You know it's funny that when you get to know side characters in previous books, and you think that maybe one of the upcoming couples may not be your favorite, and then you get their book and you love it! It was more than I was expecting and I really loved how this couple handled their second chance.

Long separations are not my favorite in romance, so I had this expectation that Bree and Yanis might be a harder book for me. I think what ended up making this a favorite instead was the reason they got back together and the ease of them together. They still had things to work through but it wasn't constant shoving away. It was more of working together to get it right this time. I really, really loved that about these two.

On top of that, we got a really great suspenseful plot that really kept my attention. Not surprising since this author has proved to be an expert at romantic suspense. I can't wait for more in the series!

LOST & FOUND (PASS Series Book #4) by Freya Barker is an action and romance filled thrill ride romantic suspense. This is the couple I have been waiting for and it was worth it. This book can be read as a standalone for the crime and suspense plot, but the PASS characters work together and have evolved as characters over the four books.

Briane “Bree” Graves loves working at PASS. She is a five-foot two spitfire who can hang with all the big boys. She has an emotional past with her boss, Yanis, but she loves her job more and buries any personal feelings between the two. Her latest assignment puts her in the path of dangerous stalker and after she is injured, she finds that she may have been wrong about her and Yanis’ past relationship. Yanis wants her back, but he is the one person who could destroy her.

Yanis Mazur has given up a lot as he has built up PASS Security including a personal life. He has shielded his emotions since a he broke off his relationship with Bree. When Bree is targeted, it wakes him up to what he has been missing and what he wants back. Can he protect Bree and get her to trust him again?

I LOVE Bree and Yanis! They have so much past baggage to overcome and all while just trying to stay alive. The romance works well since they are both 15 years older since their breakup and more mature. They are more willing to talk through their problems and misunderstandings. The build up to their reuniting and the sex scenes progresses at a realistic pace with everything else that is happening in the suspense plot. The sex scenes are perfectly hot and never gratuitous. The suspense plot has many surprises and keeps the characters and readers on their toes right up to the climax. I enjoyed catching up with all that is happening with the other men of PASS and their significant others.

I highly recommend Bree and Yanis’ story, the entire series and all of Ms. Barker’s romantic suspense books!

Lost & Found by Freya Barker
PASS Series #4

The happily ever after for Bree and Yanis has been a LONG time coming but was oh so worth the wait! I think it was worth the wait for the two of them, too! Not only is this a second chance romance but also a story filled with action, suspense, kidnapping, murder and more. I don’t believe I have ever read a book by this author that I has not been a delight!

What I liked:
* Briane “Bree” Graves: strong, capable, team player, lethal, skilled, valued asset, and a whole lot more. I really liked her.
* Yanis Mazur: brother, son, boss, intelligent, lethal, hiding from his own feelings, awakened when the woman he truly loved was threatened.
* The Team: All of them and catching up with what they are doing.
* The Mazur parents: intriguing, quirky, pot growing ex/still hippies, and much more than they appear to be on the surface.
* The way Bill, met during the case, was helped to find a job and may show up in a different series that takes place in Durango…hope he meets his true love in a book in that series.
* The writing, plot, way it kept me guessing with the twists and turns.
* The way characters met in previous books in this series and other series are brought into the story.
* That Bree was capable and respected by the team.
* The way Bree and Yanis talked over their past issues and dealt with them – they were mature, and I admired the fact they communicated with one another.
* That the bad guys were caught/dealt with – most of them.
* The way all the threads were drawn together and tied up by the end of the book.
* Lucy: a cute furry addition to the story.
* Wondering who will find their happily ever after next.

What I didn’t like:
* The bad guys…so easy to hate them and wish dire things would happen to them.
* Having to say goodbye to the group and now wait for another book to be written.

Did I enjoy this book? Yes!
Would I read more in this series? Definitely!!!

Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.

4.25 stars-- LOST AND FOUND is the fourth instalment in Freya Barker’s contemporary, adult PASS romantic suspense series focusing on the men and women who work for PASS (Protection and Security Services) in Grand Junction, Colorado. This is forty-six year old, head of PASS Yanis Mazur, and forty-two year old security specialist Bree Graves’ story line. LOST AND FOUND can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Yanis and Bree) LOST AND FOUND is a second chance story focusing on forty-six year old, head of PASS Yanis Mazur, and forty-two year old security specialist Bree Graves. Approximately fifteen years earlier life imploded for our story line couple, and Yanis pushed our heroine out of his life. Working side by side meant up close and personal through all of their personal and professional ups and downs but Yanis never stopped loving the woman that had stolen his heart. A recent assignment found our heroine in the direct line of fire-an abduction and a case of mistaken identity left Bree recovering at the home of the man who continued to control her heart. As the team at PASS begins to investigate the who, how and why, bodies are discovered, and a connection to local law enforcement, the Mob, and members of the government begin to reveal a long list of secrets and sins throughout the years. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Bree and Yanis, and the potential fall-out as Bree’s would be attacker returns to finish the job.

