MORE MONEY, MORE MURDER…

Heidi Waters, CEO of billion-dollar startup Vitality+, is all the rage in Silicon Valley. Her company’s promises to roll out a neurochemical cure for caffeine-related anxiety are set to change the game, a godsend for anyone who’s ever got the jitters from upsizing their morning coffee order.

There’s just one problem.

There is no cure. The product doesn’t work.

A former acquaintance tips Alexis off to the ten-figure sham, warning that Heidi will do anything to remain in the limelight. After all, it’s often impossible for sociopaths to admit defeat. As Alexis sets off for California, King and Slater follow, embroiling themselves in a criminal web that encompasses a grungy and thuggish mixed-martial-arts gym on the edge of San Francisco.

Doesn’t take them long to figure out that it’s all connected…

Monsters, griping fast paste! ❤

I tried to read Monsters slowly for it to last longer, just a few chapters at a time, but its impossible.
Loved this book, just like all the other Matt Rogers novels.
I worried about them all: Jason, Will and Alexis during their travels. Corruption is everywhere in real life as well as books and movies, but when you read 'King and Slater', you wish there were real people like them.

Keep writing Matt, love them all and can't wait for the next King and Will!!! WAITING WITH ANTICIPATION!!!

4* rather than the usual 5

I hate books that rely on unbelievable coincidence and this one takes it far enough to be too unbelievable. Most of the previous books I have given 5* to, and this one is up there with the rest, except for that one caveat
As ever King and Slater are off putting the world to rights, however this time Alexis has her own storyline and the 2 collide
All of them do what they do best and as ever there are the usual minor set backs, Alexis learns that having someone covering your back is a major plus and King learns that even the most unlikely lie

King,Slater & Alexis take on big pharma start up company where its narcissistic ceo is determined to kill anyone that disagrees with her add to that a psychotic russian hitman & his crew plus a mma gym owner who uses his patrons to kill for hire and you have all the makings of a hard charging action packed story.

All 11 books in series

A good diversity in characters and locations to keep things interesting. The primary characters take way to much punishment everywhere they go...the "morals" are very subjective and at times, rather flawed.
All together, with some editing mistakes, this is an entertaining story.

Pulse pounding fun

Another non stop action thriller from Rodgers. The action doesn’t stop from stop to finish. A must read! King and slater strikes fear and righteousness wherever they go.

As always, a very entertaining and action infused novel

Rogers never disappoints in his stories and plots. He keeps us hooked from the opening line to the last word which always leaves me wanting for more.

Action packed read

This is my second time reading through the series. This book completes the transition of Alexis into a full fledged bad ass. Like all Rogers book it takes several sub plots and ties them all together in a hectic climax. I enjoyed the ride.

Rather predictable action

A single villain and less complex plot. This book seemed rather forced compared to earlier plots and misplaced balance of power

Thank you

Always a joy to follow King, Slater at al. I enjoy the progression of their lives, loves, and families. I hope there will be many more to come.

Another good read from Matt Rogers. Although I feel King, Slater and their partners are somewhat unbelievable, these are stories we like to read. Happy endings, bruised, battered but just endings.

Another Riveting story

So many twists and turns it keeps you glued to it. I especially like the way the author involves you in the thinking of the characters. Great reading.

Lots of talk

Too much for an action story that usually makes the pages fly. Maybe the next time out, let us hope.
