter.

Very realistic
I was drawn to the characters ,well, most of them. This book is sometimes scary, sometimes revolting, and at times disgusting. There are characters you root for and want to see them safe. Then there are the characters you want to pay for the things they did. I am looking forward to the next book in the series!

What a wild ride through the apocalypse
This book sucks you in from page one and never let's go. Good luck putting it down once you start. I'd highly recommend this one for the zombie apocalypse lover because it's got the perfect amount of zombies, action and intriguing characters.

Enjoyed
I enjoyed reading this book. It was written a little differently than most books, going back and forth between different characters perspective. A few typos here and there but not enough to distract from the story. I will definitely read book 2!

This is a very exciting story. It has great characters and plenty of action. There are zombies, psychos, and treachery for the group to overcome as they fight to survive. So looking forward to the next book in the series.

zombie action!
If you are a fan of the reanimated, this storyline will pull you with it. Several views from different characters makes it easy, interesting reading. Gotta go get the next book on the series. Ciao.

Too many garbage humans in this one
This book was just not believable. The main character was weird and the others just were not fleshed out. Almost everyone was an evil killer or selfish monster.

Great Read
Really interesting read . There are so many nutters in the prowl. Along with the back stabbing going on within the group.. I'm really intrigued as to where this story goes . Looking forward to the next book.

Good book, with an old story line, good people escaping, evil people trying to take the good people's stuff and secure locations. I'm going to keep up with the series, it is entertaining and some different twists

Quick and easy read. Would recommend to zombie reader. Some parts typical but most zombie reads are similar. This did have and interesting twist.

Mehh
I generally love zombie apocalypse books but this one I had a hard time finishing. I really couldn't get invested in the main character and it felt a bit dragged out.

Sadly I did not enjoy this book. Virtually everyone is a horrible person. Cannibalism, murder & sociopathic behavior is common in this world.