Yanis Mazur screwed up fifteen years earlier, pushing the only woman he would ever love out of his life but working together meant working with the woman that has stolen his heart, watching from the sidelines as she fell in love and married someone else. Bree Graves never stopped loving our story line hero but her heart was destroyed the day Yanis walked out of her life. Secrets long buried would come to the surface forcing Yanis to look long and hard at what happened and why. When the team at PASS find themselves in the direct line of fire, Yanis has to separate himself from the woman he loves, leaving a vulnerable Bree to protect the people he left behind.

The relationship between Bree and Yanis is one of second chances: a rekindling romance that was destroyed by secrets and lies, grief and guilt. Bree knew Yanis had always been the man who controlled her heart but her secrets could very well destroy the possibility of a happily ever after. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including many we have met in previous story lines: Jake and Rosie (Hit and Run #1); Dimis and Willa (Life and Limb #2); Hilary and Radar (Lock and Load 3); Kai, Shep and receptionist Lena; Yanis and Dimis’ parents Anna and Max; several local law enforcement, FBI; winery owner Joe Flynn, and mobsters Angelo Sarrazin, and Guiseppe Albero,

LOST AND FOUD is story of family, friendships, betrayal and love. A story of obsession, power, secrets and lies; a tale of second chances and forgiveness. The character driven premise is fast paced, engaging and captivating; the characters are feisty, energetic, and animated; the romance is provocative and intimate.

Lost & Found is book four in Freya Barker’s PASS security series. It can absolutely be read as a stand-alone title as I’ve only read one of the previous books and had no issues with keeping up with characters or the plot. I’ve read a few books by this author now, and she’s cemented a spot on my must-read list for romantic suspense books. I’m a total romantic suspense junkie, and the last book I read by this author fed my addiction well, so I was looking forward to this book.

The action wasn’t all fast-paced, but I didn’t feel like that was a bad thing. It kind of ebbed and flowed like a good suspense television show. And while I had a vague idea of who the ultimate villain was, the suspense was complex enough that I didn’t quite figure it all out before the big reveal. (All good things for this long-time romantic suspense junkie! Nothing worse than a predictable outcome in these types of books.) There were many threads to untangle, and the author did a fantastic job of weaving them in a way that had me knowing I was still missing pieces of the puzzle until the very end, which kept me anxiously turning the pages and not putting this book down until I was finished because I HAD to know how it all turned out.

The characters were flawed, but aren’t we all? That just added more depth to the story. Our hero was no smooth talker, that’s for sure. He had to overcome a lot to get his second chance with Bree. And our heroine was pretty stubborn, even if she was a badass! However, with how much Yanis hurt her in the past, it was more than understandable. Despite their flaws, the odds stacked against them, and their history hanging like a black cloud over them, they eventually got their second chance happily ever after.

Now, I’m thinking I’ll be going back and catching up on the previous two books in the series I haven’t read yet and most likely rereading them all in order. If you like romantic suspense books that keep you guessing, you’re going to want to grab a copy of this one today!

I was patiently waiting for Yanis & Bree’s book because I knew it was going to be epic. Freya definitely did not disappoint and as always she by far exceeded my expectations.
I always knew they had a long history together and I loved how she fit it into their story without making you feel you were spending forever in flashbacks. No that’s not her style.
Both characters have so much depth and I loved how this new case that PASS took on forced them to confront their past, their differences and the mutual respect they have for each other. Of course while working together
a new relationship grows. It just made my heart swoon.
There was lots of twists and turns with multiple plots, that of course are filled with suspense, that only Freya can pull off as masterfully as she is known for.
I think this may be my new favorite in the series!

I couldn’t put this book down!

