Inspirational story!
This book was full of sad and hard times but God got this author and her family through it. It took courage to write her story and I’m so glad she did as I went through her lows and highs in this book I made me reflect on my own faith and made me take the time to say a prayer and be joyful for life could be worst. I couldn’t stop reading this story and I highly recommend everyone take a chance on this book!

So inspiring!
Counting It All Joy is an inspiring memoir about overcoming tremendous adversity with the help of God. I can't agree with the author enough that God sometimes does give you more than you can handle, but she then relies on her relationship with God to get through when life feels like too much. This is a quick read that will fill you with inspiration and hope, no matter what you are facing. Highly recommend!

Awesome Read
Laurie,I loved your book.I read it in one sitting Took me about 2 hours.God Bless you and your family,and extended family.I know your family,but had know idea the pain and sorrow you and your family have been through.God didn't promise it would be easy ,but he did say he would be there if we called.This was an amazing book,so inspiring for those of us facing surmounted trials.Keep the faith and keep writing .Love Rita Gregory!💝💝💝💝

Great read!
I loved this book! Laurie’s love of the Lord jumps off the pages. Her faith is something like I have never seen. Through devastating hardships she chose joy. I also lost my brother unexpectedly and I wept as I read the story of her losing her dear brother. It’s a reminder that tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone. Thank you for your beautiful testimony, Laurie.

Laurie is a friend from early high school and she's written a raw, honest book of her faith through so many challenges. She is truly a faithful mother, daughter, wife and Christian in the face of all life has dropped in her lap. This book is a wonderful read and will remind you that no matter your circumstances, your faith should never waiver.

Encouraging
I liked the author’s genuine style. She shares her heartache along with her heart for Jesus. Though our stories are different, I related in many ways to the lost dreams and journey to find joy again in what is reality. I plan to re-read it with a highlighter in my hand. Nicely done!

Laurie’s personal story sets an example of how to persevere through the tough times with tremendous strength and faith. I have great respect for her ability to share the struggles she and her family experienced. Sometimes we all need a reminder that there is always a bright side.