I’ve been impatient to get Yanis’ story and was so excited when I finally had it in my hands. Wow, he was just as incredible as I knew he would be. With protective instincts that totally ring my bell, he was always careful not to overstep with Bree as she was more than capable of protecting herself. However, this has lots of opportunities for him to take care of her which fed even more of my alpha loving heart.

description

Bree was a tough, independent heroine that was able to take care of herself in pretty much any situation. I worried that she might be too tough for my liking. The kind of tough that would make her feel unapproachable and difficult to relate to. Not so. She had a soft heart that had been injured but she was willing to work to get past her issues. Because Yanis respected her talents, she never had to battle him to have her way. There were no too stupid to live moments for this heroine.

description

This is a fast paced story filled with so much action, danger and drama. This mystery is interlaced with events from previous books in the series so it might be best to read them first. However, it would not be difficult to follow along if you have not. The plot intricately weaves itself around the past even as it pulls the reader into a new situation that is rife with danger. One by one things were gradually revealed leaving me glued to my Kindle.

I loved how this had all the steam and smexiness that I enjoy in my romance, along with the suspense that I crave.

I have been eagerly awaiting Yanis and Bree's story because it was clear from the very time we meet them in the pages of the first PASS book that there are unresolved tensions between them. In Lost & Found, we finally get to breathe a collective sigh of relief along with the whole PASS team as these two stop warily circling each other after 15 years and get on the path to happiness.

When they first met, Yanis and Bree burned hot and bright until their distraction nearly caused a client irreparable harm. From that point on, Yanis vowed that he wouldn't allow his personal and professional lives to be entwined again, and he broke things off with her. To add insult to injury, Bree experiences a personal upheaval at the same time, and they try to find a professional footing going forward.

That just makes both of them miserable but you cannot say they aren't committed to their stubbornness! When Bree goes missing on an assignment, all bets are off and Yanis realizes he has to finally pull up his big boy pants if he doesn't want to spend the rest of his life wondering what could have been. Of course he has his work cut out for him to earn Bree's trust back, but he isn't shy about taking every opportunity to prove he is serious and that he has changed. It soon becomes clear that Bree is still in danger as the team spreads themselves thin working to find out who kidnapped her while trying to stop a client's winery business from being sabotaged.

As always, Ms. Barker delivers a story with a great mix of danger, suspense, action, heat, love and laughter. Family ties are emphasized as well across the Mazur blood relatives and the whole PASS team as we see some fantastic updates on prior couples in the series. It was nice to see even Lena, the office manager, get in on the action and there is a tantalizing glimpse of fun things to come for her. So grab a copy of Lost & Found and get ready for the ride!

Getting a new Freya Barker book is like being a kid on Christmas morning! The anticipation building until that day is sweet torture....and then BOOM! It's here and IT IS SPECTACULAR!!!! Once again, Ms. Barker does NOT disappoint! Yanis and Bree's story was everything I expected it to be and SO much more! With Freya's signature flair, Lost&Found pushed every single button; a somewhat slow-burn (if you read the PASS series from the start, you get the backstory to these amazing characters, but it's not necessary to read them in order to enjoy this one!) that FINALLY explodes in such a glorious fashion, the suspense and intensity hits almost immediately and keeps you hooked page after page, chapter after chapter, the twists you expect but never see coming and the steam factor is simply PERFECT!

I know I sound like a broken record when it comes to Freya Barker but, honestly, she is a BRILLIANT author who EVERYONE needs to experience! There IS nobody better at writing romantic suspense that keeps you glued to the pages until the end than her! End of! If you haven't read any of her books....what ARE you waiting for???!!!

This is a well written romantic suspense with strong characters in Briane and Yanis. They have a lot of issues to work through after their break up 15 years ago. The author does a great job developing their relationship and had me glued to the pages with all the suspense and surprises as well as the steamy romance. She paints her scenes perfectly and delivers a fantastic story. Loved and recommend this book.

The incredibly talented and experienced author, Freya Barker, writes such strong characters with relatable flaws and quirks as well as credible settings and situations you feel compelled to invest yourself in her novels. Some books can be read and put down to be returned to later. Some you have to beg, borrow, or steal time from other activities to complete the reading in one sitting. The arrival of a Barker book heralds binge reading. I snuggle down in a comfy chair and the snacking, sipping, laughing, and crying begin.

The stand-alone books of the series introduce family, friends, and co-workers who appear in all the novels. "Lost & Found" tells the story of Yanis and Bree. During Yanis' security company's infancy, a misplaced intimate moment caused a crisis on the job, and a client was traumatized and Bree was shot. While Bree healed and dealt with the sudden death of her mother, the former couple were separated for months. They continued working for the company but on separate jobs for 15 years pushing down their feelings and erecting shields for protection.

But when Bree is kidnapped on an assignment, Yanis smashed his wall and leaped over the rubble racing to the scene. An injured Bree's convalescence requires a caregiver so Yanis appoints himself to the task and begins the arduous journey to earn her trust again. "I've never not cared. As to what brings us here; call it full circle. I ended us when you could have died, it almost ended me when I didn't know if you were still alive."

Searching for the kidnappers, figuring out their motive, and discovering murders complicate the couple's reunion. Add his "hippy-dippy" parents, a new family baby, and problems with other clients and you get the romance, suspense, and humor that make you snatch up Barker books as soon as they publish.

At last we get to know why Bree and Yanis have been skating around each other their chemistry is explosive but neither will admit to it this has been going on for 15 years and now we know why, Yanis finds it difficult to stay away so each time he starts to weaken he sends Bree off on a mission the last one being to impersonate a music star with disastrous effects with Bree being kidnapped as she is mistaken for the star, this finally makes Yanis own up to his feelings much to the delight and poking from his team mates as he races to find Bree he experiences fear like he has never known and is determined to claim her, Bree is a tough lady and soon escapes her kidnapper but is injured Yanis now wont let her out of his sight but the now over bearing man will need to gain her trust which she keeps deep as a lot has happened to her, but danger is on the horizon when a case the are working at a vine yard is connected with the kidnapping and the local mafia , there is plenty of page turning action and twist and turns along the way keeping you engaged, I love the fact that Freya's books include characters from other series creating a seamless interaction we also get to meet Yanis and Dimi's parents who are just hilarious I wont spoil too much but there are puppies and babies being held by these alpha males (swoon)
Another great read and addition to the PASS books one not to miss.

Lost & Found in the fourth book in Freya Barker’s PASS Security series. It is a sec d chance romantic suspense filled with action, great characters and a fantastic storyline. This story is written in first person from the point of view of both the hero, Yanis Mazur and the heroine, Bree Graves. This viewpoint allows the reader to develop a strong connection to the characters and a deeper understanding of their pasts and choices.

Bad choices and a moment of distraction led to disaster and tore Yanis and Bree apart. Over the years they have learned to put the past behind them and work together to build PASS Security. They get a second chance when Bree becomes the focus of a dangerous stalker and Yanis steps in to protect the woman he has never stopped loving. But their road will not be easy as dangers, both known and unknown surrounds them. Will Yanis and the team at PASS be able to keep one of their own safe? Read it and find out.

This book contains a happily ever after and can be read as a standalone, but reading it in order will give you a better appreciation for the characters and the series itself. Particularly the tension and chemistry between Yanis and Bree that has been evident from the start of the series. This was another great addition to this amazing PASS series and I hope there is another book in the works.

By reading the other books in this series I knew there was something going on between Yanis and Bree, so I was ecstatic to finally get their story. We do learn that Yanis and Bree did have a relationship years ago, and it was Yanis who decided to end things. I was actually in awe of Bree and also a bit sad for her, I did not know how she was able to work with Yanis for so long even after what they had meant to each other and then he broke her heart. His reasons are revealed, as is how he is not as indifferent to her as he has been seen to be. After the latest assignment Yanis sent her on, she has gone missing, this jolts him immediately into action to get her back. Once she is back in his arms, he finally decides his stance on keeping things professional is over, he can not let her go again.

Not only are we taken on this incredible journey of the two of them coming back together but the action packed storyline also had me engrossed in their story. Lost & Found was a fantastic read and a great addition to the PASS series.

This is an enthralling romantic suspense filled thriller that kidnapped my attention! The unpredictable plot twists ensured I read this story in one sitting. Ms. Barker gives us a five star entertaining story filled with drama, humor and a heaping side of steam!

A high-profile case goes wrong and Yanis learns what’s really important. But is it enough for him to act on it once and for all?

Yanis burned her before, now Bree has to decide if she is willing to give him a second chance. Unfortunately, things with their case isn’t as wrapped up as they thought and their second chance just might be lost for good.

I absolutely loved these characters together! I appreciated that they were level-headed, intelligent with inner strength. My heart hurt to discover what Bree had gone through and that Yanis had no idea. These two have circled each other for far too long. A slow burn that reaps the sweetest rewards! I really, really liked how the author ended this story, the epilogue was beautiful.
Lost and Found is part of a series, but can easily be read as a stand alone.

This author just keeps getting better and better. She has a remarkable ability to write "ordinary", yet unusual, people enmeshed in extraordinary situations. Her characters are people you can easily envision. I've been looking forward to Yanis and Bree's story. He's a gruff alpha and she is a badass, yet the story shows they both have many layers to their personalities. The lead in chapters of the book were a little unexpected, at least for me, but made the book gripping from the start. The story unfolded with glimpses of humor, pain and plenty of suspense. Loved watching the story unfold as Yanis is carefully determined to win Bree over, his frustration with his parents, the ever popular "hippy-dippy" Anna and Max, all while trying to keep Bree safe and juggle the responsibilities of his business. I think I may have caught a few glimpses of future stories? Personally I hope this series doesn't end for a long time, I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Yanis and Bree are SPECTACULAR! There's been sizzling chemistry in the background of this series between these two that built up to their story, but even still I was blown away by them together. This book is one of second chances, learning from the past, and growth. From their history that has only been hinted at previously finally being brought out into the open to the love that never ended between them growing even stronger the romance of Lost & Found is absolutely beautiful.
But would it be a Freya Barker book without nail-biting suspense also? (The answer is no, this author does suspense like no other!) Rounding out all the swoony romance is suspense that keeps you guessing throughout the entire book. I was just as enthralled by the mystery and action surrounding Bree, Yanis, and the PASS crew as I was by the romance.
Freya has yet again written a breathtaking romantic suspense read that will have you wanting to re-read the entire series just to experience that magic again.

I have been waiting for this story and it did not disappoint. Bree and Yanis are great. These two have known each other for a long time and there has always been chemistry there just didn’t know why they don’t act on it. When Bree ends up missing, Yanis finally figures out that life isn’t going to wait for him to get his act together about Bree. I loved how protective of her he was while still trying to let her have her freedom. They have been around each other so long they know each other well. Yanis is ready for forever with Bree, but she isn’t sure about opening her heart again. Loved learning page by page what has transpired in their pasts both between each other and on their own. Throw in a background mystery that the PASS team is trying to solve and then working on a vineyard that keeps being sabotaged and you have a five star story. The writing is phenomenal as always and the characters pull you in. Cant wait for more from this PASS crew.

We start out following Bree and her conversation with Yanis. What is Bree not happy about? What assignment is she given and why? I feel bad for Bree once she gets to her destination, especially after seeing what her 'outfit' is like! I really like Sam, he seems nice. Not sure how I feel about Yanis yet. Who is behind the events that are going on? Who is Albero? How is he known to the various parties, if at all, in the story? I ended up falling in love with Yanis as the story went on. Can I have a man like him myself? He was such a surprise to me! I will say this story ended up with me barking out a laugh! Read and see what had me unable to put this book down once I started. I ended up ticked off as all get out with Sam, btw.

This is book four in The Pass Series and it is Bree and Yanis story and it is a must read. Bree and Yanis both deny how they feel about each other until danger threatens Bree and Yanis will do anything to protect her and get her back to safety but will be get to her in time to save her. The chemistry between them is so hot that you can feel it sizzling of the pages of the book but will it be enough for them to get a happy ending. This is definitely a action packed book that keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what else would happen and I couldn't put this book down as it was so addictive and a real page turner. I really loved this book and I definitely recommend you read it as Freya Barker is a brilliant author and writer and her books are definitely worth reading.

I have a few authors that are true “one clicks” for me….No reading the blurb, no looking at reviews…just hit that “buy” button. Freya Barker is one of those authors. Her books are about as real as you can get and still be fiction. The characters are older and wiser and the plots are not beyond reason. There is always a lot of action and tasteful romance. But the kicker for me is that no two characters and no two stories are alike. So there’s no chance I’ll become bored!

Yanis and Bree’s story is about a second chance romance. They’ve both been fighting and ignoring their feelings for way too long. Unfortunately, it takes a scary situation to remove heads from asses. But once that’s done nothing hold them back. From start to finish, Lost and Found captured my attention and I was unable to put it down!

This book is one of my favorite reads of the year so far. The plot is awesome, first of all. The suspense doesn’t let up, and it starts from the beginning of the book. Yannis’s anger at himself, at the situation, and then at the danger is a stark statement of his integrity and his focus on doing what is right, rather than what is comfortable. He and Bree confront themselves and their past, and the new relationship that comes of that is both stronger and more hopeful than even the fear that imbues so much of this work. No spoilers here – but don’t miss your chance to read this book. It has it all – great writing, a gripping story, and a sense of peace when you reach the end – it’s vintage Freya Barker.

As an old fan/reader from Mrs. Barker, I´ve learnt to expect everything from her books: yes, there is always a surprise. I´ve fell in love from a character I previously hated (as she wrote once, everyone has its own story).
Here is no different; In the previous Pass Series books, you could tell there was a past between Bree and Yanis; but It was much better than I could have imagined – and so is this book.
I love how the story develops, just as a calm sunny day to a hurricane; I loved the way the relationship between Bree and Yanis developed and how Freya was so able (as always) to describe their feelings and growth as individuals. Mostly, I love how she writes it so easily for us to read and fall in love. Just be warned: once you starts reading you won´t be able to stop!

This book follows Yanis and Bree from the PASS team. We’ve briefly met them in the other books and it was obvious they had history. Yanis often sends Bree away on missions, out of sight….out of temptation. On this mission, where Bree is doubling as a famous singer, a gig she was not happy about taking since she had to wear a dress and be on glam on the red carpet, she gets kidnapped.
At this point all Yanis’ protective instincts relating to Bree surge to the forefront and the reasons keeping them apart, which had always been his choice, suddenly seem insignificant.
A book of arcing chances, if Bree dares trust him with her heart again and your typical Freya Baker suspense. Live this series.

Yanis & Bree

Love this series and each book that can be read alone.

She loves her job and the guys on the team. Her family. Not so much her boss and their past. She's a skilled agent whose tiny size rarely makes a difference. Until one assignment puts her on a dangerous stalker's radar. They have spent years fighting their feelings for each other.

Is the past they've been resisting going to get in the way of business?

There isn't much more to tell without spoiling it for the reader. Just know this is another winner by the author. The characters fans have met and new readers will meet are fun, dangerous, loyal, and HOT. There is plenty of steam along with the danger, action, and surprises. A not-to-miss read!

Oh my goodness - this one is amazing! My new favorite in this series - maybe - let’s be honest, I’ve loved them all so far.

Yanis and Bree have essentially been circling around each other for 15 years. I wanted to punch/smack Yanis twice so I’m sure Bree wanted to do something to him at least once when he left her 15 years ago! Poor woman has had to work with him the whole time too. Stronger woman then me that’s for sure.
So Bree is doing her job when all of a sudden something goes wrong and she kidnapped. Eek!!! Now Yanis gets off his butt and finally admits he wants her back. Love the romance and greatly enjoyed the suspense. Truly my favorite type of story!

This book tells the story of Bree and Yanis, feelings still simmering beneath the surface after 15 years of suppressing it and maintaining a professional working relationship. That is until the day she went missing on a job. And Yanis realized that he need to man up and get the relationship he wants with her back on track. Bree has her doubts having been hurt bad by his previous abandonment but the pull is still there. Can they give this a chance again? This is a fast paced suspense romance with characters in true Freya Barker style, real like the rest of us, flaws and all. A five star read.

So satisfying!

Finally Yanis gets his head out of his ass and sees what is right in front of him. Bree. And Bree dares to hope that she can go there again. I love a good book where two prickly people finally realize they have been idiots all along and admit their true feelings -- this is one of those books. But in addition to that, there is lots of action, suspense, foreplay and supporting characters successfully doing their job.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and truly loved every moment. If you enjoy real characters that you can become invested in; romantic suspense and a satisfying conclusion, add this to your TBR pile right away.

Another amazing read by a wonderful author. Freya has a way of writing were you feel like you are right there feeling ever emotion the characters are going through. I have waited a long time for this book and am thrilled that Bree and Yanis finally got their HEA. There is drama, int we igue, murder, kidnapping, babies, dogs, love, and a few hippies along the way. Your attention will be riveted from beginning to end. I laughed so hard throughout this book and cried along with the characters. Great read.
I recently listened to the audio version of this book and was blown away. Each version is fantastic.. I

Freya’s books are always action-packed, intriguing, and suspenseful. She pays attention to detail and even the smallest thing is not left unturned. I have read some authors where a small clue is totally forgotten about in books but not Freya. This story of second chance is a delight to read and also heartbreaking. The witty dialog and the suspense really move this story along at breakneck speed. How are all of these clues interconnected? It would be hard to explain plus I would not want to, read the book. Yanis and Bree are such a great couple. Thanks for another great story, Freya.
